It takes 2 hours to assemble the overhangIt comes with all the parts and is fairly easy to assemble, but it requires at least two people and some time to build. It is fairly stable, but needs to be anchored to concrete to prevent wind damage.

I am satisfiedMy husband and 16 year old daughter spent one day in the sweltering heat to get it done. We have only had it for four days to see how long it lasts. So far it has worked exactly as expected, arrived quickly and was easy to put together.

Excellent gazebo. High quality, very stable and sturdy both at the bottom and vertically.It turned out great. I installed it on my second floor patio. Everything arrived safe and sound. Overall, it took me about 6-8 hours to put it together myself. Although I am quite handy, I think good organization is what this gazebo needs the most. Here are my tips for building it: #1 - Set up the area where you will be assembling everything. I recommend laying out 4 pieces of wood in parallel about 3 feet apart. This will allow you to easily assemble the posts and beams without having to drag them across the ground or concrete. #2 - Organize the pieces alphabetically. #3 Lay out all of the posts before you start assembling. I find this speeds up the final assembly. #4 Pay attention to the holes in the posts to make sure you don't put anything upside down. #5 Make sure you mount it on a secure vertical surface where you can securely attach the legs and use the brackets provided to secure the legs. If you don't secure it both on the feet and vertically, it will fail and it will be your fault, not the company's. Take your time and you won't regret it.

Good priceI really like this pergola, it's lightweight and we may replace a few of the screws with longer screws in the future. It works great and was quick to put together. We poured a foot deep concrete base for it. We added a tie rod to hold it open when not in use (it's so windy in Colorado in the spring and the shade always floats out). I appreciate the little holes for drainage. Overall it looks great, functions well, and was a great price.

Recommended for your patioPerfect for a patio shelter. The instructions were easy to follow and you definitely don't need two people to help. Looking forward to hanging our lights and plants and creating the wonderful retreat we've always dreamed of! Will definitely buy again!

Metal gazeboAll the parts are in the box which is nice and it also comes with some extra hardware/covers. The only thing that bothered me was the size. It's a little smaller in length and width than shown. That's not the biggest issue. Also, all 4 of the bases that you bolt them to were bent and I had to bend them back to 90 degrees. That's not the biggest issue either but it's better than broken. But other than that I've been happy with it so far. One thing it should have is something to keep it from sliding around when the top cover is in the retracted position. I've been using a bungee cord wrapped around it to keep the wind from blowing it around. It does have a slight wobble once it's assembled and bolted down but what else would you expect from this thin metal with minimal support. Great deal for the price!!

Zero Regretshad been eyeing this patio awning for years and saved up to buy one. I was super nervous when I bought this, especially since I needed to be home for the delivery. I took half a day off work to be there for the afternoon delivery. The delivery guys were awesome and helped me carry the boxes to my backyard. There was no way I could have carried those boxes by myself. There were four boxes. My parents came to visit and helped me put the awning up. It took about three days. I needed to add a concrete base to one of the legs, so that was part of the installation process. The instructions for installing the blinds were not very clear and we had to take it apart and put it back together several times. We also had to take apart and flip one side of the top post of the frame, which added to our time, so I wish they had better marked it for those of us who have trouble with assembly, but we got it done in the end. Assembly difficulties aside, I love this awning. I feel like it has enhanced the space in my backyard and I can sit comfortably on my backyard patio rain or shine. I closed the blinds today and sat outside in a drizzling rain while my cat strolled around the rain-soaked yard (he's obviously a water cat) and surprisingly no water dripped on me. I haven't tried it in heavy rain yet, but we don't get a lot of rain. We do get some strong winds here, so my plan is to open the blinds when the wind picks up, because it seems like the anchors aren't doing the job they should (I don't think the concrete is strong enough in some parts of my patio because the anchors/bolts keep spinning). Definitely rent a drill to secure the foundation, my battery-powered one won't work, but we only had to rent it for an hour. We probably could have done it with two people, but three would be more feasible. Four would be great, and maybe a third ladder would be needed. The assembly process wasn't complicated/difficult, but the whole process was definitely exhausting. Worth every moment. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Sturdy and easy to assembleFor the price, this gazebo is a real steal. I'm a 43 year old mom and my kids and I put it up in one afternoon. Since we have a brick patio, I didn't want to pour any permanent soil on it to hold the gazebo in place, so decided to weigh it down in a pot with rocks and dirt. We recently had a microburst that knocked down several trees in our yard and completely collapsed the trampoline, but the gazebo didn't budge. I used two bungee cords to secure it to the sides of the gazebo and used carabiners to secure the straps to the frame/lights. When I open the gazebo, I use the pull cords around the frame and then secure it with the same carabiner since the magnets on the gazebo aren't very strong. I like the design of being able to pull the top open when I want to have a fire and when I want to lounge outside during the day. It would be even better if there were some eyelets to drain the water off the top of the gazebo when it rains.

Looks and functions great!was worried about how to put it together, but it took my son and I about 4 hours to put it together. We had the help of another friend when it came to actually putting it together. When you get to this step, it's best to have three people working together to prevent the post from collapsing when attaching the top piece. The video that comes with the product is very helpful. The hardest part of the assembly was the plastic sleeves around the posts, which are supposed to be tight to protect the seam between the top and bottom of the posts, but it was a hassle to get the top piece into them correctly, and a small flat head screwdriver and muscle power to push the top of the post down finally worked. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to assemble. When not in use, I keep it closed and use a bungee cord to keep the canopy from blowing open. The magnets that keep the canopy from rolling back hold up pretty well in a steady breeze. Make sure to follow the instructions and make sure there are no gaps when screwing together the top rails that hold the rollers. It opens and closes very smoothly if done correctly. Overall, I'm very happy with this gazebo and the shade it provides makes our patio much more practical. Hopefully I'll be able to order a new canopy for this gazebo when it eventually needs replacing, as we get a lot of sunshine on our side of the house so parasols and gazebo canopies need to be replaced about every other year due to UV damage.

Finally some shade on my patioIt was fairly simple to put together but took my three grandkids, as well as my son and daughter, 3 hours to complete. I am very happy with the end result though. Great product, great value, and Amazon shipped very quickly.

Big and solid.bought this to hang over my hot tub from the hot southern Arizona sun. It works fine, but you need to be careful when setting it up and take into account the wind direction at the time to avoid it turning into a giant kite. With that in mind, it's easy to assemble (only two people and a ladder) and looks very nice. It provides plenty of shade. I hope the fabric will last a few years in this sun. It's great that the shade can be easily retracted on windy days. (On windy days, I also use a few ropes to tie the retracted shade to prevent it from opening and blowing away.)

Q: Can this pergola be anchored to concrete entainment area. Can be used as permanent pergola. Will it handle wind or is to light. I purchased other gazebo wind rips covers blues them over fence onto next door nieghours house.
