Extremely comfortable, high maintenance costsOverall, this Amazon Basics large bean bag chair is incredibly comfortable for its size. It lives up to its name—large and heavy, making it a comfortable place to sit whether reading or watching a movie. The memory foam filling provides excellent support, far superior to traditional bean bag chairs with bead filling. However, after a few months of use, I discovered two significant issues that prevent it from earning a five-star rating. First, the filling quickly settles, meaning it needs constant fluffing and reshaping to maintain its fullness and softness. That's a real chore! Second, the design makes cleaning the cover quite a hassle. While the outer shell unzips, you can't simply unzip it to wash it because the memory foam blocks are exposed. If you try to wash the cover, any debris inside could spill out, making a mess. The lack of a convenient, mess-free inner lining makes long-term maintenance frustrating. This is a wonderfully comfortable chair, but potential buyers should be aware of the maintenance and cleaning challenges before purchasing.

Large bean bag chairThis is definitely one of the most comfortable bean bag chairs I've ever found. It's so soft and fluffy, and the filling doesn't flatten easily. I could sit in it for hours. I tried reading in it, but it was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. It's an excellent value for the money. It's well-made and durable, and I'm sure it'll last a long time.

Better than expected!previously bought a giant bean bag chair (from a different brand) and wasn't impressed. This one completely exceeded my expectations. It took 48 hours to fully inflate after unboxing, but it's far better than I expected. It's sturdy but super comfortable. It's a bit heavy, so it's a little difficult to move. My puppy sat in it the day we opened it, and another time, 48 hours after opening it, it lay flat on the couch with my puppy sitting in it. It's so much more fluffy. I can lie in it for hours without my feet touching the ground. This thing is amazing, and I'm very happy with it! Highly recommended.

Excellent quality and comfortable!This chair is incredibly comfortable and sturdy! I read somewhere that it wasn't memory foam, but it feels very similar to me. I loved it so much, I bought two more! I followed the instructions in the box and left the chair out in the sun and patted it. This seemed to help it expand better.

Need another one!!have this chair in my daughter's room, and honestly, it's absolutely gorgeous. The color is beautiful, and the size is surprisingly large. I often go to her room to lounge there. It's easy to assemble—just cut the plastic wrap and shake it out. It's worth the money, and the fir tree in the corner is great too. I haven't washed it yet, but it's good quality, and I think it should be fine if I tumble dry it on medium heat.

Cutting hair for childrenThis color is so pretty. The packaging is great. I don't think it's too soft, but rather firm. It holds its shape regardless. I bought this for my 9-year-old, and she's very comfortable wearing it. I expected it to be softer or more fitted, but it wasn't. Now that I know what I'm getting, I'd probably buy it again.

Suitable for reading or meetingbought the dark green one. It's very comfortable and comes with a couple of throw pillows. It fits an adult up to 5'6", and my kids love it, too. It's also comfortable for reading. It unfolds quickly and ships in a small box. It's larger than I expected, but it's perfect for an attic or loft. The dark green chenille is soft but not too thick, and it looks like it will last. My unit has no odor and worked right away. It looks like a comfortable chair, filled with enough memory foam to fit a double or twin mattress. At $140, it's not cheap, but after receiving it, I felt the quality and size were worth it. I would highly recommend it.

BeautifulThe cushion arrived in a box that had been emptied of all the air, making it very compact. After opening it, we found it a little difficult to fit it into the lid and align it properly. It's a little bulky, not like a bean bag, but it does provide more structure and support. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great bean bag!This bean bag chair is amazing and big enough for someone my size (6'1"). It's super comfortable, and my daughter, my cat, and I have all slept in it multiple times. It can be positioned in multiple ways, allowing you to sit or lie down. The filling is firm, and if it gets too flat, a gentle rub will bounce it back into shape. I love it so far, and other people have asked me where I bought it. I highly recommend it! If I had to say a downside, it's a bit large, so it takes up space in a small apartment, but it's worth it!

Nice bean bagIt looks a little odd because the corners aren't padded, but it's soft (plush) and very comfortable. I'm 5'2" and found it comfortable, but it might be a bit small for taller/larger people. It comes in bright white. No assembly required. Just tear open the bag and it takes shape in seconds.

Buy this. Seriously, you won't regret it.I've been using it for two years now, so I feel fully qualified to review it. I ordered the 5-foot model, and at 5'4", I can comfortably curl up in it and watch movies in my "she den" (which I'm currently converting into a library/she den). My partner (who's 5'10") and I can both rest comfortably in it. I'm impressed with its durability. It's heavy-duty, has a pocket for the remote, and is very comfortable.

Perfect firmness and support, and very comfortablelove this bean bag recliner! It's super comfortable, and the cover is so comfortable too. The white color looks really luxurious, so if you want something more stylish, go for it. However, since I have a dog and kids, the white color broke down in a day, so I bought the gray color. While it's also comfortable, it doesn't look as stylish in my opinion. However, I'm very happy with the gray color. It matches my decor, and if it gets a little dirty, I can wash it without worrying about fading. The chair is sturdy, but you sink into it (it feels more like memory foam than a real bean bag, which I prefer). I was a bit hesitant about the backrest, but it does support you. You don't have to lean against the wall like other similar recliners. It's vacuum-packed, but mine seemed to fully inflate in about an hour. However, I still waited two days before sitting in it to let it fully inflate. It doesn't have the odor that some fabric furniture has out of the box. The non-slip fabric on the bottom helps it stay firmly in place. I love it so far. I'd definitely buy another if I had room.

Not a 5 foot bean bagWhile the bean bag was comfortable, it fell far short of the advertised 5-foot height. I'm 5 feet tall, and even when curled up, my head and feet still hung over the edge of this supposedly 5-foot bean bag. It was only about 3 feet high, barely enough for an adult. Update: Although I didn't receive my order, the company responded promptly and issued a partial refund.

Hugebought a five-foot-tall bean bag chair, and it's huge! The quality is fantastic, and the fabric is super soft! The foam blocks come in a bag inside the soft cover. I love that I can put the cover back in when I need to wash it. And because the foam blocks are in the bag, the bean bag is much more stable than if the blocks were loosely placed in the cover. We do need to move it every few days to get it back into its proper bean bag shape, and since it's so big and heavy, it's a bit of a hassle to move, but luckily, my husband helps. It's super soft and comfortable, and it's solid black.

Not fluffyThe fabric is nice, and the colors are great, but it has too much firm foam padding. I ended up removing more than half of it. The foam is very firm, and even with most of it removed, it still doesn't feel fluffy. I really wish I had bought a bean bag with real foam. I'll keep it. Although it's a bit firm, my grandchildren love it.

Affordable price and excellent qualityI bought this two years ago, and it's still working great. It wipes down easily and is easy to clean. Since I'm a nanny, my kids, ages 12 and 1, play on it every day. They sit on it, lie on it, jump on it...they do everything, haha. It's not broken at all, and nothing has spilled out. It's definitely worth the money.

Big, sturdy, and comfortable.My son loves this. I got it for his birthday, and it's his throne. No one else can fit in it. I can barely move his butt off! He sits in it for hours. It's surprisingly heavy, but it makes it comfortable for him next time. It's not like a bean bag that you have to move around constantly. It's thick enough that reshaping takes some effort. We got the gray one, which is a darker color, doesn't show stains, and goes with so many decor items. The top handle is sturdy and practical. Worth the money!

It's fine until you need to clean it.A huge, comfortable memory foam sleeping bag. The kids love it, and it's held up well to countless tramps. The cover is good quality. However, removing it to wash it makes a mess. It's filled with bits of memory foam... all sizes, colors, and all torn and damaged. The zipper does open (it takes a good tug), but it would be nice to store the foam in its own bag so that when you wash the cover, you don't end up with a mess in the house (or, in my case, a bathtub full of sponges when I wash the bag and then have to vacuum it after refilling it).

Great chair - comfortable, spacious, beautiful cover, highly recommendedThis bean bag chair is amazing! I got the 5-foot black model, and it's very comfortable for two people to sit side by side. It's also long enough for a 5'9" teen boy to lie flat on it, with his entire body supported down to his calves. If you have a small space, this chair isn't for you—order a smaller size. The foam padding is ample and super soft, thick, and supportive. The velveteen cover is incredibly soft and zips shut, making it easy to wash if needed. You can also add additional foam padding via the zipper if the chair compresses over time (though we only had it for a few days, so I can't comment on its long-term performance). Unboxing and inflating is easy—it only takes about 15 minutes to fully expand. I'm so happy with this bean bag that I'm considering buying one or two more for the family room in the basement so my grandchildren and their guests can each have a comfortable seat without having to compete for the next one in line. I highly recommend this product!

Great bean bag bed/lounge chairDelivery and setup were easy. The size was perfect. But like all bean bags, they need to be fluffed and rearranged frequently. They look great and are comfortable for watching TV! They only seat one person, not two. It's very comfortable for watching TV!

Giant bean bagThese bean bags are perfect! No need to worry about messing them up, as they're already filled with stress-relieving stuffing. They're huge, beautifully packaged, and come with easy, step-by-step instructions! The material is soft and well-made! I bought them for my 5-year-old and 7-year-old, but they're big enough for my 14-year-old and myself!

Great bean bag chairWe're looking for a sofa for our room and need a place for the kids and friends to gather. These bean bags are perfect. There's a slight smell when you unpack them, but that quickly dissipates. We rolled them up for the first few days. You can feel the foam, but that's what they're made of. As long as they're comfortable and supportive, that's fine. I held back from giving it five stars because I wanted to see how they hold up after the kids sat in them.

Giant bean bag chairlove the size and color. It's also very comfortable. It barely loses its shape once I sit on it. I've had to rearrange it a few times, but it's mostly held its shape. The handle broke when I was moving it, leaving a tear in the fabric, so I'll be sewing that up. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but overall, I love the size and it works great as my gaming chair. It's big enough for a 5'8" adult!

Love this bag!bought the 5-foot size, and it's roomy enough for two adults to snuggle up comfortably. It's perfect for relaxing, reading, watching movies, and even taking a nap. It's good quality and feels like it won't tear easily. After opening the vacuum seal, I placed the expanding foam section over the open/unzipped lid. This made it easier to pull the fabric over the top and zip it up once it expanded to full size (which took about a day or two, and I fluffed the foam up a bit). Overall, the price is great, it doesn't look particularly cheap, and the instructions are easy to follow. You won't regret buying it; just make sure you have enough space! Update: Four months later, I still love it just as much. It's in great shape! It just needs to be re-fluffed occasionally, but that's not a problem at all.

Very comfortable and very affordable!was hesitant to order this due to the lack of reviews and the lack of free return shipping, but I finally did! This bean bag chair is amazing! The memory foam is incredibly resilient, and the size is exactly as advertised. Everything feels like high-quality materials, and it's incredibly comfortable! I can't comment on its durability yet, but it feels like it will last a long time! I also really liked the price; $79.99 with a $10 coupon was actually the reason I ordered it. The next cheapest similar bean bag was $89.99. I did find one that was slightly cheaper, but it was filled with foam balls and didn't have as good reviews. If you're looking for a high-quality, large bean bag with memory foam at a reasonable price, this is the one for you!

Great little chair cushionbought this same chair before, but it was a 4-foot model instead of the 3-foot model because, when I used it, it took up most of the space between my desk and bed. It was a good idea to upgrade this time. It's sturdier than the larger size. Maybe it has more padding, but the 3-foot chair is too small to recline like the 4-foot one. I can push it against a wall and use it as a backrest, but beyond that, the chair doesn't offer much support. If you're smaller (I'm 5'7", by the way), you might be able to recline, but unfortunately, I can't. Regardless, I like this chair and it's very comfortable. If that doesn't bother you, I bet you'll love it!

Perfect! I love it so much!It's perfect, I love it! I bought the red three-foot bag. It's vacuum-packed and very tightly packed. When you first take it out of the box, it's a small square. You have to stretch the foam out a bit and then roll it. Don't be afraid to move it around a bit; it can handle it. It's well-made and has two zippers, one underneath the other. No need to unzip it. The included instructions say to help the foam expand by rolling the bag on the floor. I did that for about 10 minutes, and after it sat for a few hours, it looked like the picture above. The instructions say it takes 4 to 5 days to fully expand. After a few hours, I was very satisfied, so I'm sure I'll be even more satisfied than 4 or 5 days. Great bag. I'll buy again.

Awesome! Finally found a bean bag chair that's worth the money!received this product in less than an hour. I love it so much that I wrote a review so quickly! ✓ This bean bag is filled with memory foam, not traditional foam. I found it very comfortable, with good cushioning and back support. However, if you're looking for a traditional "bean bag," this isn't the one for you. ✓ The product arrived on time. The outer packaging was a little damaged when I found it at my doorstep, which did make me a little worried. However, the inner packaging was excellent, and the product was undamaged. ✓ You have to rip the outer zipper bag to remove the bean bag (yes, it should be ripped and discarded!). ✓ When I first removed the bean bag from the packaging, it looked wrinkled and tight. This is completely normal, as it's vacuum-sealed for easy shipping. ✓ As soon as I removed it from the plastic bag, the bean bag began to expand. I turned it over and jumped on it to speed up the process. ✓ The bean bag is still expanding. So cute! ✓ I've included a photo I took less than an hour after unpacking. You'll get a rough idea of how big the bean bag is and how much it will expand! I'll be sure to include photos of the product once it's fully expanded. ✓ I ordered the Vermillion color. The color is exactly as pictured (a dark pink). ✓ However, the pictures provided in the product description don't really reflect the size of this bean bag! I must say, it's huge, even though it's only 3 feet wide. This bean bag is perfect for my reading space. It's not too big, not too small. It's just the right size! ✓ However, I must mention that I'm a petite woman at 5'2". This bean bag is really comfortable for me. I think I could take a nap in this bean bag! My verdict: Great product. Well worth the money! Update: One week after receiving this product, the bean bag is fully expanded! (In fact, it fully expanded just 48 hours after opening the package.) ^ It's cylindrical; the top and bottom are distinct. ^ When fully expanded, the bean bag is 3 feet in diameter and 1 foot tall. ^ The amount of foam is just right. Provides ample back support. ^ I fluff it up thoroughly after each use so it's comfortable for the next time. ^ As I mentioned before, this bean bag is huge! It's very comfortable for me! (I'm a 25-year-old, petite woman at 5'2"). ^ It's more like a cute little couch where I can read and relax! I absolutely love this product! ~ Perfect for apartment dwellers. This bag is the perfect size, providing good comfort while being compact enough for apartments/houses with limited space.

Great size and very comfortable!We just got this, and everyone's already scrambling for it! We bought it for my 11-year-old son, who's shorter than average, but his twin brother is taller, and the size fits perfectly! I'm 5'4" and I can fit comfortably in it from hip to head. I'm considering buying another one. Sure, it has a slight smell... but it's like a new car! I'm sure it will wear off, but if not, I'll spray it with some essential oils and that'll help. It's very comfortable. I love the orange color... it's my son's favorite color. This is by far the best one, and I'm so glad I chose it because I read so many reviews and searched for it that it wouldn't be too small. One thing I have to warn you about... it comes in this ziplock bag, and it's so compressed that I thought it was just the padding inside... Don't panic like I did... it's just so tightly packed inside that you have to roll it to open.
