Sturdy and affordablewanted something to store my kids' books and school supplies, so I chose this. Honestly, it's really sturdy and very affordable. Pay attention to sizeTypical pressed wood, but too small to fit anything. I'm looking for a larger shelf. This one is too small for my books, which are too large to fit. The build quality is okay, but not worth it to me.

Durable and affordable.For the price, this bookshelf is an incredible value. It's great, very stable, and surprisingly easy to assemble. Just be careful with the placement of the back support holes—I had to replace the outer panels near the end because I didn't orient them correctly. Even with that minor hiccup, assembly was pretty quick. Now it holds all my teaching supplies perfectly!

Just what I needed...This storage rack is high-quality and durable! I got the rustic brown one, and even though it's just particle board, it looks really like wood. Very good bookcaseThis is typical cheap furniture—particleboard with printed paper. Even so, the quality is good, and the assembly instructions are excellent. First, the instructions detail the parts and quantities. Each part is identified by a letter or a letter and number. The assembly instructions list the required parts for each step and include an assembly diagram. Be careful when assembling—turn it over carefully to attach the back panel, as it won't be secure until it's in place. Each shelf has five sets of holes spaced 1.25 inches apart. The finished product looks great. This is my second set. I would recommend it to anyone with a bit of handyman skills.

Very sturdy!!Durable and beautiful! This furniture set is amazing! It's incredibly durable and looks great too! I also love that the back panel slides into the furniture instead of being nailed in! I replaced two cheap bookshelves with this and was worried my books wouldn't fit, but after installing it, I realized how much more space I had (see pictures)! Warning: Assembly requires a lot of space to fit all the pieces! The good thing is that the top and bottom pieces come apart, making it easy to move them around and put them back together!

The cheapest hexagon wrench in the worldThis bookshelf assembled beautifully and feels very sturdy. Because it's tall, I attached it to the wall according to the instructions. I didn't miss any parts. Aside from one rather serious issue I encountered, the assembly process was about average compared to other furniture of similar quality. The Allen wrench is made of some soft, plastic material, so the head melted while I was assembling the bookshelf. I didn't overtighten it—in fact, I followed the instructions, which said not to fully tighten the bolts until the item was completely assembled. The Allen wrench was worn to the point of being unusable. Thankfully, I had a set of Allen wrenches on hand, but for someone who didn't, this would be very inconvenient. If you plan to purchase this item, I recommend buying a set of Allen wrenches (it's nice to have a set anyway).

Study and big, looks great!I bought this for one of my young children's bedrooms. It's in great condition and comes with all the parts! It was also very easy to assemble. To personalize it, I removed all the back parts and painted them, and she loves it. We're very happy with its sturdiness and spaciousness. It met our requirements perfectly. I'd definitely buy it again!

Good choiceFor reference, the TV is 65 inches. It's quite sturdy, heavy, and stable. I bought the antique oak version, and the color stayed true to my expectations. It's a good value, especially with all the coupons and deals. I wish it were a little deeper or wider, but it's quite good. It's a bit tall for a TV stand, but that's to be expected.

Good value for moneyWe purchased five of these bookcases from Amazon—two tall and three short—all made of oiled oak. All arrived in pristine condition, with no damage during shipping. The boxes were well-packed, and all parts were complete, with no missing components. These bookcases are constructed from particleboard with an attractive, wood-look plastic covering. It's important to note that these bookcases are not made of natural wood; particleboard is fragile and irreparable. Therefore, care must be taken when unpacking, disassembling, and assembling the components. The assembly instructions are clear, concise, and well-illustrated. Assembly was easy and convenient. The finished product is durable and beautiful. However, it's important to note that the wood-look plastic cannot be repaired if damaged. Also, the bookcases are joined by metal cams and hooks, similar to IKEA products, and require careful handling. The assembled bookcases are heavy and bulky and cannot withstand the wear and tear of transportation, and if the particleboard cam/hook joints are damaged, they cannot be repaired. With gentle and careful handling, they offer a beautiful appearance and represent a good value.

A very economical small bookcase, perfect for PCS moving.This is perfect for a military family who moves frequently! It's so easy to assemble that one person can do it. I love that it comes with a small screwdriver, which is handy when you don't have one handy. It's a great value. It has stickers to cover the screws and corner braces, which is much better than IKEA bookshelves, which I love. I recommend this bookshelf because it's affordable and perfect for kids who are still in that "we can't have nice things" phase of their lives.

Beautiful and sturdy at an affordable priceI bought a bunch of books, but I can't get through them fast enough, so I need a bookshelf to hold them all. I bought this one to put behind the sofa. Compared to other bookshelves we've bought, it was pretty easy to assemble. It took one person about an hour to put together. The instructions were mostly very detailed. The only downside is that it doesn't specify when to put the book cover in, so we had to remove one of the legs at the end before we could put it in. It's beautiful, though, and the metal rims look sturdy. I can't wait to put all my books in it!

Great small room organizerI recently purchased this compact storage organizer and am very pleased with it. It arrived in excellent condition, included all the provided hardware and tools, and assembly was very simple. The design is attractive and gives it a stable, durable feel, which adds to its durability. One thing to note is that it is quite heavy. It may require two people to turn it over after assembly or to move the box during installation. Despite its heaviness, the ease of assembly and overall appearance make it a very cost-effective purchase, especially considering its price. AffordableThis shelf is excellent value for the money. I did encounter a few minor issues, including a detached edge that had to be superglued. The cheap sticker covering the screws fell off after a week. The shelf itself is also a little wobbly—for me, the final step of attaching it to the wall is essential, not optional. Otherwise, it looks very nice, and aside from a small, easily repairable detached edge, the rest of the panel is undamaged. There are no dents or scratches, and it looks great. Assembly was a bit fiddly, but that's true of all furniture—otherwise, the instructions were clear, easy to follow, and very helpful.

Keeps me organized and the product is great.The instructions were super simple, and assembly was a breeze. I just received it today. It fits perfectly in the way I wanted it. It holds just the right amount of books, keeping them neatly organized. The colors are beautiful and look modern. It's solidly built and functional. If it holds up, I'll be glad I bought it. I wish there was a support bracket in the middle of the bottom to prevent it from sagging, which would be a hassle. I'll move any heavy books to the side.

Display stand price discountWe bought two of these bookshelves to conceal the blinds while providing space for displaying family photos and collectibles. They were easy to assemble and look great in front of the window. They provide ample space for displaying items, and the sturdy back protects the blinds from our anxious dog when we're out. Our only issue was that the screw holes for the last shelf on one of the shelves weren't fully drilled. While this was an easy fix, it was a bit inconvenient. Compared to other options we considered, these bookshelves offer excellent value. The shelves were nicely and protectively packaged and came with clear assembly instructions. The shelves are made of compressed wood fiber with a wood grain pattern and a faux wood finish. The legs are cheap plastic, so we wouldn't recommend placing heavy items on them. The shelves come with stabilizing straps to prevent them from tipping over. Our floors aren't perfectly level, so we might consider purchasing some leveling feet from a hardware store, but overall, we're very happy with the product we received.

Right size, good quality, right pricebought two of these bookshelves on Cyber Monday and couldn't be happier. While it's recommended that two people assemble them, I easily put them together on my own. Just follow the instructions and don't rush! A quick tip: these bookshelves can be combined with other furniture I've bought on Amazon, and the assembly process is similar. I'm experienced with this, but it was easy to get started. The quality is good, and the value is great. That being said, I think this makes them even more impressive. There were no missing parts, the packaging was neat and organized, and they even provided one or two extra screws of each type. (The screws and hex wrench were provided.) These bookshelves store a lot, and I even added some decorative items. They've been very durable! I've placed them against the wall, but I'm not worried about them falling over. I'll upload photos later, but I'm still unpacking and organizing my studio apartment. So for now, they're serving as storage shelves! They keep things organized while I'm sorting. A great product!

Very beautiful, but the feet are plastic and difficult to installOverall, I love this shelf! Its size is perfect for my studio apartment. I want to place it by a doorway, so I need a narrower shelf for a few books and other small, lightweight items. Aesthetically, it's beautiful. The wood itself appears to be of good quality. There's plenty of storage space. Assembly is quite easy, taking about an hour by one person. The only downside is the feet. They're actually plastic, and while they're fine, I think they could be heavier for more stability, as the shelf is so narrow and top-heavy. This also detracts from the quality. Furthermore, installing the feet was very difficult; I couldn't get the screws in completely, and the plastic tended to bend and didn't fit properly against the wood. I wish the feet were wooden, too, for better quality. Because of the issues with the installation and the feet, I have to give it one star less. Otherwise, I really like this shelf and hope it lasts a long time... ;)

Very beautifulabsolutely love these bookshelves and think they're high-quality and worth the money. There are many identical bookshelves on the market that cost twice as much, and after reading all the descriptions, I can't really see why the other bookshelves are so much more expensive. I originally chose the mid-century modern style bookshelves, which are sturdy, but Amazon wouldn't ship them to Hawaii, and each one weighs over 70 pounds, so I can't complain. I chose these bookshelves because they were affordable and lightweight, and I could carry them up three flights of stairs myself. I have to say, they're even better than I expected. Assembly took only 20 minutes, and the instructions were easy to follow. The rustic brown finish matches my other walnut furniture, and once the books and chatbots are on the bookshelves, they're barely noticeable. I haven't fully assembled them yet, but they look very sturdy, and they provide a special plastic strap kit for securing them to the wall. These bookshelves are more aesthetically pleasing than most cheaper options on the market, and the metal construction will likely be more durable than solid particleboard, which is prone to warping and cracking. If you have a lot of books or heavy items to store, you might choose shelves with metal bars on the bottom, but these don't. That's why they're so inexpensive. I created a small reading area in my apartment with a steel and fabric dresser between the bookshelves, and considering I only spent $100 on three pieces of furniture, it looks pretty good. I only plan to live here for a year, and once I buy a house, I'll put these inexpensive pieces in a guest room or office.

4.5 starslove this bookshelf! It looks so beautiful. If Amazon had a half-star rating, I'd give it 4.5 stars. I'm deducting half a star because: 1) There's a scratch on one of the top front pieces. However, the scratch isn't very large or noticeable, and I'm sure I could cover it up with a similar-colored marker or something similar, so I didn't bother trying to replace it because it would be too much trouble. The packaging of the bookshelf was completely undamaged, so I'm guessing it happened while putting the parts in the box. But that's the thing, and I'm not upset about it because it's an easy fix. 2) I've read many reviews saying it's easy to assemble, but I'm not convinced it's necessarily easy. I'm pretty handy with tools and have built a lot of furniture myself, as well as done some minor home repairs. I assembled this bookshelf myself. It took several hours, and some steps require a lot of arm and hand strength to drive the screws in. I ended up removing a lot of screws just trying to get them in. I thought using a drill would make things much easier, but the instructions say not to, and I'm usually a stickler for detail, so I didn't. However, if I had to assemble something like this again, I think I'd probably stick with a drill to complete some of the steps to save time and frustration. 3) Some reviews have said the sides of this shelf don't look very sturdy and like they might collapse, but I disagree. Once assembled, it seems very sturdy, and I wasn't worried about it falling apart at all. However, I'm not sure if it would fall forward if pulled or bumped. I have two dogs (50 and 60 pounds) who can be quite playful, so I'd definitely use safety straps to secure it to the wall, as I'm not sure if they'd play and roll onto the bookshelf or something else, and it wouldn't fall forward. My bookshelf is on a carpeted floor, so perhaps it would feel more stable on hardwood floors. I didn't like the large hole in the back panel where the safety straps go through. I didn't think the hole needed to be that large. I ended up cutting the circle in the back panel to leave enough space for the safety straps to pass through, then taped the remaining part of the circle back in from the back, making it less noticeable. Overall, I think this is a well-made, beautiful piece of furniture. I'm so glad I bought this piece of furniture, and I don't regret it. I'm sure it will last a long time. Also, a big thank you to the Amazon driver who delivered it! It was a bit heavy, and I was home alone at the time, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to move it in without taking it apart and moving it piece by piece. It was raining, so he helped me move it in and put it in the living room. He was really nice, and I'm so grateful that he went the extra mile to make my life easier!

Easy assembly and great quality!This bookshelf exceeded my expectations! It's durable, well-made, beautiful, and undoubtedly the easiest piece of furniture ever to assemble! I'd been looking for a bookcase-like unit to replace a rarely used desk and bookcase in another room of the house. I needed something that could hold my printer and books, wouldn't be too conspicuous in the room, and would look beautiful—and this bookcase has it all! The packaging was excellent; the bookcase arrived well-protected and intact. I loved how the parts were pre-sorted and labeled, and all the tools needed for assembly were included (a Phillips screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, and an Allen wrench). The instructions and pictures were easy to follow! The best advice—which is printed on almost every page of the instructions—is to not tighten anything to 100% until the entire bookcase is assembled. This helps ensure easy alignment throughout the assembly process. The specific steps in the instructions clearly indicate where to tighten it to 100% instead of waiting until the very end. The instructions pointed out important details, like ensuring the components were oriented correctly, and provided specific identifiers for proper installation (for example, "Make sure the side facing up has 13 holes"—one side clearly has 13 holes, while the other doesn't). Unpacking and finishing took about an hour and 15 minutes, and my frustration level was zero. I even told my partner I really enjoyed assembling it! The rustic look is great, the metal ends are attractive, and there's a hidden third, height-adjustable leg underneath the center of the bookshelf for added stability and support. The dimensions shown online were accurate, and it fits our space perfectly.
