High quality and dense padding.I'm very impressed with them. I bought two thinking I'd need extra padding to double the amount but now that I've spread them out the padding is very thick and perfect for cushioning under the bars. I jump on them and the cushioning is great, I fell once but was surprised I didn't feel anything. I'm using them to rehab my knee and I can kneel down and do exercises I wouldn't have dared to do on the floor before.

Great quality mat at a great price!My personal trainer recommended I get a 1.5" thick mat for floor exercises, but the ones I looked at looked very thin. This 2" thick mat is very comfortable, good quality, made of high density foam, folds easily, and has a handle for easy carrying. Definitely recommend.

Long-lastingGot this for my middle child for gymnastics, but it also gets used as a tummy time mat for our youngest. We love that it folds up for easy storage. We use it a lot, and it lasts! The cushion is soft but not too squishy. It's big enough for cartwheels and to fit under our gymnastics bar.

Good value for money. Beautiful color.These mats are thick, but very light. If you have a hard bare floor, you need to hold them down with something or they will slide off easily. The material of the mats is thin, and the edges don't fit very well. They are held together very securely with Velcro. The colors are great! We bought the rainbow color. I don't think these mats will last as long as some of the more expensive ones. We use our mats quite a lot, so they may need to be replaced quite often.

Very well made and perfect for playing with my granddaughter.I bought two for my toddler granddaughter and I'm so glad I did. They are well made and have velcro on the ends so you can connect them to make one long mat or put them side by side for a larger play area. My dog walked on them a few times and I was worried he would puncture the vinyl mat, but he turned out fine. (I wouldn't say it's safe to do that too often.)

Good enoughIt's good, and my son uses it when he plays. It's a little hard though. Can be slippery on tile floors, so be careful. I've had it for a month and the handles and seams are a little broken...but they're easy to fix...if you don't mind taking the time. Otherwise it's good.

Perfect for my kidsThis tumbling mat is awesome. My 2 year old loves pulling it out (it's light enough for her to carry it by herself) and showing off her tumbling (aka falling over, haha) skills. It's very durable and the mat is thick enough to keep her safe while doing floor exercises.

Love it!This is awesome! Bought this for my little girl's tummy time - it's great to be able to lay on this mat with her now that we're older. Now that she can roll over and slide, it gives her more room to explore. Best of all, it will last her many years! Perfect thickness and functional. It makes our hardwood floors a little slippery, but not a big deal since it's on them most of the day. I've put hot coffee on it and now there's a ring on it, so don't do that. I highly recommend this to new parents, better than the baby mats which are usually smaller and less cushioned.

Great for practice!bought this for my daughter to use for tumbling, cheerleading and gymnastics. Very good material. She has had it for at least 2-3 years and it is still the same as when we first bought it. Definitely worth the money.

This is probably one of the most used items we’ve ever purchased!We bought this mat to prevent our baby from rolling over and to sleep next to the crib at night. Not only do we worry about him climbing out and falling in the middle of the night, but it also allows us, as parents, to quickly lay down on the floor next to the crib when we are trying to get him to sleep. Add a pillow and a couple of blankets and you are set! It folds up easily and fits under the crib when not in use. The straps are very practical and I love that it is easy to carry and can be wiped down with a wet wipe when needed. I love that it is a neutral grey and I can see my baby using it a lot as he gets older.

This is the best mat I have ever owned! Now I can do yoga and other floor exercises standing up!As a 60 year old woman who has been plagued by foot and arthritis issues (and hardwood floors) it has been nearly impossible for me to do yoga and other floor exercises no matter what mat I tried - even using three stacked regular yoga mats was not enough to minimize the pain I experience in my feet, knees, hips, and spine when trying to do floor exercises or any exercise barefoot... until now. Since this mat arrived I have been so happy to be able to do the yoga and other exercises I have been wanting to do for years! It has much better cushioning than my previous system (three yoga mats layered) and is also much easier to take out and put back on! I can finally be barefoot and on the floor without worrying that I am being tortured! Great mat! I did buy two because it was narrower than I would have liked - but I also didn't want to spend over $100 for a wider one... so just bought two! I am currently waiting on some self-adhesive velcro to hold the two mats together more securely. If they don't work I will just hand sew some velcro on. It would be nice if the manufacturer would sew the velcro onto both sides of the mat (hook on one long side and loop on the other long side) so I wouldn't have to sew it myself. :) Edited to add: My velcro wouldn't stick to the mat, so I tried taping two mats together, and that has worked well so far. Just be sure to tape them well so the mat can still fold in one direction. (see pic) This way the folded mat is tall and thin and can stand upright on the wall of my closet. (Ignore the little square marks...I just used this mat before taking the photo and then put a chair on it to practice. The marks disappeared after a few minutes)

A must-have for any glassEdited to add: We've had this mat for 2 years now (ish) and it's still very durable and great for practice! Her tumbling technique has improved, so she's falling more often. It still absorbs her falls very well! My daughter is a competitive cheerleader, but she's 6 years old and still learning the basics of cheerleading tumbling. After receiving multiple recommendations about this mat, we decided to get it. We chose the 1 3/8" one because, again, it was suggested to be the better of the two. The 2" one (while it doesn't seem to make much of a difference) is said to be less sturdy, and tumbling requires sturdiness. First, shipping was super fast. We ordered on a Saturday and it arrived Monday morning. It's very easy to move around. It's large enough for any standing tumbling drill, but small enough to store easily. The quality is amazing. It's very different from the cheaper versions out there - you can tell it's going to stand the test of time. I also love that it can be safely and securely attached to other mats to create a longer tumbling track (great for practicing tumbling moves). If you're concerned about the safety of the 1 3/8, my daughter has never landed well when she tumbled and she has never been injured or said it hurt when she fell.

Famous brand, the same products as those in gymnastics gyms.This is exactly the kind of panel pad you'd find in most gymnastics gyms. Foldable, with velcro on the ends to attach additional panel pads to create a long tumbling bar. Awesome, I'm glad we can get it from costway! As a retired gymnast, I just want a safe place to continue skill practice (handstands, handsprings, handsprings, standing somersaults, etc.) and conditioning work (fold up for high pushups, dips, extensions, plyometric jumps, etc.), and this is exactly what I was looking for. Best used on a flat, hard surface to ensure long life. Using it on grass or other uneven surfaces may cause uneven wear on the pad, and frequently using it for exercises like weighted sledding/running/pushing on the floor or grass will also greatly shorten its life. Hitting/landing in the same spot every time over (quite a while) may also cause dents/dents in the cushioning, but that's to be expected. My board did have a pretty strong chemical smell when it arrived. It was fine after 2-3 days in the garage. I occasionally use it outdoors, and it can get hot to the touch if left out in the sun. I fix this by throwing a beach towel over it. My board doesn't slide at all, but then again, I don't wear socks and don't slide in at a low angle (side force) which would cause it to slide more. Overall - great product and fits the bill very well for a standard gymnastics training tool as it is one of the major supplier brands.

Great pad - may be irritating to sensitive skinbought this mat for my 5 year old daughter to practice tumbling/gymnastics safely at home. When I opened the mat on Christmas morning, a strong chemical smell hit my nose. We had a relative visiting from out of town, and they brought a terrible stomach virus with them. Their child promptly vomited all over my daughter's new gymnastics mat, proving that it was both waterproof and easy to clean... well, except for the banana chunks in the hard velcro, which I can say were easily removed with a toothpick. In fact, I actually started to like the strong chemical smell. Anything is better than vomit, but alas, after a thorough disinfection and drying outdoors for a few days, the tragedy of the virus played out on everyone in our family, and the strong chemical smell was gone. My daughter loves this mat. It is well made and made of high quality materials. It is comparable to the mat she uses in gymnastics class, or even better because it is thicker. However, something happened recently that scared me. I also have a 9 month old who is crawling. After my 5 year old daughter finished gymnastics, I let my 9 month old sit on the mat. Anywhere the mat touched her exposed skin it felt like a minor chemical burn and she was only on the mat for 3-5 minutes just laying there chewing on the teether. She does have very sensitive skin but it still makes me very curious what that strong chemical smell is from this material. It wouldn't have any effect on my 5 year old but as a mother I have started to wonder if I am unknowingly exposing my family to some seriously harmful chemicals after seeing the effects it has on my baby's skin. Also, there is no doubt that there is no disinfecting chemical left on the mat that would cause this symptom.
