Just what we wanted!It's pretty easy to install by one person, but it's even better with two people! :) It's very sturdy, which is exactly what we wanted! Also, it fits perfectly inside the pool and doesn't take up too much space to have fun! A bigger ladder would take up space in the pool.

OKNeeded a rubber mallet to assemble. Sometimes needed a few extra hands. The roll top is very safe and saves you from lawsuits if you don't have a fence. Used a hose to fill with sand, didn't have any. Had to bury the outside ladder to level it and then fill the holes in the dirt fence with pebbles. Highly recommend.

Plastic molds must be cut to install some partsShipping was fast!! I almost hesitated to buy it because it took longer than I expected, but it arrived in two days! It was pretty easy to assemble, I would have given it 5 stars, but we had to cut some of the plastic mold to get the parts in. In addition to the ladder being very sturdy and durable

Meet our needsIt worked for our needs. I wish the top rung had a platform so the kids wouldn't have to balance on the top to get from one end of the ladder to the other. But we built some stuff ourselves and that fixed that. Other than that, it's been great.

Excellent product, guaranteed by the manufacturer ... just a small glitch.It was easy to assemble, but right after putting the folding bed on the track, I realized I needed to screw the top rail together. Drill a small hole first, and the screw went in without any problems. The screw on the other side went right into the rail and didn't go through to the other side. I couldn't see the screw head at all and couldn't get it out. I emailed the company that makes the product on Saturday and called again on Monday. No questions asked, and two new rails were sent to me very quickly. I haven't taken it apart yet or put it in the pool, but as a quality product, I'd probably upgrade it to 5 stars!

PerfectThese pool steps are exactly what I was looking for. My previous pool steps were too low and you had to take a big step to get out without stepping on the side of the pool. These steps are the perfect height. I have a 4 foot pool but as you can see in the photos my deck is higher than the side of the pool. I assembled them myself during my lunch break. Since the sand is so heavy it took two people to get it into the pool. It looks heavy and doesn't float away like my previous steps did. And it looks beautiful too.

Great product!These steps, while still quite high in risers, are much easier for me to get up and down than a steep ladder. Sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble and secure to the pool patio. As long as we lined the sides with fine gravel, the steps did not float.

Sturdy ladderHaven't used it in the poop yet but I wanted to put it together since reviews said they couldn't get the pieces together. I don't know if it was because I lucked out and got a good mold but it assembled very well. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together with a rubber mallet. The safety cover is a little hard to slide on but I don't use this feature often. It's heavy and after filling it with water I can tell it's not a ladder and you'd have a hard time removing it if you don't plan on leaving it in the pool. The platform on the top is larger than I expected so I'm really happy with it! Shipping was fast. All in all I think it's good value for money.

Ladders and AssemblyThe latter was easy to assemble, taking about 30 minutes. A detailed instruction manual would have been helpful, though. However, after looking closely at the photos, I was able to quickly tell which end of the ladder's retaining knob ring was up and which was down. It didn't take me long to figure it out. I would buy this ladder again, it looks like good quality, and the paint should protect the steel from rust or chemicals. It hasn't been in the pool yet, but it will be in the future. If there are any problems with the ladder after the first season, I will write another review.

Excellent productAssembly and installation were easy. The stairs seem sturdier than any stairs I've used before. Good value for money, I love them and I'm not short. The handrails are a little shaky but I was definitely able to hold them up and it wasn't even as bad as I feared. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a safer staircase to their pool.

The ladder that never failsThe ladder was very simple to assemble but requires patience as it cannot be assembled successfully without following the steps or instructions. It took me two nights to complete the entire task by myself. It is heavy and difficult to lift and put in the pool, so I needed help. The platform is perfect, I love the width and handrails, and my grandchildren love to play "cannonball" diving on it. I felt very safe with the safety gate closed and locked. This is a great pool ladder and a great value for money!

Sturdy Metal Pool LadderWell made, easy to assemble, the nuts are plastic coated to prevent the screws from hurting you. I am 6'1" and weigh about 245 lbs, and it feels solid and safe to get up and down the ladder. Worth buying.

Love these stepsIt's great but still tends to float on the water. Other suggestions are to zip tie the plastic weights on the bottom step to keep it secured to the bottom of the pool. We are both in our 70s. I feel this would be safer than a ladder.

The needle steps are awesome!Easy installation. Works great for my needs for getting in and out of the pool. I chose the blue steps and they look great in the water. The steps appear well made. The handrails could be a little sturdier but I feel they should hold up to the weight of the grandkids.

Practical tips about no sandEasy to assemble. Based on previous reviews, we decided not to use sand. Helpful tip: remove the handrail first, place the rest upside down in the water, and install the handrail once the steps are filled with water. Also note that you will most likely need two wooden blocks to secure the handrail to the deck. Finally, once the installation is complete, you will still need about 25 pounds of weight to hold the steps down. We used a rubber hand hammer and secured from the inside (so it is not visible).

Fantastic ladderJust assemble it and put it in our pool. You have to fill it with water (we missed that step)! It is sturdy and I am comfortable going up and down. I am only 130 lbs and my husband is 200 lbs and this ladder is no problem for both of us and it is stable for both of us. We have installed the stabilizer bars because we haven't needed them so far but we may need them as the summer gets going. We ordered it in a warm grey color which looks more like a light cream? perfect for our pool as that is the color of our top railing. It is a little difficult to roll but we are hoping that it will get easier to move back and forth as the summer gets going. I love that you can lock it once it is in place. I feel a lot safer with this ladder as an extra barrier to get into the pool.

Main access deck ladder to above ground poolWe received the ladder and took it out of the box to inspect it. It's not pool season for us yet. This ladder has all the features you need. The deck flange is included. I didn't see this in the description so ordered two. It looks very well made, with molded plastic steps and the handrails are aluminum. We will need to drill holes in the ladder to attach the handrails once we are ready to put it in the pool. All hardware is included. I'm sure it will be easy to assemble with so few parts. This ladder looks more comfortable and stable than the one I have for my pool, and will be easier to take out for the winter. No more crawling under the deck to screw the ladder to the deck.

Suitable for swimming poolsRusted out in the first season of use. Rusted around the seams and on the bottom of the ladder. Thankfully the rust on the bottom of the ladder came off the bottom of the pool. We took it off and gave it a good scrub and also sprayed the rusted areas with a coat of clear spray paint. That worked great. Will see how it goes next pool season.

Its solidI wanted a ladder for my small Intex pool. I needed it to be tall enough to get over the edge of the pool but not too tall, and I wanted it to be able to support the weight of an adult. This ladder is more expensive than similar ladders, but has a much greater weight capacity. It was easy to assemble and is as sturdy as advertised. Nice looking and durable.

Very happy with these stairs!Our whole family loves our pool and some of us are older so we have wanted to add stairs for a long time. This year one of my sisters had shoulder surgery and can't really use the ladder anymore. So it was time to finally add the stairs. I read tons of reviews and decided to buy these. Although I have to say I thought they would be flimsy because the price is super affordable. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they are. First I have to say that the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of how heavy they were. To be honest we didn't even try to fill them with sand because other reviews complained about sand falling into the pool. We went with weighted bags filled with sand (bought on costway and very economical). We put a garbage bag inside the pool bag first and then filled it with sand and tied it off to prevent the sand from falling out. We used cable ties to secure the bag to the stairs. It took us 4 bags of sand and about 100 pounds total to hold them down securely. We put a pool mat (also bought on costway) under the stairs to protect it. Having said all that I feel these stairs are a great value for the money. They are very simple to assemble and are very sturdy. I recommend having a companion to help with the assembly, hold the supports, and lower the assembled stairs into the pool. The handrails are not for pulling, but for balance when walking up and down. We also added screws to the two parts of the handrail to make it feel more secure. This is not mentioned in the assembly instructions, but we felt it made sense. Another concern I had was that they would take up a lot of space in the pool. This is not the case. They are against the wall, but at the same time provide a wide step, which is very comfortable to walk up and down. Most platforms would probably be wood or composite. Ours are steel (kayak), so we had to buy titanium drill bits. We used two screws on each bracket and they are very secure. They have only been in the pool for a few weeks so far, so I can't comment on their long-term durability, but so far we are very happy with them. I would have thought they would be much more expensive than they are. I wish I had discovered them years ago. We feel that adding stairs makes the pool more accessible and more enjoyable for everyone. If you have been considering adding stairs to your pool, I have no hesitation in recommending them.
