Good umbrella that rotatesGood umbrella. Seems like it is quite sturdy and I love that it rotates.;My only complaint is that the base can’t be used with water as it is not watertight so it’s useless unless you want to fill it with sand but as noted in other reviews, that’s very awkward. It should not be advertised as compatible with filling it with water. It’s in a pretty sheltered spot so I am weighting the metal stand with bricks which should keep it in place.

A summer must have! love itWorth the money! I’ve been using this umbrella for a couple of weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the best additions to our backyard setup. It gives such great shade -- big enough to cover our whole patio table, and it really makes sitting outside so much more enjoyable, even on hot days.;It feels super sturdy (we did fill the base with sands for extra weight), and I like that it’s easy to open and close with the sand bag. The fact that it tilts and rotates is also really helpful as the sun moves. Plus, the beige color looks clean and classy -- it just fits perfectly with our outdoor furniture.;I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to level up their outdoor space for summer!

Stunning addition to our back deckThis offset cantilever parasol is exactly what we have been looking for for our back patio. It is made of durable materials, yet lightweight, and is easy to set up and adjust with the flick of a button on the handle. It swivels 360 degrees and has a wide range of tilts, which is a great feature for all-day shade. I love that it comes in a dark gray color, as it matches the exterior of our house very well. The price is very reasonable. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase the base separately, which is required or the parasol will tip over.

When installed correctly, the product is fantastic!This is a high quality product. I have been through two storms with 50-70 mph and no problems. I anchored the product to concrete and would highly recommend this method for best results. I would definitely purchase again.

It covers a large areaI love this umbrella. It's really big. When choosing the base, I ordered two different sizes. I hope the smaller one works. I plan to keep the umbrella in the stand all winter. Of course, not always open it, only when needed. The smaller stand is good for short periods of time when the wind is not strong. The larger stand holds the umbrella well. The umbrella needs to find its place and move as little as possible. The stand I'm using is very heavy, it's the largest and heaviest stand I've found.

Great umbrella!This umbrella is awesome!! It's huge and a nice rectangular shape so it covers a lot of area. It's easy to swing and has a cool tilt feature. It's top heavy so I recommend putting weights around it for security.

Great umbrellaThis umbrella is awesome! We've used a lot of umbrellas over the years, and this one is exceptionally well made. We're looking into bolting it to the wood blocks next to the pool so we don't have to use a giant base. But with an umbrella this big, it would need something big and heavy to hold it to, so we're going to put a few bolts in the concrete to keep it steady even in windy weather. The umbrella itself was easy to assemble, and my husband and son had it up in about an hour. It covers the entire seating area (you can see how big it is in the second picture), and since it's so heavy and made of thick material, I don't think it will blow over in the wind, which has happened to several of our umbrellas. And once the arms bend, it's almost impossible to open and close properly. This umbrella is expensive, so you'll have to be careful with your money, at least we did. But if it lasts as long as I think it will, we won't have to replace it every year, which is both expensive and maddening.

9x12 Cantilever/Offset UmbrellaThis is a beautiful umbrella, but there was one very annoying problem with the installation process. Once the base is assembled and the ribs are attached, you need to add the four corner brace extensions. They connect to the main ribs with little push button mechanisms. Three of the push button mechanisms were intact, but one of them got stuck in the extension. I tried for an hour to get it out and see if I could get it back in, but eventually gave up and used a stainless steel screw to hold the extension together. Other than that, I'm sure this situation is not common, and this is a very nice umbrella. Assembly (minus the individual parts) was very simple, and the instructions were pretty straightforward. It's literally a blown up picture of the umbrella with the relevant parts labeled. The foot pedal rotates 360 degrees so I can adjust the shade so it follows the arc of the sun. The umbrella opens and closes very easily, and the handle makes switching between different positions smooth and simple. The color is beautiful and matches all the cushions on my outdoor furniture. This is my third cantilever umbrella and by far my favorite because of its size, multiple angle options, and swivel feature. It is pretty large though, so you'll either need to bolt it directly to your deck or patio, or buy an oversized weighted base like I did. The base I chose weighs 423 pounds when filled with sand and water. The manufacturer recommends using a weighted base over 220 pounds, but the more the better because this is essentially a very large sail when the wind picks up. So, rib issues aside, this is still a 4-star product in my book. If it weren't for the rib issues, I'd happily give it 5 stars.
