Very good outdoor ComposterHave had this composter for two months now and very pleased. Although many composting items inside (half filled as of now) I have not smelled anything when working near this in my garden. Excited about next summer and hopefully able to use what has been created for my garden.

LightweightLightweight, easy to put together and blends in with my landscaping. . So far I’ve just filled it with yard clippings and waste , so I’m going to have to add other compost material in and possibly enzymes to get it going.;I think it’s a good value for the money.

Product QualityQuality wise it’s good but I bought it in February and put it in my backyard. Regularly putting extra food stuff in it. But unable to stop animals to go inside. They made a hole from bottom so I put some extra safety now they made a hole in the bin.

Pretty goodYou barely need instructions to put it together. It’s a good size but it it’s not against a wall or something, you should anchor it in place.;My only complaint so far is getting the lid attached is not so easy. Not impossible but you do end up twisting the lid and squishing your fingers.

Ok for compositionThe plastic bend does what it advertises but the bottom sliding door is tricky. I find it difficult to close once I’ve opened it so I end up propping the door up against the opening with a brick… other than that it good enough to keep using.

Flimsy, won’t lastThis is a pretty flimsy unit with no bottom to keep burrowing pests out. It won’t last 2 years in the AZ sun.

Not very sturdyI have had numerous compost bins over the years but this one seems a little flimsy. The weigh of the composting material gets heavy as it decomposes and this bin tends to separate a little at the seams .the door also seems to be pushed outward bowing it out at the bottom of the bin and off the track. I have had trouble with the door popping off as it gets full and heavy at the bottom requiring me to shovel the compost popping out into another bin in order to reclose the door. Not the sturdiest bin I have owned

Simple, sturdy and functionalI bought one of these compost bins to replace two slightly larger wood-slat bins that had deteriorated after a couple of decades of use. I liked this one so much that I bought a second one. The bin is easy to assemble, although it takes a few minutes to understand how to bend the lid slightly to attach the lid. These are also better than the previous bins in that they retain heat that\'s generated. The one disadvantage is that they don\'t naturally get rain water. The lid stays open upright (an advantage for adding to the bin), but readily falls down to cover the bin with a moderate wind or possibly squirrel activity. Instead of rigging up a prop of some sort, I just try to remember to water the pile periodically.

It\'s hugeI bought this for my mother as a gift. It really big for it\'s price. Great look was easy to assemble. For sturdiness, it definitely needs to be place on a level surface like pavement or pavers. It opens with ease but you need something to mix the compost around or vent the compost.

Perfect!I can\'t imagine something being easier to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes...literally. Everything about this compost bin is 5 stars; price, quality/durability, ease of assembly, even the appearance. I judge the durability based on the thickness of the plastic, which is much stronger than I thought it would be. So for me, it\'s actually better than expected. There is no bottom, which is good because we want worms to have access to the compost. The lid can be locked down tight or just semi-tight, which my wife prefers, so that she can easily open to add compost materials. We absolutely love it! I wouldn\'t hesitate to recommend this to others.
