THIRD UPDATE. Seller suggested glueing back on with rubber cement. I did so and it worked. Seller gave me a discount for my trouble. Four stars for the tray. Five stars for the seller.;SECOND UPDATE Cover came off the rotary switch. See photo. This switch was never turned beyond the off and high positions. Defective Warming Tray. I will see if the manufacturer will stand behind the warranty and send me a replacement tray.;UPDATE: Ignore the last paragraph of the original review below on this unit\'s HIGH reading. I was using the wrong thermometer. All I can say is that if the specs for HIGH is at least 212F, then a drop of water should quickly sizzle away. I never saw that. The rest of my review remains valid and I changed the stars to 5;BELOW is the original review.;This is a handsome warming tray but its performance is below its specs.;The instructions tell you to first turn the dial up to HIGH. That\'s it, nothing more. So anyway, always turn the knob to HIGH before you set it to any other value. Ignore the settings between OFF and LOW. All of these settings appear to be OFF.;The specifications for LOW are 86-113F, I measured the surface of the tray and found LOW to be 93F which is barely warm. Instead, I like to start with the knob set at 12 o\'clock which, at 103F, is too hot to touch.;The specs for HIGH are 212-248F. I left the tray on HIGH for half an hour and it could only reach 140F. Way lower than the specs. I may have a faulty unit which needs to be returned.
