Love itI did a lot of online research on different electric bbq's and this one was the best. Took a bit to assemble as it was difficult to insert bottom pole into base. This barbie exceeded expectations and I am extremely happy with it. Heats up quickly and a delight to cook on. Non stick plate is amazing and cleaning is a breeze. Fantastic purchase but a 3 week delivery time was unacceptable.

Portable Electric Grill ReviewsThe product arrived as ordered and in great condition. This is a great gift for apartment dwellers and it fulfills all the intended functions: affordable, portable and beautiful. However, it is highly recommended to use some kind of substrate, such as volcanic rock, to protect the heating element and make the heat distribution more even.

Great value and functionalityWhat a great buy! I loved the first one so much I bought another for another house. This thing is essentially a George Foreman grill with a rack, but it works great, is portable, and is easy to disassemble and clean. No charcoal or gas to replace, and no flames to burn food.

Great grill!This grill is awesome! It heats up in just minutes and cooks just like a charcoal grill. The only thing I have a problem with is cleaning the bowl on the bottom of the grill since you have to remove the burners to do so. Still, for an electric grill, it's a great buy.

Expensive replacement partsI received my grill a few weeks ago. I had no intention of keeping it indoors at all, just outside in the driveway. I bought the tabletop model, not the pedestal model. On my second use, the wind caught the open lid and blew it off the table. When the grill fell to the ground, two legs broke. I went to the manufacturer's website and ordered two replacement legs. They were $20 each! And it took 2 months to ship from China. One more update. I dropped my rating from 3 to 4 stars because the parts only took a few days to arrive after ordering, not the 2-4 months they originally said. Still expensive though!

Camping grillLooks like it should be fine. We'll be using it next week. The only downside is the plug is on the front. It would seem better on the side. And it could be easier to assemble. Some parts should come pre-assembled, but you have to put every bolt, nut, and screw on yourself.

Requires 20 ampsI didn't realize it when I bought this, but this thing requires a 20 amp power source. Luckily our house is wired enough and we just had to change the breaker to the 20 amp, but most outlets are only 15 amp and this grill would trip it.

Small gasless grill.Small and compact. Need a side table to place dishes and cutlery. Also recommend buying a suitable cover to protect against wind and rain. Grilled steaks with good results. Heats up quickly. Easy to clean. Just wipe the grill and empty the drip tray.

Solid grillThe installation was fairly simple, with only picture instructions and no text, and the tool took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. There was one part that was slightly bent, I guess from the delivery, but I fixed it. I haven't used it yet, I might burn it as a souvenir, and update you later.

It’s a little fiddly to assemble, but this little grill makes delicious food!started assembling this on my own, and it was much easier once I had another hand to help me fix some things. This requires a few basic tools, so be prepared with screwdrivers, pliers, and socket wrenches. It came packaged very well, which was good because my box had tears, dents, and dampness when I picked it up. It's also heavy for a small person like me. But since it has a lot of parts, getting it out of the box wasn't a problem. The assembly instructions are just pictures/diagrams and aren't super detailed. All the holes lined up nicely though, so that was no problem. I cleaned the grill before cooking, and highly recommend turning the temperature up to 450 degrees to let the chemical smell burn off for a while. I could still smell it 30 minutes later, and I didn't want that on my food. We quickly grilled some turkey burgers after that. There did seem to be some hot spots on the grill, so we had to figure out which areas were getting the most heat - it was definitely not evenly distributed. When opening the lid to check on the food, the temperature drops about 100 degrees and takes a few minutes to get back to normal. I have no complaints about the way it cooks though - the food has always been delicious. The next night we cooked some New York steaks which also turned out very well. I was surprised at the shiny finish on the cooking surface and was a little concerned about cleaning it with a brush - not sure how long the coating would last. I would probably take it to the sink and use a mildly abrasive sponge instead. I did like the portability of the grate for easy cleaning. We were able to easily fit 4 quarter pound burgers on the cooking surface with room left over so you could cook for a small group. I bought this for my vacation home since we are too far from a grocery store to worry about charcoal or propane and I think it is a great choice and a great value for the money!

Must tighten 4 screws. HahaIt's not fully assembled after I unbox it. I have to put the lid and handles on first. It's actually pretty easy to put together. I'm just a grumpy old man. I had a friend cook a meal and he has this grill and it works pretty well. We're going to use it for the first time today.

Excellent BBQ!Excellent value for the price. I just bought one; I had one a few years ago and forgot about it when I moved - I regretted it later. It grills well, heats well, and doesn't burn food as easily as a gas grill. It's well built and the assembly was great. One mistake I made was not reading the instructions carefully. A gas grill at this price point might not be as sturdy and stable - the steel plates are probably much thinner than this one. Things to note: 1. It doesn't heat up as fast as a gas grill, so it takes longer, especially in cold weather. 2. The dripping oil will evaporate, giving the grill flavor, but it will flow into the oil cup more than a gas grill, so check and empty the oil cup frequently. 3. It's important to keep the oil cup as sealed as possible for better flavor and heat retention. 4. Since gas grills are electric, you need to be more careful with the lid on or when storing indoors than with a gas grill. Always unplug after use!!! All in all, excellent value for money, and the price is now much lower than what I paid in the past!

Works great and the food tastes greatThis is one of the few electric grills I've seen where the juices from the meat have a chance to come into contact with the heating element. This creates some smoke and the occasional spark, but in turn, it improves the quality of the grill. Plus the fact that the heating element is above the vaporizer/spice rack naturally increases the amount of smoke. Because of this, it's definitely not suitable for indoor cooking, but as a trade-off, it's definitely a great alternative to non-gas/charcoal grills. I've grilled several steaks and a whole chicken breast, and they all came out tender, juicy, and delicious. I would definitely buy it again.
