If you need a chair that is easy to assemble, this is it.Assembly was quick and easy, which is great since I don't have a lot of arm strength. Best of all, it's incredibly comfortable to sit on for hours. It can be moved around the room without any problems, even on carpet. I'm very happy with this purchase. No regrets, it's an excellent value.

Very comfortable and easy to assembleBefore I bought this office chair for my home office, I never imagined a chair could be so great. Initially, I thought any mid-range ergonomic chair would do. But with this new chair, I can sit all day without feeling uncomfortable. The backrest is super cool—literally! It's breathable, so I don't break out in a sweat on hot days. The built-in lumbar support presses my lower back just where it needs it, allowing me to sit upright without any effort. All the adjustment levers are easy to find and move, so I can adjust the height or tilt in seconds. My favorite feature is the reversible armrests, as I sometimes like to tuck them away while I'm drawing or holding a book. The wheels roll smoothly on both the hardwood and carpet floors in my room without leaving any marks. Plus, the whole chair feels very sturdy and will last for years. Assembly took me less than half an hour, and the instructions are very clear. Overall, this chair has made studying much more comfortable. I'm really looking forward to doing homework now!

Well-made chair at a great priceMy husband installed it in 30 minutes. He said it was the easiest chair to assemble. Perhaps we could get a chair with the right bolts and joints. I found the arched back supportive. The cushions felt just right: not too soft, not too hard. It's easy to move from one workspace to another. The price is good, too. I hope it lasts for years. I'm a petite woman, and I'm worried it might be too small for someone taller or larger.

Perfect for petites - elegant, comfortable, and well-designedWe picked this chair for "Little Mom"—our 5-foot-tall matriarch—who needed an office chair that was supportive but not too large or awkward. Most chairs are designed for taller people, making them bulky or uncomfortable. This chair? It fit the bill. First impression: Installation was incredibly easy right out of the box. All tools were included, even extra screws—a small but thoughtful touch that saved us fussing in case we lost a screw. The upholstery and frame felt more luxurious than expected for the price. Usage scenario: This is now her daily spot for planning garden projects, catching up on emails, and enjoying her morning coffee. The size is ideal for someone smaller—her feet don't stretch out or dangle. Performance observations: The seat cushion is a good size—supportive but not stiff. The height-to-width ratio is perfect for petite users. The wheels glide smoothly, and the swivel function allows her to easily maneuver between desk and side table. Pros: Ideal size for petites (finally!). Quick and easy installation, with included extra hardware. Aesthetic design—it doesn't feel like an "office chair." Supportive cushions, but not bulky. Cons: Not suitable for tall or larger individuals—this is a chair for small to medium users. The armrests aren't adjustable, but the placement is good for smaller users. Durability/Quality Notes: It feels sturdy, even on tile floors. The materials (fabric and stitching) seem to hold up for now—but the true test will be how it performs after months of daily use. We'll update this review if the quality declines or anything breaks down over time. Value for money: If you're buying for a petite person, this is definitely worth the money. We've paid more for chairs that didn't fit as well. Packaging and Instructions: Clear, compact, and gift-worthy. Nothing was missing, nothing confusing. Even the tools were sturdy—not your typical cheap, disposable items. Solution or Tip: If you're hesitant about size, measure first. This chair is perfect for people under 5'4"—taller individuals may need a deeper seat. Bottom line: This isn't just a chair—it improves our petite woman's everyday comfort. It's stylish, practical, and finally, a chair that works for her. We'll update our experience with it in a few months.

Much better than my previous gaming chair.Honestly, it was easy to install and very durable. The backrest and seat are very comfortable, and it's very quiet when you move around, unlike gaming chairs. I love it so much that I bought the black mesh model and my wife got the pink one.

Great mesh chairThe armrests on my previous mesh office chair broke, so I needed a new one. I love the headrest and reversible armrests, which perfectly support my back, hips, and arms. The breathable mesh seat is spacious and comfortable, making it comfortable even for long work sessions. The reclining function allows me to seamlessly switch between work and leisure. Assembly was a breeze; with the clear instructions and included tools, I had it done in just 15 minutes—no sweat. Whether working, studying, or gaming, this chair is comfortable and offers qualities I didn't have in my previous chair. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, ergonomic office chair.

Super comfortable and sturdy – perfect for extended use!love this office chair! I work at my desk for over eight hours a day, and this chair is a true joy. The mesh backrest keeps me cool and comfortable even on hot days, and the lumbar support is a real help for my lower back. The high back and adjustable headrest allow me to comfortably lean back and relax during breaks. The chair feels very sturdy and durable, and I can tell it can handle more weight without wobbling. I also love that the armrests flip up for extra room when needed. The wheels roll smoothly, and assembly was easy. Overall, this chair is an excellent value—it's stylish, supportive, and well-made. I highly recommend it to anyone who works long hours at a desk or is an avid gamer!

A sturdy chair for everyday workThis is my third chair in three years, and every one has been flawless. No issues at all. They're sturdy, made of high-quality materials, and provide excellent back support. I spend long hours at my desk, and these chairs make it easier to get through the day without feeling stiff or tired. Installation is quick and easy. No fiddling with complicated parts or spending hours reading instructions. For the price, it's an incredible value. Comfortable, durable, reliable—pretty much everything you'd expect from an office chair, and at a great price.

Affordable and compact office chairlove it and have it in my home office! I have to say, it's a shame it doesn't recline as advertised. It was also pretty easy to assemble, which is nice, and the color makes it look nice in the office. When I was looking for a chair, I saw a review saying it was small, and honestly, it's not very wide, so I'd keep that in mind if you're looking for a chair that's comfortable. Overall, the size is perfect—not too big—and it's very comfortable. As mentioned, my only complaint is that I can't lean back in it. It says to pull the lever (which lowers and raises it, which works great), but it doesn't actually tilt at all.

My review after owning this chair for a yearIt's been over a year since I bought this chair, and I've decided to write my review now. My experience with it has been generally positive. It's not the best chair on the market, but considering its price and availability, I'd say it's a good value. A few pros worth mentioning: • Adjustability • Comfortable cushion • Lightweight and easy to move. A few cons worth mentioning: • No recline function—you can only "rock forward and backward," and you have to twist the underside of the seat to adjust the sensitivity—which I found tedious, tiring, and time-consuming. • Honestly, the headrest isn't the best and kind of pushes your head forward—while it's adjustable, it's still not as comfortable as I'd like. • The cushion eventually wears out—but not too much, and it's still comfortable, but I'm starting to feel the need to change my sitting position more over time. As mentioned before, this is a good chair—especially considering the price. Personally, I like the chair; it encourages you to sit upright, but naturally, it can get tiring after a while. Even so, sitting in an unintended position can be the most comfortable position. The chair doesn't get too hot, which is also nice. It would be perfect if the chair could actually recline. The height adjustment is quite good, too. Assembly was easy and didn't take too long. Overall, I recommend this chair if you need a comfortable, affordable chair that doesn't require reclining.

Study Office Chair - Perfect for my home officeWhen I first set up my home office, I thought any mid-range ergonomic chair would do. After months of back pain and discomfort, I realized I needed to be more discerning. This office chair looks great, and I've been using it for several workdays. The mesh backrest is very breathable, a feature I didn't realize I was missing until summer arrived. The lumbar support is just right. The adjustments are intuitive, and each lever feels sturdy. I especially like the reversible armrests, especially when I need some room to move around at my desk. Besides the comfort, I'm also impressed with its construction. The casters glide effortlessly across my hardwood floors without scratching them, even with daily use.

costway Basics Office ChairThis was my first time assembling an office chair, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to put together. All the parts connected securely, and the materials were high-quality and affordable. The overall design was beautiful, comfortable, the materials were easy to clean, the chair was easy to move, the colors were beautiful, the weight was solid, and the height was adjustable.

Very practicalThis chair is incredibly comfortable. I like it because the seat is adjustable, allowing me to keep my knees at a comfortable 90-degree angle. I'm 5 1/2 inches tall, and many standard chairs are too deep for me. The seat is also very well padded. The back support is excellent, especially when locked in the upright position. It looks stylish and modern, and it's also very sturdy and durable.

Feels sturdy and well-madeI've been working from home and needed a chair that wouldn't leave me sore by lunchtime. I've been using this chair for a few weeks and can already feel the difference. The supportive back allows me to sit upright without feeling stiff. I'm about 5'9" (175 cm), and the chair's height and depth are perfect. Assembly was very simple; I put it together myself in less than half an hour. The wheels roll smoothly on both carpet and wood floors, and the armrests are sturdy enough to lean on while typing or relaxing. I typically sit in it for 7 to 8 hours a day, without the constant moving around I had with my old chair. I absolutely love it!

Very satisfied!bought this chair for my study nook because I needed something more comfortable than a regular office chair, and it's exactly what I was looking for. The design is simple and clean. It's comfortable for long study sessions or extended laptop work. I don't feel stiff or sore after sitting down, which was a problem with my previous chairs. The seat is very supportive, even after regular use. The backrest helps me stay upright without forcing me to maintain proper posture. It's a comfortable unit that doesn't get in the way while I work. It rolls quietly, which I appreciate since I often move it between floors. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble without any hassles. I also like that it doesn't take up much space while still feeling supportive. It's simple, comfortable, and perfectly meets my needs.

Great chair, well worth the purchase!A great chair for the price. It took about 15 minutes to assemble (in the office). I'm confused by reviews saying it took an hour. I'm a 38-year-old woman with decent dexterity. The instructions were clear. The chair has no odor (other reviews complained about a strong cigarette smell—I suspect it was returned by smokers who received a used unit). The chair is sturdy and comfortable! Overall, a great buy!

Assembly is much easier than you thinkThe instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the parts came in clearly labeled bags. I assembled it myself without any difficulty. The seat cushions are thick, and the mesh backrest was really helpful when the weather got warmer in the afternoon. I've been using it for reading and online meetings, and the lumbar support really helps my lower back.

It has features that not all task chairs havePurchased in early May 2025. There was some kind of one-day flash sale going on. I don't really pay attention to costway deals, but I've been waiting to buy a chair, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I hadn't bought a new office chair in years, and I had just started an online education program with a lot of learning to do, so now seemed like a good time. As of this writing, I've only been using it for a little over a month, so I'm still a bit skeptical about its durability. I'm a big guy, so we'll have to wait and see how it holds up. I originally wanted to give this chair a 4.5, but the ratings I saw were all round numbers, so I gave it a 4. If it's still easy to clean and durable after a year, it should be a 5 instead of a 4. There's no reason to lower the rating yet. I've only just started using it. It was easy to assemble. All the parts are included with the tool. It even has extra bolts and other things to ensure everything fits. Assembly took about 30 minutes at most. I wanted a task chair, not an executive chair, because I like to sit upright at my desk. It has adjustable lumbar support, but I haven't adjusted it yet. Because it was on sale, the "pink" one was the cheapest. Price was important to me, and this chair is in my home, so if color could save money, it was. It has a white frame, and the fabric looks more peachy to me than pure pink. At least, it's not a bright pink. Because of the lighter color, the armrests seem to show dirt easily. I specifically selected two work chairs. First, the backrest needed to have an adjustable tension function to allow the chair to "rock." Adjustment is a nice feature. Second, the armrests needed to be able to lift up and out of the way. I play guitar, so sitting in an armchair would be inconvenient and/or could damage my guitar. When needed, the armrests can be lifted up and completely retracted. However, this has a drawback. This means that the armrests are structurally attached to the backrest rather than the legs, so a larger person like me has to carefully use the armrests for support to adjust my sitting position or stand up. All in all, I found a chair that is still worth the money, even at a reasonable price. It's comfortable for long periods of sitting, and it has two features not found on other office chairs: adjustable backrest tension and armrests that can be lifted up or retracted.

Comfortable and reliable even for long hours of desk workrecently transitioned to full-time remote work, which means I'll be working from home from now on. I decided to upgrade my seating setup and invested in this fantastic desk chair. It offers genuine comfort without sacrificing support. This chair is well-made and features thoughtful ergonomics. The seat conforms to the natural shape of my spine, providing much-needed comfort while I work at my desk all day. The breathable mesh backrest maintains constant airflow, preventing the sticky feeling that comes with prolonged sitting. The adjustable lumbar support helps maintain good back posture, greatly enhancing my daily comfort. The reversible armrests allow me to tuck it neatly under my desk when I need more space, and the sturdy casters roll smoothly on both hardwood and carpet floors. This chair offers the perfect combination of quality and convenience, making working from home even better.

The first thing I noticed was the comfortI recently installed this chair, and it's more comfortable than I expected. The seat is thickly cushioned, the mesh back keeps it cool, and the armrests are soft for your arms. I also like that the armrests flip up when I want to move the chair closer to my desk. The chair's clean design makes it perfect for a small room. I assembled it without any help. The whole process felt very quick.

Great quality chair that fits my office perfectly!recently ordered this office chair to replace my old one, and I'm so glad I did! It's incredibly comfortable, even for long periods. The backrest and built-in lumbar support are excellent, providing excellent support for my back while I work. I also love the armrests, which easily support my arms. The smooth-running casters make it easy to maneuver around my workspace. The chair is also very high-quality, sturdy, and easy to assemble. Overall, this office chair offers a fantastic combination of comfort, support, and convenience.

Affordable chair with a low backAs expected, I bought this chair because it fits my height (5'8") perfectly and has helped alleviate my lower back pain. It conforms to my waist very well. The colors are also great (available in black and white). After a month of use, the headrest, seat, and armrest pads are now very comfortable. However, its sturdiness is the reason for my four-star rating for several reasons: the design and construction of the armrests could be improved, as they squeak and feel like they're about to break when I press them with my hands when I get up; the lumbar adjustment also needs improvement, as it's difficult to adjust. However, the lumbar support itself conforms to my lower back, which is crucial, so I'm thankful for that. As for reclining, the functionality isn't very good (for example, the locking and unlocking lever on the underside of the chair). I wish the chair locked when I recline, but I have to press my toes against the ground to stay in that position. I need a leg rest to do that. Overall, this is a great chair and it fits the bill perfectly...the price, the color, the durability, and my waist are all good. It only needs some modifications to be perfect.

No lumbar support, but other than that it's a great chairAs I said on the label, this is a great chair. It's very comfortable thanks to the adjustable height, and it's also quite attractive—which is important since my "office" is in my bedroom. The price is also very good for a good office chair. The armrests are quite stiff, but that can be fixed with a set of gel armrest pads. The so-called lumbar support is disappointing—you can't rotate or slide it freely, but I couldn't feel any difference. (I've been using a fluffy pillow, which is less than ideal. However, given these shortcomings, I wouldn't recommend it.)

Great chair – if you don’t use it as a lounge chairSo, this chair has a roughly 4-star rating on costway, which honestly seems fair—especially when you realize it costs less than a tank of gas in California. Let's keep expectations in check: You can't expect executive-level build quality for under $40. Many negative reviews say their chair broke, and—surprise!—this was probably because someone leaned back like in a movie theater recliner. This chair isn't for lounging; it's for sitting at a desk and pretending to work. People also complain about assembly: "The bolts don't match," "They're stripped," and there's even a video demonstrating this. But the instructions clearly say not to overtighten the bolts. If you torque them like you're building a battleship, of course you'll strip the bolts. Most of these issues sound like user error. People didn't bother to read the instructions, broke the chair, and then blamed it on the product. Follow the instructions and use it as intended, and this affordable chair does its job well.

After working for a few hours at home, I felt the chair was a great value.

recommendlove my new roller computer chair! From the moment I assembled it, it transformed my workspace into a comfortable and productive haven. The comfortable armrests are a game-changer—thickly padded and perfectly positioned, they support my arms perfectly whether I'm typing, gaming, or just relaxing. Say goodbye to stiff shoulders and sore elbows! The ergonomic backrest is equally impressive, contouring to my spine with just the right amount of firmness. It feels like a warm hug, supporting my lower back and keeping me comfortable even during long workdays. Even with extended use, I've noticed noticeable reduction in pressure on my lower back. The chair's rollers glide effortlessly across my hardwood floors, allowing me to easily switch between tasks without interruption. The sturdy base and adjustable height ensure stability, while the sleek design adds a touch of modern flair to my office. The breathable fabric and high-quality padding strike the perfect balance between softness and durability, and the easy-to-clean material is a practical bonus. What truly sets this chair apart is that every feature has been thoughtfully designed to fit everyday needs. It's more than just a piece of furniture; it's an investment in your well-being. Whether you're working, watching videos, or just relaxing, this chair delivers unparalleled comfort and style. It's an incredible value, even better! **10/10 Recommend**—your home office deserves an upgrade!

Very comfortableThis desk chair is fantastic! I use it in my classroom and it's incredibly comfortable. It was easy to assemble, and the box itself is compact, yet the seat is spacious and well-cushioned. It's sturdy and tall enough for my 1.93-meter-tall colleague to sit comfortably, and I, at 1.63 meters, was also comfortable. I love the mesh backrest; it doesn't get stuffy. The casters work well, making the chair very practical. It's quiet when moving and very stable. For a comfortable desk chair, this is definitely worth the money.

Comfortable, but takes a day to get used toI've read a lot of great reviews about this product, and it came highly recommended on another external consumer review site. The chair came in a large box that was heavy and awkward to move, but I was able to roll it inside from outside. The assembly instructions were very simple and easy to follow, and I had it put together in less than 30 minutes. Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the discomfort the first time I sat on it. All the reviews said it was very supportive, so I was surprised it didn't seem like a good chair. However, reboxing it was too much trouble, so I decided to keep it, and I'm so glad I did! It took a few days to "break in," but now I love it. The chair is very supportive and now it's super comfortable. It's a truly great purchase!

AffordableThe chair was easy to assemble and fits in perfectly with my overall setup. It's comfortable, but the seat cushions are a bit thin, making it difficult to sit for long periods, especially if you have back problems. The chair moves easily, and the rollers don't seem to get stuck. It reclines without feeling like you'll fall over. It also rocks, which is great for stretching your back, especially if you move around a lot. The armrests are a bit annoying, as they move when you don't want them to, but I appreciate that they don't get stuck. Overall, it's functional and reasonably priced. It provides a comfortable seat for your cat whenever you get up. I give it an 8/10. My cat gives it a 10/10, too.

Wheels are easy to break-updateIt looks great. It's lightweight and the perfect height. Assembling was easy. The chair is mostly sturdy, except for the wheels. I bought two within six months of each other. Both had the same problem: one wheel broke. Specifically, the plastic part that holds the metal part of the wheel broke. I bought one over a year ago for work, and it worked great. I really wish my previous two chairs had warranty plans! So, if you're considering buying this chair, be sure to get a warranty plan. Update: We received the replacement parts, and everything is working fine. You did a fantastic job with the replacement parts! It went above and beyond! Thank you so much!

45 minute assembly - a piece of cake. Such a beautiful chair. Before finally settling on this chair, I read about a million articles offering advice on buying ergonomic office chairs, searched for overpriced used chairs, and read countless costway reviews. Of course, an ergonomic office chair (even a used one) is going to cost a pretty penny, but I really didn't want to. I just bought it today, so I can't tell how it fares in the long run, but I can say that the components feel solid, assembly was simple, it's been *very* comfortable so far, and—more importantly—it's adjustable in a variety of ways, just as the physical therapists I'd read recommended. I'm 5'5", and to get the chair to an ergonomic height for my desk and keyboard, I needed a footrest so my feet wouldn't be dangling in the air. All the other chairs in my house need footrests, too. The headrest is great, the armrests are soft and comfortable, the backrest is perfectly supportive, and everything is adjustable, even while I'm sitting. The wheels are quiet and stable on the laminate flooring. The box was a good size and quite heavy (about 32 pounds), which would have been difficult for a middle-aged woman of limited build to carry down the steps of my apartment; however, the costway driver delivered it directly to my door. The chair was carefully packaged. Whoever wrote the assembly instructions for this chair (available in English and Spanish) is a technical writing genius—I've never seen clearer or easier-to-follow instructions. From cutting the tape on the box to finishing the chair, it took me only 45 minutes. Everything needed for assembly is included—including cloth gloves (to protect your nails, I guess?) and spare bolts and washers. Super worth it. If I had known I could upgrade so affordably from my previous garbage chair to such a huge upgrade, I would have done it much earlier. It's an excellent value. I rarely write reviews, but all the ones I've read have helped me make a great decision, so here you go.
