A LITTLE TRICKY TO PUT TOGETHERA HELPER IS NEEDED, INSTRUCTIONS ARE OK, GETTING THE HEIGHT RIGHT TO CLEAR A STORM DOOR A THIRD PERSON TO OPEN THE DOOR WHILE YOU AND A HELPER HOLD THE UNIT UP TO MARK THE LOCATION OF THE SUPPORTS. DUE TO THE OLD FASHIONED DOOR HEADER I HAVE I NEEDED TO PACK OUT WHERE THE SUPPORTS ARE FASTENED, IF YOU HAVE A FLAT WALL YOU SHOULD DRILL A COUPLE PILOT HOLES SO YOU DON\'T GO ABOVE THE DOOR HEADER, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SIDEING OVER SHEATHING (MOSTLY THE NEWER GYSPUM TYPE SHEATHING).

Great addition!Absolutely love this awning! It will require 2 people to mount it if you put it together prior to installing it. I put the frame together first, then mounted it, then removed the end bracket and slide the overhead panels into place then put the end bracket back inplace. Love the way it looks on the shop and very practical. Worth the money.

Strong AwningWe purchased this to go over a mini split that gets quite a bit of runoff water on it from the roof. This size covered the unit and stopped all the water from running on the unit. Not sure why they installed the mini spit where they did but constantly pouring water or snow melt can\'t be good for any electrical unit. Satisfied with the product strength, installation instructions and value.

Decent product, but flawed executionI recently purchased this product and have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it looks good once mounted and seems to be doing its job for now. However, I have some significant concerns about its durability and the quality of the included hardware.;The product itself feels flimsy, and the anchor bolts that come with it are not so great. I would strongly recommend replacing them with proper bolts from a hardware store to ensure a secure installation.;My main concern is how well this product will hold up over time, especially in harsh weather conditions. While it might be okay in the rain, I\'m worried that snow might be too much for it to handle.;Overall, it\'s an average product that could be improved with better materials and hardware. Needs a gutterEasy to install if you have two people to hold it up while attaching it, great quality and looks very nice on the house. My only regret is that it doesn\'t have a small gutter. When it rains hard, the water pouring off the bottom edge splashes up on the lower half of the door or anyone standing under it.

Installation is hit or missThe awning itself is very easy to assemble and is pretty light--since it\'s all plastic except the horizontal aluminum bars. The size is exactly what I was looking for.
The installation is a bit of a struggle, primarily because of the expansion bolts. I hammered the metal sleeves (the tube part of the expansion bolt) into the wall, but basically, the conical nuts are at the very end of the sleeve, and so, there\'s very little threading for the bolts to screw into. I\'m left with 4 small metal holes in my exterior wall. The bolts just slide in and out, there\'s nothing to grip. I kept the expansion sleeves in the wall and filled them with epoxy. I\'m going to try to screw into the epoxy with self-drilling screws that I have on hand. The expansion sleeves will at least provide some structure to the screws since they are a bit of metal. If this doesn\'t work, I might either give up and return this product, or try to buy better expansion bolts separately.Posted on

Not badI\'ve had this outdoor canopy installed for a while and overall it works pretty well. The awning is well made, practical and attractive. Its material is durable and easy to install. If it rains lightly, rainwater will basically not get in. But it would be dangerous if it rains heavily, and the sound of rain falling on the awning will be louder. I\'m still satisfied!

BUT I did not put them up.
These awnings are NOT STURDY, and I live where there is a LOT
of wind. Why put the time in to install them when I already know

Perfect additionWas easy to assemble… and I hung it all by myself. Used the box it came in to make a template… used a level on template and then marked the holes with the template. Drilled the holes with a 3/8 masonry bit and hammer drill and went through brick like butter. The awning was light enough for me to hold in middle of door and place the supplied T10 expansion bolts… Awning looks good does the intended job… it started raining right after I installed… keeps the door dry and the base of door dry…

Lightweight and looks greatThe material was very light but appeared strong to stand up to most weather. We got a size that will cover our window. We plan to get another for another side door.
The instructions needed a few words for description but all I got was pictures. It took some trial and lots of errors and frustration. You have to slide the cover on to the tracks. Very frustrating. It is a 2 person job and be prepared to take it slow.

Pretty and light weightI bought this awning to put on the air conditioner to protect it from the bad weather. We had some storms and high winds, just as I had hoped. It is kept dry, solves the water seepage problem, and is a complement to the house. I highly recommend these awnings.

Good looking and provides some weather protectionI had a handyman install it, and he said it was easy to assemble and install. I wish it provided a little more relief from the sun bc it is on the southern side of the house and gets FULL sun all day long.
