Quiet fun for everyoneam very impressed! !!! This product is a great value for the money. It is fun for all ages and the whole family. The most notable advantage is that it runs quietly. It is durable, easy to assemble, and looks great in our playroom. I have purchased balls of all sizes and it accommodates them all. If installed correctly, it's funThe installation process took a bit of adjusting and trying, but now it's secure and my kids love playing with it, they have shooting games every night. Why didn't I give it a 5 star review? First of all, the basket is larger than the average indoor fun basketball hoop, so you will most likely need a larger and heavier ball. The problem is that the stickers are not strong enough to hold it in place, and if you don't bolt it down, or secure it with yarn (like we did), the stickers keep falling off. Secondly, it doesn't come with a ball, so you need to buy one yourself.

Use with the same brand of silent ball for better effectThis hoop has no back plate, which makes it less likely to hit the wall. It also has a locking plate to minimize movement of the hoop when a silent ball hits the rim. Installation is very simple. You can drill it into the wall with hardware or use the included adhesive. It is much quieter when used with other hoops, which is really nice. My kids and I have a lot of fun playing with it at home. It is very sturdy and can withstand the impact of most games. I haven't dunked with it yet, and I don't think it would hold up to being hung from it. But for shooting, it is totally fine.

High quality backboard and rim.It's really heavy! It takes a few strong men to put it up. Looks very well made. I wish they had told me that it comes in three parts: the hoop, the back plate, and the mounting frame. But the product itself is great and very solid.

Bigger than regular basketball goalLarger than most on the market and my 11 year old sons love it. Like others have mentioned, it wiggles a little on the door so it's best to add some padding or a towel.

This is really a good solution for people who are sensitive to noise, and it is a great toydon't know what makes this hoop called a "silent hoop" but it is definitely much quieter than any other hoop. I'm not so insecure that I wouldn't post a video of me missing shot after shot. But it's also because when you shoot the ball into the basket, you can still hear that it makes almost no sound...if you want to know if my shot went in or not...you have to go and see it. And you will see...uh, hear, almost no sound...well, I guess you can't hear it because there is almost no sound, but you know what I mean. It's incredibly quiet. I'm very sensitive to noise. My kids already know that I can't stand bouncing balls or any repetitive annoying noises. They're never allowed to play with balls in the house. With this, they'll fall over. They'll break a sweat machine and I'm never bothered by it. If you're sensitive to noise...if you're overexcited, you know that's really hard. It's just something she can't handle, and your loved ones know that it will cause us trouble, and I'm telling you, I can't stand my kids bouncing balls in the store. I can't stand things like that, I never could. But it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I can be watching TV and I still won't notice it, so this isn't just a nice gimmicky product. This solves a real problem for me I think a lot of people. But for me, this solves a big problem. I think there's nothing cooler than having a good conversation with your kid while you're at home riding or doing something else. These silent basketballs and silent basketball hoops are solving real world problems for a lot of people. But for even more people, it's just a way to have fun at home. I really don't think there's anything wrong with this and I highly recommend this.

A little shaky, but overall greatThe hoop is really nice, it can be low but not too high, I would say about 8.5 feet, the look is great and in my opinion it looks like it will last for many years, the backboard is very hard and won't really crack, it took at least 1-2 hours to make, it's a little shaky but overall 4/5, I would recommend

It's perfect for the whole family to use and won't damage walls or paint.This is perfect! I gave it to my 8 year old for Christmas and was going to put it on his bedroom door. It ended up being perfect on our basement door (just off the living room). The whole family can grab it and throw it around for fun and stress relief. It's a little inflatable ball so it won't scratch the walls or paint, and the hook on top of the door won't scratch the paint. We recently spent thousands of dollars on professional painting so I was worried about it, but it didn't break.

Reasonable price, good quality, easy height adjustment, thick steel, stable hoopBefore purchasing, I was a bit worried about the quality of the stand, but after installing and using it, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the stand was easy to install and the backboard was also vertical. When installing, pay attention to the level of the stand, which is consistent with the description. The steel used in the frame structure is very thick and heavy, which makes the whole frame very stable. The paint finish is perfect and the bolts and nuts are easy to assemble. The net is very sturdy and thick, and it will not move even if it is blown by the wind. SolidOur new favorite gadget! The backboard is not glass but some kind of plexiglass or plastic but it functions great. Pretty sturdy and the height of the hoop is easily adjustable, even my 11 year old could adjust it easily.

Perfect for a pre-teen boy's roomGot this for my 11 year old son for Christmas and it's his favorite. I was a little concerned about drilling holes in the wall, but we had a door mount that broke after two months so I wanted to find something more durable. This one is very securely mounted on the wall and doesn't wobble when my son dunks. It also has springs so when he dunks it doesn't put pressure on the wall but just bounces back. The adjustable height armrests are also a plus. My husband installed it in about an hour with no help at all.

Perfect for my son's bedroom!!bought this for my son's bedroom while we were renovating his bedroom. He loves basketball so I needed a backboard for his room. This backboard is perfect! A lot of backboards are too big for outdoor use but I needed one for indoor use. This backboard is just under 2 feet wide and about 16 inches tall. It's perfect for his bedroom! Plus it's durable, well made, and very resilient. Hang it on the wall and he'll have the interactive "decor" he wanted! Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a smaller indoor backboard!

Not bad, but no glow!It works just as well as you would expect and the spring loaded hoop is handy for dunking. But as for the "glow in the dark"? It does not glow. I used the basement light to shine on it and the ball all day before my grandkids were born and it did not glow at all when I turned off the light. I would buy it again but not for the glow in the dark.

Sturdy hoop with nice breakaway edgeGreat hoop for smaller indoor spaces. The hoop is a little smaller than I expected, but the removable design is nice because without it my son would have definitely removed it from the wall by now. If you are mounting the hoop to a stud (rather than drywall), use a drill to drive the bolts in as far as they will go, then ratchet them down. I initially used a ratchet to tighten the first two bolts only, and both broke halfway through (luckily I had similar bolts in my toolbox). For the next two bolts I used a drill with a Phillips bit and tightened them about three quarters of the way, then ratcheted the last quarter. Worked great.

Loving it so far!love the look of this and my boys love playing basketball with it! Haven't had any rain or snow in Ohio yet so we'll see. I hired two awesome craftsmen to install it in the garage and they spent hours and a trip to the hardware store to get some mounting screws and stuff.

Excellent quality basketball stand!We just had our 72" backboard installed about three weeks ago. This backboard is really nice and high quality. It is very very heavy and luckily we have a scissor lift on site that we can use to lift the backboard up so we can load it up. The shipping process was smooth and no issues at all. We will buy again!

Good quality, challenging to installGood quality and sturdy. Mounted above the garage. Son loves it and uses it weekly. My only issue is mounting it once it is mounted to the wall. I like how it fits snugly against the wall (which was the main reason I bought it). I don't need an adjustable bracket that is far out of the garage. However, it makes installation a little difficult because even with a ladder and close to it, it's hard to hold it and adjust the position while reaching your arms and hands behind the backboard to attach it to the mounting bracket - especially if you're doing it yourself!

Good price and works great!Very well done! The instructions were made to be as beginner friendly as possible. The diagonal brace on the back of the backboard does a great job of making sure the ball bounces securely off the backboard. The basket is of great quality. The screws are galvanized high quality steel. The kids can lower and raise it easily. Things to note: 1. The backboard has a side wall, and since it is plexiglass, it will eventually become brittle and crack, so it will be impossible to find a replacement unless you buy an exact copy from them. 2. The mounting holes to attach it to the wall are not 16" apart on center, so you will have to add studs to the wall to attach it properly. 3. Make sure the heads of the screws that will attach the mounting plate to the back of the board are facing toward the center of the board (see picture). If you screw the 4 screws the wrong way around, they will interfere with the pivot of the backboard.

You can practice anywheream a youth basketball coach and wanted a hoop for my nephews to practice their shooting form at home. This backboard and hoop can easily accommodate a size 7 ball. Mounting it on my training cage and pairing it with a size 7 foam ball makes this set perfect for practicing shooting. The hoop is very sturdy and the backboard looks great. I like the design that allows me to keep the hoop in place when I need to use the cage for pull-ups. I am having a blast so far.

Don’t sacrifice floor spacing for the center position.For the price, I give it 5 stars. Yes, I mean the backboard is a little flat, but it's better than any park backboard I've ever used. It's not bouncy though, and it's very sturdy. It's different from any rolling hoops I've ever bought in my life. The texture of the hoops is really great, just like the elementary school hoops I taught my kids to play with. My son and I love it. He still hasn't beaten me in a horse riding competition! Keep it up!

Great for young basketball playersThis is the perfect size for a youth basketball player. Santa is a master! It was so easy to mount it to the existing pole. No tools needed, just a ladder to reach the height of the bracket. I have taken many shots and played many off-court games since it was installed. The backboard and hoop are awesome!

The grandkids loved thisEasy to install and well made. The height can be adjusted by manually moving the backboard up and down. We set the backboard at 7 feet and our 7 and 5 year old grandchildren loved it. I bought the size 5 basketball for the younger kids. The goal is smaller than standard size so a smaller ball works better.

Nice design but needs different bolts for wall mounting.Great design and great quality! The width of the bracket doesn't match the width of the post, but I had heavy duty plywood so I attached it. If you're mounting it on wood, just use the 6 bolts, nuts and washers. If you're mounting it on a solid wall like concrete or brick, just use the ones that come with it. I did it in reverse. Attach the wall bracket first. Then the support beam. Then the crank mechanism. Then have someone on a ladder help me hoist the backboard up. For ease, lower the crank mechanism completely before attaching the backboard so it can be mounted lower. Attach the hoop last. I just used this orientation as a guide.

Game StartMy grandparents pool basketball hoop broke and I wanted to get them a new one. This project took much longer than I expected. I read some reviews about needing a new bracket to hold the backboard but I figured the old one would still work since the backboards were so similar so I was wrong. I recommend doing some more research on what bracket you need before ordering. I was able to get some extra parts and once I got everything assembled it worked great. It looks pretty sturdy and hopefully we'll get a few years of use out of it.

Great setupThis backboard even makes our house look nicer. The quality is great and the mounting kit is perfect. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who wants to build a nice basketball hoop. I didn't try other mounting configurations, but the rooftop mounting is easy and they say it supports wall and pole mounting in addition to rooftop mounting.

Exactly as described, or even better.Had some issues with initial shipping. Not the seller's fault, the contact number provided by Amazon was unavailable. The seller went out of his way to help resolve the shipping issue and stayed in touch once good communication lines were established. The backboard and mounting brackets are very sturdy. I couldn't believe I got such a quality basketball hoop at the price I paid. I bought it for my church gym and it has done exactly what we needed.
