Very well made and fits great.Well made and fits perfectly. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was that the veneer is in short strips and looks like a gym floor. I stained it and it didn't help. Wish they would take the veneer off the floor and leave it in its natural wood color. A regular wood grain would work better.

A sturdy and beautiful bookcase that is easy to assembleThis is a great looking, durable, well made bookshelf. I ordered the espresso version and liked it so much that I ordered a second one right after I assembled the first one. The assembly process was easy and took me about two hours to put together myself. The trickiest part was aligning the top grooves with the side grooves when attaching the back. I recommend not tightening the top too much the first time you attach it and then tightening the bolts at the very end once the back is attached and secure. The instructions call for attaching the back upside down, but it works just as well on its side. The instructions also mention to place the bookshelf on a rug or cardboard to protect the surface when assembling it, but I placed it on three brick-like foam blocks that came in the box. That worked perfectly. The bookshelf was very well packaged, but the box was heavy! I could push it around, but I couldn't lift it myself. I went downstairs, opened the box, and carried the contents upstairs piece by piece.

I am satisfiedbought a dining table from this company and stained it myself and use it as a desk in my office and I am very happy with it. So when I was looking for a bookcase and saw they had this for sale, I watched the price fluctuations and ended up buying it at a low price. I have no complaints. It was well packaged and the contents were in great condition. It was very easy to assemble and I didn't need any help. I will use it as is for now while I clean out the garage and stain it... It will be a little work like the table, but it will look great when it is done. The shelves are very sturdy. The 60" height is enough to fit most of my important books and maybe a few things without being too high. Once assembled, it feels very sturdy. For a little more money and effort, you can get a much better product than the low quality particle board garbage that is everywhere now.

Heavy, solid, solid wood! I love it!bought a 48" x 32" x 12" white (washed effect) bookcase. For complete transparency, I really wanted a solid wood bookcase, not particle board. I like the natural white color, not too pale, but not too noticeable. The bookcase is heavy, and is best moved by one or two strong people. It took me a few hours to build by myself, especially because I was very careful and didn't want to damage anything. When I hand-tighten the screws with a screwdriver, I first screw them in and then back out to make sure the joints are not crooked. Although this piece was not the hardest to build, it was a bit challenging because the overall quality is good! Only the back joints are made of wood, so I need to be careful not to get stuck with wood chips. It holds my books well and can definitely hold about 150 books. It costs $30-$60 more than the cheaper version, but I know this one will last much longer than the cheaper version. You can buy it at your local supermarket!

Very good product ....There are quite a few screws for assembly. The shelf is smooth and the holes are small so it won't slip. Very sturdy. I will definitely buy it again.

Much better than those cheap compressed wood bookshelves!I am very pleased with how well the contents turned out. Assembly was a breeze. I no longer have to worry about the "wood" peeling or the compressed filler crumbling over time. The piece of furniture is sleek and the height is just right (five layers).
