I felt it needed protected from the elements so I stained and sealed it.We have a very small patio and will use it to plant tomatoes. It is not protected so I stained it and applied several coats of polyurethane. It looks great now. We will see how it holds up this summer.

Nice and Cute raised garden beds!I love these little raised garden boxes. Very easy to put together with drop in pegs. Will be very easy to take apart should I choose to do so. The dark wood color looks great in the garden. Hold the soil very well. No buldging out. They are small. But deep enough. Since I bought 5 of them, I’ve got a cute little garden going!

Good, but you need to mostly cover the giant holes are all the water will leak out.Good item but the water just pours through. After the fact I had to cover the holes in the bottomBecause the water ran right through onto my deck and the plants were bone dry the next day. If I had known that I would have covered them on the inside which would’ve been much easier. As it was I put some stone on the bottom, for drainage, so the roots wouldn’t rot. It would be nice if they would sell plastic inserts of different sizes so you can control the hole size Or just make the holes a lot smaller.
