GreatPurchased two 9 cube units for my 5 yr old sons big boy room makeover. We Love the look of it. My Sons dad didn’t have any issues putting them together. The cubes are 11 x 11 inches which means any bins/containers need to be smaller than that.

EXCELLENT QUALITY... not the best assembly instructions, thoI was pleasantly surprised by what a sturdy, functional and good looking piece this is!!
I like to think myself pretty darn handy - but it was still quite a feat to get it put together properly. The assembly instructions leave LOTS to be desired! (Like some *words* would've been nice!!)
A HELPFUL TIP: when attaching the #5 squares to boards #2, #3 and #4 - the photos don't make it clear which way the #5's should be facing. (I'd argue the photos actually imply placing them backwards!) So make sure the white edges are showing / facing upward at that stage.
Other than that, I have no complaints at all! It's a great piece, and I love that they supply the hardware needed to anchor it to the wall - so it doesn't topple forward at any point.Posted on

Functional and pretty sturdyI got this cabinet to tuck under a counter to add storage in my dining room. It fits quite nicely, with just a small gap. I like that some of the cubbies have doors, which open easily and have magnetic closures. It was fairly easy to put together (it took me less than two hours on my own), and feels pretty sturdy for flat pack pressboard furniture. My one complaint is the sides look ugly. There are 8 screws that go into each side during assembly, and they give you stickers to cover them up, which I think looks tacky. I'm planning to get some peel and stick wallpaper to cover the sides to make it look nicer. Other than that, if the sides will be hidden or you don't mind the stickers, this is a good piece of furniture.

Not suitable for larger itemsThe cube shelf with 9 compartments is well-made, but I found it a bit challenging to fit larger items in some of the compartments. The doors are magnetic and don't provide much flexibility when it comes to accommodating bigger objects. If you plan to store larger items, this may not be the best option.

Would purchase againI purchased two of these storage cubes and both were very easy to assemble! The parts were clearly labeled and the directions were easy to follow. My daughters love the magnetic doors as do I as it adds addition concealed storage for their rooms. It is very sturdy and looks great in their rooms.

Nice Space Saver StorageEasy to assemble. It took only one of us until the edges were added. Please use the wall anchors to stabilize it better. Doors (#7 & #8) keep slipping out and the medal peg chipped the whole. That's when one of us held one end (#7) to keep the other end (#8) together. Nice amount of storage space with & without doors. Price is competitive. Although, it was worth the cost to avoid fabric storage cubes. Lastly, we could not locate a California Proposition 65 Warning/Furniture. That means NO cancer causing chemicals in the wood or paint!
