Easy setupSo far so good. I was a music festival stall owner and needed to add an extra tent to my stall to make a "lounge" so that my shop would be a bit more spacious. The vents on the top are nice. I feel like this will protect against upward gusts of wind, rather than being "caught" under the tent and causing it to tip over. I like how easy it is to set up, and that the canopy is clipped onto the frame, rather than being fastened with velcro like my other canopies (which ripped over time like my other canopies). It was very windy that weekend, but the canopy held up well. The sandbags that came with it sucked, and I knew that before I used them. I used them anyway because I didn't have time to order better ones before the event, but I plan to order them before my next event because I've found they don't hold up very well in sustained high winds. I sell at this venue once or twice a year, and sometimes get really bad storms, and my old canopy held up just fine (no damage to the frame). I'll come back and update my review if I get a chance to test this Crown Parasol brand in weather like this (assuming the sandbags are better and tied more securely, of course). But to be honest, I hope I don’t have to do a test like that again

SatisfyThe installation was a little difficult for me because I don't have enough muscle strength to get the pin into the slot. But the final result looks good. I'm curious to see how long it will last and how well it will hold up in the rain.

Canopies are good, sandbags are terrible.gave it 4 stars because it does provide good shade and has lots of velcro points. I bought this for my daughter who now works at the local farmers market to keep her out of the sun in New Mexico. It's always windy here. Some of the regulars at the market showed us how to put it up and it was easy to put up. The problem was with the weight pockets. Two of the handles came apart at the seams and two of them came apart on the sides. So I'm now looking for a better way to hold it down.

Great productDurability: I put this awning up outside my patio to keep it out of the elements. I keep it up all year round and in all weather conditions. I live in an area where it gets over 100 degrees for many months. This awning has withstood all kinds of abuse and only just now did I need to replace the top due to weathering. It should have lasted longer but my cat thought he could get off the roof by jumping on it. Due to weathering, he went right through the awning. I highly recommend this product. It was very easy to install. I am very satisfied. Waterproof: This awning has been through many storms and has never leaked.

Great tent - highly recommend this brand!We were looking for a canopy tent for an event and ended up accidentally ordering two different models from this brand - one pricier and one more affordable. This turned out to be a happy accident as it gave us the opportunity to compare them side by side. Both tents are of high quality - well made, durable and simple in construction. The lighter model has a less sturdy base and frame, but is still a good choice for occasional use or beach outings. The heavier premium model comes with attachable side walls, which allows you to create a completely enclosed private space or just use a few panels when needed. We ended up choosing the heavier one for more frequent and professional use. Both tents are top notch and we definitely recommend this seller and brand. The tent is heavy, but the included wheeled suitcase and handles make transporting it very easy and convenient. Overall, this is a great product!

Incredible item, terrible shippingThe canopy itself is beautiful. The light pink color didn't cast a weird tint on my market furnishings inside. It's incredibly well constructed and the one-touch easy installation was life changing. I was able to open it, install the canopy, and fully open it myself in about 15 minutes. Removal took only 5 minutes at most. I love the wheels and am glad I didn't have to carry it! Even on a hot, dry 85* degree day, I felt pretty cool underneath it and it was well protected from the sun. The only criticism I would have is the horrible shipping method they used. The box was damaged and they just dumped it on the front porch with absolutely no regard for my belongings or possessions. They couldn't deliver it in the first place because they couldn't get through our door (never a problem with costway deliveries). That made me feel really bad but I'm happy to report how much I love this canopy.

Large canopy with drainage holes to drain rainwater!spent an entire afternoon looking through almost every canopy on costway. We needed to replace our old canopy that was destroyed in a storm. The cover on the old canopy was brittle and about to fall apart. I was very happy with this one, it was easy to put up and was clearly well made. The best part is that the canopy has drainage holes! If you've ever had your canopy collapse from accumulated rain, you know this is a good idea. We kept the canopy up all summer long since we don't have any shade in our backyard, and I think this canopy will probably last for several seasons. Another reason I like this one is that unlike the previous canopy, you can purchase a replacement canopy.

Excellent quality and customer serviceAs someone who uses outdoor awnings regularly, I can say that this is one of the best products on the market. It has a unique bag design that fits over the folded awning and is secured to the legs with a latch-type mechanism. Two of the legs have wheels, which allows you to roll the awning for transport or even move it on its own once it is set up, as long as the ground conditions allow. Another reason I like this design is that it eliminates the need for the bag (which is very heavy) to come into contact with the bottom of the legs, which would normally cause damage. The installation instructions are sewn onto the outside of the bag. The instructions include warranty information, customer service phone number, and a list of replacement parts. Look no further…wait…there’s more. It comes with sandbags, heavy-duty ground stakes, and ropes to ensure a secure set up. I like that this awning limits the use of Velcro to four leg areas, while the rest of the area is secured to the frame with buttons, which avoids the tearing issues that often occur when Velcro is sewn into fabric. All possible pressure points are reinforced. Easy to set up by one person. I dealt with customer service and they were friendly and helpful. They treated me like my business was the most important thing to them. Perfect. I would buy anything they make. They have a customer for life…

Excellent canopy!!!We have had this pop up awning for almost a year now and it is amazing. Easy to assemble by one person. The pop up awning works great. While others were carrying some weights in their own weight bags at the farmers market, ours held up (trust me, we have had winds of over 30 mph near the bay). We bought the teal color and it is beautiful. Definitely much better than we expected. Highly recommend!!!!!

Good value for money!don't usually take the time to review things, but I felt the need to take a moment to review this product. I was so impressed with this canopy! I bought it for a craft fair that I'm selling it for. 1) I love that I can put it up and take it down by myself. (Okay, a footstool is required, and yes, it would be easier if someone helps) but I was blown away by how easy it was. 2) It feels structurally stable, though I'll definitely follow the instructions to use the included tie-down straps or sandbags when using it. 3) I really love how everything tucks away inside the canopy, and it even has little wheels to tow it behind you! 4) The price is very fair. That said, I haven't used it for a long time, but I feel like the seamless installation and removal gives me a good idea of how well it works. It really doesn't need to do anything else for it other than provide shade. I'm considering buying another one for my patio.

Happy CamperAfter seeing other campers using this pop-up tent with windows, we couldn't wait to order one for us as soon as we got home. We love it. It covers most of the picnic tables in the campground perfectly so we can eat or play games outside the tent. When we use all four walls of the tent, we keep a portable heater, some rechargeable lanterns, and a large mosquito lantern inside. You can install one, two, three, or all four sides depending on what you need at the time. The windows in the tent are great, so you can enjoy the view without feeling claustrophobic. It also blocks wind and keeps mosquito bites away. We love it.

Affordable price, good quality and low price!What a great buy for us! Pops up easily and the bag with wheels is a real bonus. So far it looks durable but I'll tell you later. We decided to buy one on the spur of the moment as we needed a small bouncy castle for a party - turned out to be a great idea! We just added 10lb weights to each end.

Perfect for pop-ups!!The tent is well made and can be easily set up by two people in 3-6 minutes. It doesn't leak even when it rains. It rained on the first day but it was great. It was very windy on the second day during New Years but the tent didn't break. I screwed it to the patio and tied the top to the railing with straps. We took it down on the third day because the holiday was over. The only downside is that there is no door if all four sides are needed. We put the fourth side against the house. I zip-tied a rain gutter on the open side of the house to facilitate rainwater drainage.

Withstood quite strong windsWow, this tent is a real hit at vendor events! I just used it at an event with winds over 20 mph and it held up like a champ. The addition of the sandbag weights was the icing on the cake - they really made a difference in keeping the tent stable. Not only does it perform well in the tough conditions, but it also looks great - definitely adds a professional touch to my setup. Beyond the performance, the quality is excellent and I was really impressed with how easy it was to set up and take down. Seriously, this is a game changer for event logistics. Highly recommended!

Worth it! It meets all my needs and more!This is so worth it! We use it when we play soccer to keep the guys dry or cool, and also for parties. It's easy to pack up (usually takes two people, but I can do it alone). The side sunshade is awesome! Very useful in the late afternoon/evening sun. It packs back into the bag easily, and I love that it has wheels.

Good customer service and product qualitySandbags were missing from the package - I messaged the seller and they responded immediately and sent the sandbags quickly. Unfortunately, this tent flew off after the second day of use. Although it went over a privacy fence, one leg got tangled in a light string, and ended up on a car, the damage was minimal. The tent only needed a small patch and a couple of the frame poles were bent. These were easily fixed and can be used again. Overall, I am very happy with the ease of use and quality of this tent. If I break it on my next trip, I will buy it again.

Easy-to-install waterproof canopyIt was time to replace the old canopy, and this one ticked all the boxes: waterproof and reflective. The canopy is easy to carry, with two handles on the side and a sturdy carry bag on top with wheels. Installation is easy, too—just spread the legs apart a few feet (no need to clamp the release lever), and push the center connector into place. Adjust the leg height to your preference, and you're done. The Velcro design on the side is perfect for the afternoon sun.

Ready to go, followThe tent is awesome, easy to set up (no instructions, it only took my husband and his brothers 15 minutes to figure it out! Haha!) Once I got it in (with instructions) it was 1-2-3 to set up, and just as easy to take down. Perfect for a tailgate party, you need two parking spaces for a tent this size. It looks great, is well made, and the canopy is super durable (trust me, it was tested while it was set up... you don't want to know.) It rained a little bit and we and all our food stayed dry. I definitely recommend getting some leg weights if you're not going to anchor it to the ground. It comes with a cover/box which makes it very portable. I think this tent is a great value for the money.

This canopy is easy to use and works great!This canopy is awesome! It's easy to put up, looks sturdy, and works great. It's easy to take down and pack up when you're done using it. I love the wheeled carry bag for easy mobility. It fits right in the back of our truck. The blue color stands out since most tarps are white, gray, or neutral colors. It blocks the sun really well. And it's great to use as a booth tent at trade shows.

Easy-to-install canopyBought this canopy for some shade in the backyard and it was honestly a very good purchase. It was very easy to install - only needed another person to help and it took 10 minutes. The frame feels very sturdy and the fabric provides a very good cover, especially on a sunny afternoon. It's perfect for weekend BBQs or just hanging out with friends and family. We even left it overnight (not recommended, but life happens) and it withstood the elements. What I really like is that it's easy to pack up. It folds up to fit into a very nice bag (which is rare) and doesn't take up too much space in the garage. Overall, if you're looking for a simple and reliable backyard shade product, this canopy is for you.

One person can really put up this canopyhaven't used this tent yet; I'll be camping next week so I'll use it then. This is the third pop-up tent I've bought. Everyone says you can set it up by yourself... not true. I'm a 63 year old, 5'3" female camping solo. I always need help from the campground to set up my tent. The day after I received this tent I took it to the storage facility where I store my camper and set it up myself! I love the button that lets you push it up - so easy. I had to get out my footstool to secure all the velcro straps. Doesn't look like the height is adjustable? The tent legs either don't extend or fully extend, resulting in a height of 7 feet or more all around. I'm not tall and don't need that height when it's just me and the dog using the tent. Can't comment on its rainproofing yet; I'm just excited about how easy it is to set up.

Easy to assembleWhen I saw the picture tag on the product, I was shocked because I, a middle-aged woman, need to set up this tent alone for an event. I read the reviews again and decided to give it a try to make sure I could do it. I could! I had a hard time getting my legs fully extended from under the canopy. The whole set up process took 21 minutes and the tear down took 10 minutes. I don't know if I'll bother moving sand on the day of the event, but will weigh it down with rocks or something. The carrying case comes with wheels, which I really appreciate because this thing is a bit heavy for me. I wish the case had extra space because folding the canopy requires an engineer or origami master, and I'm neither. The case handles are in a weird position - on the side. Other than that, it looks great! I'll come back and edit in 2 weeks if I feel differently after the event.

Sturdy, no issues, I love it!Great quality! Very sturdy! I used it on a very windy day and had no problems at all! It's a little heavy (which shows how sturdy the metal pole is). It takes a little time to set up, but not that hard once you get used to it. It's also very easy to remove. I bought extra side panels and they fit perfectly. No wear and tear so far (I've had it for over a year now and use it occasionally). If there are problems I'll update my review, but so far I love it!

Good, but 2 of the 4 items were slightly damagedThis is an older design with a heavier powder-coated steel frame and thicker canvas top, which weighs a whopping 50 pounds. While it's heavier than some of the other options, it seems like a reasonable trade-off to me for a more solid product. It can also be adjusted to different heights, with the lowest setting easily accommodating a 6-foot-2-inch visitor with plenty of headroom. The powder-coated finish is rough, and the plastic parts that move when opened slide easily. The metal tubes are held together by screws and thick plastic parts, and look like they will resist damage as long as you're careful. This means that two people are needed to open and close the frame, and avoid unnecessary force. Also, if the tubes get bent in a storm, you should be able to replace them with repair parts. While it looks like you can fold the frame and store it with the canvas, you still need to undo the Velcro straps in the middle of the two sides to fold the frame, and the frame will pinch the canvas, so I'm not sure I'd leave the top of the canvas in place. The canvas is difficult to fold evenly because of the side panels on the edges, but once it's folded, it can be folded into a long strip that fits neatly into the side pockets of the storage bag, and one end can be folded over. For each awning I bought four 10 pound weights (concrete poured into a plastic mold) to fit around the bottom of each leg to help stabilize the awning in the wind. I did not use the sandbags that come with each awning. I will add those weights to this post once I actually use them. Now for the damage. Two of the four awnings I purchased had minor damage when they arrived. One had a dent and slight bend in one of the crossover tubes, and the other had a tear in the storage bag near the metal tube. These things are heavy and really needed better protection during shipping. In both cases, the damage to the carton corresponded to the damage to the awning frame and storage bag. I ordered some special tape to fix the tear in the storage bag, and these minor dents and bends did not affect the opening and closing of the awning. Trying to straighten the tubes would probably have caused more damage, so I will ignore these minor damages. All in all, these folding awnings look well made and fold up. They are easy to move with two people, and they seem durable and are reasonably priced. Be warned though, they are heavy. Plus the four 10 lb leg weights I bought, that's 90 lbs total.
