Nice for shadeSeems like a nice pergola. If you’re looking for shade, I think this would be a good idea. I recently got a patio set and I feel like having a pergola over. It would be helpful. This way we can enjoy the patio set even in the sun. I like this has a retractable canopy as well. This way we can have Schade when we want it but if it’s going to rain, we can easily put the canopy away to make sure it doesn’t get damaged. Make sure you read all the instructions before you begin assembly. I will put a unboxing video with my review so you can see what’s involved. I thought this would make sense to have a few people to help put this together. Overall, I think it will be a nice idea for a backyard

Great for the PriceI like it now that it is installed. It was not hard to put together, just a bit tedious and a LOT of Allen wrench action. Do not tighten anything till you are done in sets. So your posts, you will still need as much wiggle room as you can get when you are putting them together. Same goes with your beams and everything else. There was one or two parts that should have been a different part, so the holes were in the wrong place. I have a drill press, so I went ahead and just made new holes where they needed to be and caulked the other ones so no water gets into them. Once it is all installed, calk all the seams. I know that seems like a like, but do it. It will prevent all kinds of issues in the future. I also built weighted planters for the beams, just to give it some extra weight.

Great PergolaI was able to build this by myself (except for a step or two) in a morning. I really like the retractable shade and the frame is sturdy and has not moved even through some tough storms. It looks great and I am really happy with the purchase.

Fantastic. Except for the instructions.Really great pergola. I put it together by myself except for the few times I needed helpers to hold things. Seems sturdy and looks great. The instructions are A$$. The four main square pieces have to go on the INSIDE of all four posts. They could have done a better job detailing this and other crucial steps. Otherwise I love it.

Great buyWe are SUPER happy with the price and quality. Pro-tip; ad gravel into the lower posts to make them withstand the wind /weather. I also added a self made “necklace” with Gera hook in order to hold the fabric back (when not needed). Good quality, easy assembly, we love it!
