Strong AwningWe purchased this to go over a mini split that gets quite a bit of runoff water on it from the roof. This size covered the unit and stopped all the water from running on the unit. Not sure why they installed the mini spit where they did but constantly pouring water or snow melt can\'t be good for any electrical unit. Satisfied with the product strength, installation instructions and value.

Installation is hit or missThe awning itself is very easy to assemble and is pretty light--since it\'s all plastic except the horizontal aluminum bars. The size is exactly what I was looking for.
The installation is a bit of a struggle, primarily because of the expansion bolts. I hammered the metal sleeves (the tube part of the expansion bolt) into the wall, but basically, the conical nuts are at the very end of the sleeve, and so, there\'s very little threading for the bolts to screw into. I\'m left with 4 small metal holes in my exterior wall. The bolts just slide in and out, there\'s nothing to grip. I kept the expansion sleeves in the wall and filled them with epoxy. I\'m going to try to screw into the epoxy with self-drilling screws that I have on hand. The expansion sleeves will at least provide some structure to the screws since they are a bit of metal. If this doesn\'t work, I might either give up and return this product, or try to buy better expansion bolts separately.Posted on

Not badI\'ve had this outdoor canopy installed for a while and overall it works pretty well. The awning is well made, practical and attractive. Its material is durable and easy to install. If it rains lightly, rainwater will basically not get in. But it would be dangerous if it rains heavily, and the sound of rain falling on the awning will be louder. I\'m still satisfied!

Durability ???I received the awnings promptly and assembly was easy enough...
BUT I did not put them up.
These awnings are NOT STURDY, and I live where there is a LOT
of wind. Why put the time in to install them when I already know

Very poor quality materials.Very poor quality materials the polycarbonate panels arrived damaged bad but the protective film covering the panels were fine and the shipping box was fine poor quality control at best there\'s better quality solutions out there.

Perfect additionWas easy to assemble… and I hung it all by myself. Used the box it came in to make a template… used a level on template and then marked the holes with the template. Drilled the holes with a 3/8 masonry bit and hammer drill and went through brick like butter. The awning was light enough for me to hold in middle of door and place the supplied T10 expansion bolts… Awning looks good does the intended job… it started raining right after I installed… keeps the door dry and the base of door dry…

Works Very GoodWe bought this to block the rain outside of our front door so we wouldn’t get soaked while standing outside our house. Our roof is rather small and doesn’t quite cover the area outside of our front door.The quality is good and it is reasonably priced. It is very sturdy and the color matches our home.

Lightweight and looks greatThe material was very light but appeared strong to stand up to most weather. We got a size that will cover our window. We plan to get another for another side door.
The instructions needed a few words for description but all I got was pictures. It took some trial and lots of errors and frustration. You have to slide the cover on to the tracks. Very frustrating. It is a 2 person job and be prepared to take it slow.

Pretty and light weightI bought this awning to put on the air conditioner to protect it from the bad weather. We had some storms and high winds, just as I had hoped. It is kept dry, solves the water seepage problem, and is a complement to the house. I highly recommend these awnings.

SUGGESTIONS:
-Make the side brackets out of a fiber glass composite.
-Add a piece of weather stripping to rear section that mounts to wall.
OPINION:

Good looking and provides some weather protectionI had a handyman install it, and he said it was easy to assemble and install. I wish it provided a little more relief from the sun bc it is on the southern side of the house and gets FULL sun all day long. But it does provide a bit of weather protection and it looks really nice!
