Exactly as ExpectedThis product was just as I had expected. The sizing was exactly as described, and the materials are sturdy. Easy to put together. Since it\'s used for my balcony, extra weights to help it withstand the crazy wind would have to be added... just in case. Overall opinion, love it!

Not durable!Its good for the price but I wouldn’t buy it again! Like other reviews says they Dont sell replacement for the cover and it only lasted 1 summer! Got ruin by the rain n snow! Would give it a bettee review if they would sell a replacement fabric at least.

Rain is it’s Downfall 2024Getting the product was easy, putting it together was not so easy but not terribly difficult. I thought the finished product was great until it rained. I emptied it and it rained again. The weight of the rain is also bending the structure. I would return this item if I could send it back without the box.

Works wellAfter rebuilding my porch I’ve been making some upgrades to make it work better for me. One think I never liked was standing half in the rain while grilling. This grill gazebo provides me with shelter from rain and sun. I also installed some solar lighting around the perimeter to provide light in the dark. As I do with all my outdoor furniture with fabric, I bought some waterproofing spray to protect it and keep it looking nice. It works terrific and I love it. The space is a lot more inviting and functional. I like having all the extra hooks for tools and surface to set things down while I uncover the grill. The gazebo is plenty tall for most people. I included a picture of my 6’ husband grilling under it and he has a few inches of clearance to walk freely under it. The back is lower and I like how it tapers lower to help water shed off the porch, rather than down my back. The fabric fits taut and can be tighten easily if it ever starts to get slack with age. Assembly wasn’t too challenging, it took me about 30 minutes by myself. I built it on its side so I wouldn’t have to stretch to reach the high points and then stood it upright. Stakes are provided for anchoring it to soft ground. I used deck screws to secure it to the wood. It looks great and works well.

Absolutly not waterproof.The description for this is totally false. The cover is not waterproof. I put this up in a light drizzle and it leaks like a sieve. The frame is not bad and appears to be sturdy for this application, which is why I did not give it one star. Amazon should not allow venders to lie in the description of products. I realize that the tops of most of these types of gazebos are very cheaply made and only last a year or two. I was planing to replace it, once the sun destroys it, with a heavy canvas top. I guess that I will be doing that sooner than I thought that I would need to.

Works great... just not where we intendedWe live in a condo with a covered patio, but it wasn\'t quite big enough for all of our furniture and things, so we ordered this grill gazebo to extend our covered area. We measured the space between the wall and support column... this should have fit perfectly. Wrong. It was slightly wider than the space we have, so we weren\'t able to make it fit where we wanted to. But, it actually works out better where we ended up using it because it forced us to rearrange our patio and we actually GAINED room! And... BONUS... it blocks out more of the harsh Arizona sun this way too! We added a couple of freestanding metal privacy panels, as well as a solar light. Home sweet home!
As far as assembly goes... it was fairly quick and easy to put together. It took two of us an hour or so to complete. It is fairly light weight, so we\'ll need to get some awning weights for it since we don\'t have a place to pound the (included) stakes into.
As far as how well it\'ll last... we\'ll just have to wait and see. We do get some pretty strong microbursts and wind storms in our area, plus we have extremely hot temperatures in the summertime. We just moved into this condo and haven\'t experienced any strong storms yet... and, we may not even get the strong winds here that we did at our previous home because our back patio is fairly protected by other buildings and trees. I\'ll update my review after we\'ve had it awhile and have experienced some severe weather.Posted on

Can’t replace cover.Cover wouldn’t Velcro tight enough to repel rain down it, so it would gather and stretch cover. Also it is tearing from this happening.

Flimsy canvas top, but otherwise good for the moneyI generally dislike canvas-topped outdoor stuff, especially out here in Arizona because the material only holds up for maybe a year or two at most before the sun just degrades it and the material disintegrates completely. I went ahead and bought two of this canopy, however, because the way its frame is designed/shaped, I can easily replace the canvas top (which is paper-thin and very suspect to begin with) with some hard panels from the local hardware store later on and attach them to the metal frame with self-tapping screws. So really, what I purchased here were two FRAMES with temporary "good enough for now" canvas tops with the expectation that they will fail but, hopefully, the frames will hold up over the long run.
Assembly was pretty quick and simple. The instructions are basic, lacking any verbal explanation at all, but this isn't an especially complex canopy to assemble in the first place. First one took my kid and I about an hour and a half to put together, and that was with a 20-minute break in the middle because it was 114 degrees outside and we were standing out in direct sunlight without any shade; the second one we got whipped together in like 30 minutes because we were able to use the first assembled one for shade (already reaping the benefits!).
The ground stakes included with the canopies for anchoring them are way too flimsy and thin to be of much use for seriously holding the thing down against any kind of wind, not to mention they didn't even bother to sharpen the ends of the stakes into points, so good luck trying to hammer blunt flat points of tiny 1/8" stakes into hard, dry earth. I just drilled the existing holes in the bases of the legs out to a bit more than 1/4" and hammered some beefy 10" long 1/4" diameter tent stakes through there, and NOW it feels secure.
Again, the included canvas top is absolutely paper-thin and, while the Velcro loops make it super quick and easy to attach to the frame, I have very little faith that anything more than a 20 mph wind will rip this stuff apart in short order. Being that we're in the middle of monsoon season and haven't even had a single good storm yet, I'm sure we'll soon find out for sure. (I'll update this review if/when the top gets tested by a good, windy storm.) At any rate, it's VERY easy to throw on the frame at the end, and I did leave the fittings a little bit loose until I had the canvas top on to make the frame flex a little so I could loop the corners over the frame more easily before tightening down all the bolts.
Overall, I'd say it's a pretty good value for the money (and even better that I scored my pair for super cheap on Prime Day), but you should definitely plan on replacing the canvas top sooner rather than later with something more durable.Posted on

Perfect size!I really like this canopy, it looks great and so far has been very effective in the wind. That being said there are a few tips I’d like to share..
First, make sure you line up the 2 holes midway down on the front and back legs to face each other front to back. It’s not that clear in the instructions, I didn’t do it and had to disassemble the whole thing just to fix that! Those holes are for the shelf and the hanging hooks.
Secondly, I used the sandbags (plenty to choose from here on amazon) to help hold the canopy in place. But, I put the large plastic bags you get from a department store inside of the bags and then filled it with sand, so there should no leakage of the sand if the seams get weak as some reviews suggested.
Third, the instructions aren’t that great, pictures only, no written instructions. Which is why I missed the proper placement of the holes on the legs. It does actually point to the leg with the holes but I interpreted it as pointing to the leg..
You will need 2 people to put it together, the pieces are just to long for 1 person to hold and screw into place. I hope this helps, it really is a nice canopy and make sure to spray some sort of scotch guard or water treatment on the canopy, I did this after it was in place so it was nice and tight and I could get the entire canvas.Posted on

NiceThe direction are ok, could be better. I don't believe the fabric top is going to last more than a year in the sun before it tears, and you CAN'T order replacements so you might want to choose a different canopy. It's very light so make sure it's staked down with something other than the stakes they provide.

You won't be disappointed.It fits perfectly on my baking sheet, and I'm glad I chose this one. It was solid and bigger than I thought it would be, which was good, and I added pool noodles on top to help the rain roll down, which it did. I would definitely recommend this one, which I assembled myself and my 15-year-old daughter helped me close the lid and carry out to the yard. I recommend buying. You won't be disappointed.

Good for a bbqI got this for my buddy as a house warning gift. He has a Weber Smokey mountain which is a charcoal smoker. It can work in the rain just fine but it’s better to keep it protected !
This requires some assembly. Probably a few hours to get it done. The instructions seem pretty clear and I like the design of it. I like the side shelves and the hooks for your tools

ImpressedGot this as a cover for my outdoor smoker and didn't expect too much, but man this thing rocks. Easy enough to put together with a second set of hands helping you. Super sturdy though I reccomend bolting down the legs or sand bags. Has survived a few storms now and doesn't even look like it has any wear. Strongly recommended and thouroughly impressed.

the velcro to hold on the canopy should have been heavy duty.My husband is super happy with this purchase. It was easy to put together, wish the velcro had been heavy duty for outside, it holds fine, but you need to watch it when it rains. Does a great job of keeping the sun off the person grilling. Would recommend this to anyone.

Exactly what I wanted!I am obsessed with this purchase! So, I cant speak on durability because my fiancé & I just built it (You must build outside, it did not fit through door or sliding door) It hasnt rained yet so I cant comment on design in regards to drainage... but it seems like its durable and the slanted design makes for rain drainage a good choice! It has held up well with wind, (and we don't have it drilled in to the pavers “yet”. We might end up doing that but we wanted to test its mobility w/o anchoring it. So far so good! I do plan on moving it into garage if hurricane/storm hits, just like i do with everything else. It definitely is sturdy so far. It fits perfect for my corner. Its gorgeous. I love it! Its exactly what I wanted. And for the price? Id purchase again.

Easy to assemble good quality!This is easy to assemble. Just need a little bit patience and make sure you install the post the right way. The quality is good! We did BBQ twice after I got this.
