This fillable patio cantilever umbrella base stand comes with 4 plates, which can perfectly fit cross bases (not included) of your offset hanging umbrellas. When filled with water, the base can reach a weight of up to 58 kg, while sand can make it up to 76 kg. For maximum stability, a combination of water and sand can increase the weight capacity to an impressive 94 kg. Besides, it is made of premium HDPE material, which can resist all weather, ensuring long-lasting durability. 4 plates can be stacked when not in use, therefore it would not take up much floor space for storage. Great stabilityI recently bought the patio umbrella base, and it has been perfect for my offset umbrella. Not as picturedThe product itself is fine. Hard to pick up and hard to fill and I think it might do the job. However tides not come with all that is pictured! All you get are the four pieces you have to fill with sand. There is no way to add an umbrella to this base. You have to buy a separate base and put these pieces on top! Not what you think!

Works well but a nightmare to fillI like this base because the design has umbrella crossbar going through the middle of the base piece. This is a much more stable design. It fits a Purple Leaf 12 ft cantilever umbrella perfectly. This is a big umbrella and need a lot of weight in the base. It also works with the umbrella base lever that pivots the umbrella. There is a circular piece to cover the center gap but I don\'t see how that can be put on without removing the umbrella crossbars.
The main problem with this is filling it with sand / water which was a total nightmare. The opening is no larger than the opening for a standard 12 oz bottle of water. It\'s also placed in the most illogical spot so that you have to balance it on its thin curved edge.
Get yourself a large funnel like pictured. Then cut a plastic water bottle (I used the Costco brand) to get the spout which will just fit into the opening. Tape the water bottle spout to the base. Tape the funnel to the water bottle. I could get about 6-8 cups of sand in the funnel. Then I poured water from a hose over the top to create the slurry which should flow into the base. This method still creates a mess. Doing it this way it should take 10-20 min per piece.Posted on

PERFECT!my poor umbrella took a beating the past few years - bags of salt and whatnot failed to hold it so it fell over and bent and whatnot. I decided to invest in a base and got on here to look at what was out there. the first thing I noticed is that a lot of the cheaper bases don\'t actually sit over the cross bars on the stand - they sit next to them and are held in place near the post with pins. this kind of looked fail to me, since they aren\'t actually supporting the bars so I kept looking. Eventually I stumbled upon this beauty - which not only sits on the legs, the sections of the base interlock for excellent stability. I posted a question before I ordered asking the length of legs this base supported but nobody answered so I took a chance, and was pleased to find out it fit perfectly over the base of the umbrella. I\'ve got it loaded with water right now and it\'s holding beautifully - I didn\'t realize how heavy 35 pounds of water actually is, and with the interlocked sections it is really stable. Great product!

Happy wife happy lifeI was using 12x12 cement blocks to weight down our large pool umbrellas and the wife was concerned for safety and not happy with the aesthetics. She bought this and I installed with water as the weight and it works great and looks great while providing nice round corners so the dogs and kids don’t get hurt.
