Not a good scratching post. Poorly made.The structure itself seems sturdy. Problem is the carpet on the posts is super thin and not even firmly adhered on to the structure. Carpet scratching posts are the only material she likes to scratch on. Apparently she likes to scratch on foam also, she tore up her foam stairs I bought her which is why I decided to buy her this one so she can scratch on it all she wants. But its not gonna last cuz its so cheaply made. She is gonna tear it to shreds in no time. Other than that, it works well as far as the stairs. It serves its purpose to help my senior cat get up and down my high bed. Its just not strongly made to be a scratching post, which the description described. That\'s the only part that I am disappointed about.

Wonderful!!I have a 4.5 pound 19yr baby that sometimes has trouble getting up and down. I actually bought this for my 8yr old 20 pound fatty. I thought they were sturdy enough she\'d feel secure. Well, she would if she\'d actually use it. Lol. I\'m 145 and have stood on it to reach the top of my window. Very sturdy. And easy to set up. Well, except for the fact that I started at the wrong end. So when I got to the actual steps they were extremely loose. I felt pretty dumb when my friend came over and pointed it out. I knew I did something wrong. Lol. But normal people who can read normal directions won\'t have a problem. It really is a great product.

Very StableThis is the third set of steps I\'ve purchased for my senior cat. She\'s a small cat and these steps are not too far apart for her. She used them immediately. Makes getting up on the bed or her perch easy as pie.

Senior cat stairsI bought these to help my senior cat get up and down to bed since he can’t jump up anymore :( LOVE THEM! The height is perfect and he used them almost immediately! Now he goes up and down and it saves his hips and legs from unwanted jarring I used cat treats the first 2 times to lure him up and down. After that he got it all by himself they’re carpeted so no slipping and feet sturdy

Sturdy And Exactly as It Looks in Description.The only thing that I was disappointed about is the cat clawed at the posts the first day and immediately took a chunk out of 2 of the posts on the side. Most cat owners know they are going to use the posts as scratching posts, I only wish it would have been made better for this reason. Otherwise, it is very useful and works exactly as expected. Tall enough for my bedI needed tall enough stairs for our bed but didn’t want the base to be super long, these were the perfect find! Also not to heavy! My little dog took right to them, she broke her front leg and had to have major reconstructive surgery so I was so scared before getting stairs for our bed!

GoodGood and really easy to put together. The only problem with putting it together is that the bolts holes are too shallow and it made it take much longer than it should have to screw them in. I would still get it though because it\'s got a heavyweight to it in the carpet is good. In the carpet is good.

very cheap but sturdyIf you have cats that like to scratch I wouldn’t invest $55 in this, the material is very flimsy and it will be shredded in a couple of weeks. I’d like a higher quality one but I don’t know if they manufacture any that are better. Amazon is allowing sellers to price their items way too high, it’s not worth it for low to medium quality items. Is this what we sold our local manufacturers out for? overpriced crap?

NOTHING GREAT…I bought these steps before but it must have been from a different manufacturer because these are nowhere near the quality of the previous steps.
They’re pretty flimsy, the carpet covering the stairs is thin and my cats destroyed it in no time. The steps are wobbly with the top step being impossible to tighten. I wish I could have gotten the ones I bought before because these are not worth the money.Posted on

Fairly easy to assemble, stablePackage arrived faster than estimated. Instruction is okay, and it would nice to say to assemble the legs into the steps first. One of the holes on the base was off by 1/4\" and I had to use my drill to make it work. Overall it\'s fairly easy to assemble and it\'s stable. Quality seems to be good. It\'s the perfect height for my window sill. We shall see if the carpet will last.

Great pet stairs, order them.For $47 this was the best option I could find for my special needs cat. He’s a big cat and needs sturdy stairs or he won’t use them so they have to be wood. They’re tall enough to reach all the important places. Easy to assemble and all parts/tools were there.

Not what the older one was likeI bought one several years ago and wanted another one. This one is not like the older one. the steps are much narrower and the tubes holding the steps are not as fat as the older ones. I was a bit disappointed. It seems to be substantial but I really don\'t care for the depth of the steps. Too narrow.

Great for dogs tooWe actually purchased this for our puppy. She only weighs 2 pounds, and has a hard time getting up to our recliner, so we thought this would help. It definitely does. She figured it out right away. The funny thing is, the grand kids love it as well! I know it's not meant for that, but why not. It's sturdy enough for them to sit on, and they think it's fun, so when they visit they end up sitting on the stairs. High quality. Built to last.
