it did leakif your cat doesn\'t stand to pee then it\'s not a bad purchase, however it is small on the inside so if you have a big cat definitely don\'t buy this. it wasn\'t terrible to build and the instructions were clear. i did like the way it looked and the fact that unless i told people it was a litter box they didn\'t know. it did leak tho so

Beautifully made just a bit smallI loved the look and quality also the packaging was great. Only thing the space for my cat is kinda small. He’s long and a bit on the thick side lol so I can only imagine him needing to really fit in there. So far he likes it tho and enjoys it. I set a small pillow (the ones for chairs on the top and the other end his water fountain and water, he enjoys having his little space. Easy to clean & nice shine to it. Litter stays inside nicely and odor doesn’t come out as much. I will be buying a bigger one .

Involved assembly but looks nicePleased with how it came together, seems good quality and sturdy. What I am taking off a star for is the assembly. Took over two hours and the instructions were straight up wrong in two places. Still, it was manageable to do solo. Looks nice all put together and it is the perfect size. My cats love the cardboard that came with it.

We have an older cat that didn’t want to climb the stairs to use the litter box, as well as a small/medium size dog that would have been 'curious' about anything left in a litter box. This unit is a nice piece of furniture that matches our decor, doesn't take up a lot of space, adds a little shelf space, and most importantly provides access to the cats as well as discouraging exploration by the dogs. There is (so far) no litter box smell from even a few feet away, and it's pretty easy to keep clean (some sweeping of the tracked litter, but not too much).;I will say that the instructions are not entirely accurate, but if you're reasonably intelligent you'll figure out what needs to be done to put it together. It's not rocket science.

Good product, worth the money, one typoGreat product. Assembly took about an hour and a half with a drill. If you do not own a drill it will take you about 4 times the amount of time. The product is sturdy and good quality. Box was very heavy and the instructions were pretty clear.;One issue though is that there is a typo you should look out for and that they should fix. On step 5 it says to use the \"An\" screws to put into the holes of piece number 5. This is a typo and should say Bn pieces. They only give you what you need really to follow the instructions so if you arnt the brightest then it could get you turned around. Overall a good product and worth the money.

Solid, good valueI\'m so impressed with this cat litter box furniture! It\'s heavy and sturdy. The litter box I bought for it fits perfectly.;Assembly took me around 4 hours, working solo. It would have gone much faster with two people; there are MANY small pieces to attach. The instructions are all in picture form. I\'ve assembled a lot of flat pack furniture over the years and this was the most complicated one I\'ve ever tackled. It all comes together, though, if you go through it slowly and carefully.;NOTE: There\'s an error at the top of page 10 in the assembly instructions: The picture shows inserting four of metal parts \"An\" into structural piece #5, but it should show four of parts \"Bn,\" the wooden dowels. I spent several anxious minutes thinking I was shorted some of the metal pieces \"An\" before I found the mistake.;When it\'s finally assembled, this is a solid, well-made piece of furniture. Every piece has a purpose. You\'ll need a Phillips head screwdriver and, ideally, a second person. You have to lift and support the assembled wooden cabinet while you attach it to the metal frame--no easy feat if you don\'t have help.;It looks just like the product photos and every piece was well thought out. It even has adjustable feet in case you have an uneven floor surface. For one of the most reasonably priced litter box enclosures, this is a bargain. I hope my cat appreciates it, as I will appreciate not seeing the open litter box.

Cats Love ItMy cats took to their new hidden litter box right away. This is the perfect size for a small apartment that doesn\'t have a lot of space to hide a litter box, so you want to maximize it\'s functionality. Excellent furniture piece for the price, although allocate about an hour or so for assembly.

My house DOES NOT smell like cat litterI will not stop talking about this !! My cats don’t have an issue with it, my house does not smell at all. The only part that was hard was building it. It took me 3 hours to put together and in the end I think I missed one piece and just kind of mickey moused it lol! Other than the long building time, price is great and my cats litter box is no where to be seen or smelt

Good option for cat-friendly furnitureThis piece is pretty durable and it looks nice. Definitely doesn\'t look like it\'s designed to hide a litter box. Aside from one hiccough when I was assembling it (which I\'m pretty sure was user error) it was pretty easy to put together, too. I did it by myself, so having an extra set of hands would make it even easier.

Fantastic!I have 3 cats. They take great pride in their litter stations! This was especially nice in the half bath downstairs. They were so pleased at first glance, they waited in line for each other to try it out, one by one. (See pics);I put it together by myself in an hour and a half. Very straight forward. It fits a standard 20.5x15.5 litter box. It can handle a box with a hood as well, as long as it\'s not too tall. For anyone wondering specifically, I sampled my \"Breeze System\" pellet litter box (the 20 inch model) a standard plastic tray box, and a hooded box of the same bottom proportions and they all fit and worked perfectly. Note: the \"Breeze System\" litter box i sort of had to squeeze it inside over the door hinges (like a centimeter), but once inside, it fits perfect with plenty of wiggle room. (See pic);It is VERY sturdy and even comes with additional support attachments to connect to the wall, etc. I did not find any of thay necessary as this thing is bolted to the frame when it\'s put together and is quite heavy when done, which is great!;It has a scratch pad for the cats in the little \"foyer\" going into the litter box tunnel. Should that ever wear out, you can flip it over to a new side and eventually replace it all together with any sort of scratch pad you can fit in there. I may put a little motion light in mine!;I haven\'t had any problems cleaning it. The surface is very smooth and easy to clean.;I got the white marble design and it\'s CHIC! Beautiful arrangement for the price.;Highly recommend. The cats LOVE IT. When not \"using\" it, they perch on top. You can throw a small bed or something on top if you\'d like, plenty of room to try things out!;If you\'ve got the room, get it!

Excellent productWanted something to match our floors so we got this and it’s perfect. For the price we were worried it’d look cheap but it looks great, has storage for their treats and scooper, and holds up nicely. And our babies actually use it! It is shorter so for reference it’s about double the height of a shark storage bin

Discrete litter boxI love this item for concealing the litter box. Great if living in a smaller space and just don’t have a place to hide the box. No one likes to have a litter box out in the open anywhere in their home. Fits any normal size litter pan and fits my regular size breeze system.

You need this in you lifeGot the gaudy marble one...I love it. Cats love it. No more sweeping everyday for me. Haven\'t noticed any ammonia like smell at all, so no build up. The cats immediately started using it. Which makes me realize how easy of a transition it really is, and how comfortable they feel in it. I believe the scratching pad part also helps to clean their feet. I use slide which is tiny particles, this works well for it. Has certainly cleaned up my home and couldn\'t be happier with the purchase.

Actually17 11/16 deepIf it matters for your space, it is Actually 17 11/16\" deep. For me it mattered because the bathroom door can\'t close.
Otherwise, pretty food construction. Of course a few screws didn\'t line up with the wood and metal and had to go in crookedly. Alas, it\'s what we get for the price.
Putting it together was fine for me, but very small print images. The number stickers are annoying, poorly placed, and hard to remove fully.
The wood piece is definitely wonky, slightly wobbly, but held tightly by the metal.
I kept the cardboard block for cat scratching and put down an astroturf style mat instead to catch litter of fuzzy paws.
The inside was tighter than expected, especially with the door brackets. Had to use a smaller litter box.Posted on

Modern, Sturdy, and EffectiveI am mostly happy with this product. It hides the litter box as intended. Looks very sleek, modern, and minimalistic. A bit tedious to put together but is of good quality and very sturdy. I also love the shelf space for additional storage for jewelry, cologne, other stuff. Collects and shows dust pretty fast, but what black furniture doesn\'t. One thing to note is that the doors don\'t open to the full length of the opening so it may be difficult to get the litter box in and out if it is the full length of the opening. I opted to get an oval litter box that would be easier to maneuver. The cardboard scratching board works great to capture most of the litter that gets tracked out of the litter box. Would definitely recommend this product to family and friends with a feline companion.

Kitty approved.Had to find a hideaway box so my grandson wouldn’t get into the cat box. This works great. I was concerned the cats wouldn’t know to go in there but we just left the doors open for a couple days. Then I shut one door for a couple day and by the time I shut that one they were using it. We placed it under a window and I folded a nice fluffy white blanket on top and the kitty’s love to sun bath up there.

This is a NEEDI bought this furniture for my husband and I\'s new apartment. We were worried about having the litter box out in the open for guests to see, so we bought this instead. It was easy to put together and our cats learned to enter and exit very quickly. It has made my life so much easier, cleaner, and looking nicer. I am incredibly glad that I bought this.

Way sturdier than I thoughtHonestly this thing is great! I wasn\'t expecting it to be as heavy and sturdy as it is! It traps the box odors. It\'s plenty deep to put water or food on top of it. When dirty you just open the doors to clean the box, or wipe down the outside of it with a cleaning wipe. Keeping it clean is super easy.

Well builtThis product was better than I had expected. First, it\'s solid. I was expecting a loose, shakey IKEA style tv stand, but it is well made and a sturdy final product. Secondly, it actually looks nice. No cheap finish or awkward bolts. It\'s pretty resilient too. I had a large tank on it for quite a while. No water damage even though I\'ve gotten it pretty throughly soaked, and tanks aren\'t light by any means. It didn\'t show any signs of stress from any of it. My only complaint is that the interior is just a little too small for most litter boxes. I found one to fit but it\'s not a great litter box.

life saverI was worried my cats would think it\'s not high enough, but they use it with no issue. ( My cats are about 11-13 lbs). It took me a while to build since it is a bit heavy but of course makes it a sturdy piece of furniture. Totally worth the buy, the litter tracking has decreased since buying this.

Great find!It was missing a part that made it uneven but I contacted the manufacturer and they had the piece made and sent to me, great customer service so I didn\'t have to take it apart to return. My cats adjusted quite well to using it.

Well madeThis is exactly what I was looking for to hide the litter box. You wouldn’t even know I had a cat. It is very sturdy and my kitten used it right away. The scratch mat traps all the litter off her feet so there is none on the floor. It does take a little while to put together, but very worth it.

Pieces suckI either plan on returning this item or altering it with other tools. The type B pieces when laying piece 12 do not fit together and there’s a weird gap that the weak pieces can’t fix. I either will be using real tools or returning it.

SturdyThis is much sturdier than I thought it would be. Measure the inside to find the right size litter box and you\'re all good! Took about a day for my cats to start using it consistently. It is not a large space so keep that in mind. My bigger cat does fit but just.

Well built and sturdyThis shelf when built is very heavy. I love that it fit the litter box perfectly and created a safe space for the cats. I just upgraded to an automatic litter box so obviously it doesn\'t fit in here but I am excited to use it for their food and water! Very nice looking and easy to put together. Very sturdy.

Stinky boxThe furniture itself looks good but the kitty didn\'t like the litter box area. She used it a few times and it seemed to have trapped the smell. We clean the litter box twice a day but it still smelled way worse then having an open box. While kitty never went to the bathroom anywhere else outside her old placed litter box, she did start to go in other places after we put her litter box in here.
Kitty loves the scratching area and we now use it for cat food, treats, toys and we turned the litter box portion into a kitty retreat with a bed.
Had I kept the original packaging, I would have returned it, as the main point of the purchase was to hide the litter box.Posted on

Great product! Caution on metal hardware!!Purchased this to keep cat food and water away from our dog. Works great and looks great! My issue with assembly was that the “Ac” and “Ad” bolts were in the same bag labeled “Ad”. The extra 5mm of thread punched through the cabinet base. Caught this with my first screw and had to pull each one from metal frame to find the “Ac” screws to replace. Would have been nice to separate the two but I didn’t catch it until too late. Overall happy and cat seems happy- dog, not so much!

Love it!Cute, easy to assemble, and study. My cats don’t have a problem using it, although I will say the inside is a little small. When taking the litter box in and out I have to do so at an angle to make it fit, but my litter box is a bit long. No complaints though! Love it.

Not big enough for larger catsWe have two 16lb cats and were looking for something to keep out our 130lb dogs. While this cabinet did effectively keep out the dogs, the litter area was too small for the cats to comfortably use. Pee was getting everywhere, even after we\'d put a puppy pad under the litter box, and they were finding alternate places to pee even with daily box cleaning. This was never a problem in the last 13 years with any other litter systems we used, so we could tell it was directly related to the cats not being comfortable.
Unfortunately, nobody seems to make a similar cabinet in a larger size, so we thought we\'d give this a try even knowing we\'d have to purchase a smaller litter box to fit. The doors of the cabinet rest on the inside of the litter area, and then the hinges stick out another inch or so, so you have to account for that when measuring what box will fit. This makes taking the box out very annoying with lots of tilting and spilling.

I wish it was biggerI was looking for a furniture for a while but all reviews were bad.
This one has a great construction, looks great, and has a separation for access to the litter.
My main complaints are the dimensions. I wish it was bigger inside, as for being wider and longer to accommodate bigger litter boxes. But also taller. Inside the height is not great for my cats.
Assembling was easy, but it took me a while. I had no issues and they included spare screws.
Instructions were very clear.

My cats love it!This furniture makes my cats so happy. It was the right fit and easy to assemble. I decided not to add the metal bars on top which makes the furniture flush with the floor. This works perfect for what I need. Nobody suspects a litter box and no smells.

My cat loves her \"boudoir!\"I put this together in a couple of hours and the only tool used was a phillips screwdriver (and I\'m a little old lady). The finished product is absolutely wonderful. It looks like a very nice piece of furniture and visitors are always amazed when I tell them it\'s my cat\'s potty place. My cat had no problem figuring out how to use it. It\'s very easy to clean. I absolutely love it (and so does the cat)!

Handy & Helpful - Shortit is so handy to have!! it fits my litter box, the scooper and even comes with the cat scratcher. the height was a bit smaller than i anticipated but thats my fault! great quality, i havent noticed any spots of weakness yet. it is a bit difficult to put together but i’m a not a crafty handy person. no words on instructions and it doesnt always clarify what screws to use. took me 2 days to put together.

It\'s meh. Does what it\'s supposed to.This is a really cheap cabinet. The doors don\'t line up quite right and it is a real pain to put together. All in all, it does help keep the litter contained and helps the smell a bit. My dog has still figured out how to squeeze her head through the hole, so that didn\'t solve that problem. :/ Not the cabinet\'s fault though. It doesn\'t seem all that sturdy and some of the pieces didn\'t fit together very well.

Cute and practical!The piece overall is exactly what we needed. It looks very nice, and has enough space for a decent sized litter box and we love that it has ventilation holes and a scratching board. It’s also very sturdy. We do wish it was slightly bigger, but it was the biggest litter box furniture piece we could find. Assembly was relatively easy, but the instructions only had pictures and no words so we messed up and had to redo a few things. My only complaint is that it was missing one of the back panels and I am waiting on a replacement my piece, although I think it looks fine without it.

goodThe automatic cat litter machine in the picture is broken! This is the second broken machine. So I decided to switch to the original litter box! This cabinet is the perfect draw for me! You can put the cat litter box in the cabinet and there is a hole next to it for the cat to go in by itself! You can put a lot of potted plants on it, and it can also isolate some odors! It's fine, I like it! very good

ImpressiveThis is one sturdy piece of furniture. Don't confuse it with cheaper lookalikes. Read a negative review of one that looked like this one. Then realized it weighed about half of what this one was listed at.
Put it together myself. Was pretty easy. Don't forget about the wooden dowl pins like I did. Had to redo some of what I had done. The instructions are all in pictures. Only two minor complaints: there are a bunch of white plastic tabs that attach to the back of the unit by screw. Did not know what they were for so I left them off. Unit is still standing. Also, the screw holes for the door latches were a little shallow. Not a big deal. The latches are the soft close type and work really well. Looks good, feels sturdy - couldn't be more satisfied.Posted on

Sturdy, easy to assemble and works well!We bought this to keep the cat box in a living space without it being an eyesore, and I absolutely love it! The two doors open where I can scoop the cat box without removing it completely and store the cat scooper in the cabinet as well. My kitties love the scratching post and the entry prevents the dog from getting all the way in to get a snack.
I got compliments from friends on it, asked if it was a liquor cabinet!
It sits under my window at the perfect height and holds my plants.

Real saver for limited spaceIt is just brilliant! I love the idea that the litter box can be concealed and not displayed in the room. Cats seem to appreciate the privacy they get. They also like to use the scratcher before and after going in, and it helps a lot to prevent dust from spreading.
It also does a great job keeping odors inside, so you can use upper deck and shelves as a regular furniture.Posted on

Perfection!I love these litter box enclosures! They are very solid and heavy pieces. Definitely built to last! I have two on either side of my bed. They work great as nightstands and they are perfect for my cat as well. One holds the litter box and the other contains my cat's bed and food. She loves that it gives her places to hide from the dog and I love that it keeps the dog from eating her food and poop.

cheap but usefulthis was actually surprisingly easy to build, even with just one person who is NOT handy at all (me). i was intimidated by the instructions at first because there are no words, but when i started building it i found out that it is very straightforward with the pictures, and on the side of each page it tells you exactly how many nails/pegs/what nots that you need to use and where to put them. i highly recommend setting each piece of furniture and bag of nails out individually before you begin as each piece is labeled with numbers or letters. i just had one screwdriver and a hammer, but i was able to assemble everything but the cabinet doors with them. i had to borrow a drill for the doors, but i assume most people own one. definitely use a rubber mallet to hammer two pieces of the furniture together, as of course i don’t own one and used my hammer to connect two parts together and chipped a bunch of the lacquer off of the side. it is a tad bit small, i have 2 boys and one of them is extra large so i believe he may feel a little cramped, but i checked the measurements beforehand so i knew it was smaller. if you have cats that are picky about space, i recommend looking for a larger unit. overall, this is definitely ikea quality so it won’t last forever and the screws are stripped pretty much immediately, but since it’s for cats i don’t really care about that.

Don't worry about the plastic threaded inserts.I was concerned about the plastic threaded inserts used for the locking studs. (I'm an engineer) Turns out they work just fine. I only had one stud have a bad Phillips head that was not great.

Rock solid furniture! Highly recommend this one!!!So this is not the first litter box enclosure I have gotten on here, but definitely the best one and glad I tried it. The various pieces and bags of bits laid out on the floor looked daunting, but that fear was overcome after completing the first few steps. Taking ones time, this is a fairly straight forward and easy to assemble kit, with exactly 2 of all the hardware leftover as spares.
From the picture on the listing it looked like it would be a bit sturdier than ones in the past, and that is an understatement, rock solid and stable. the sections went together with little effort and quickly formed a rigid core center. The metal frame is just an added layer of stability and a nice decorative touch to hold it all. Each of the pre-inserted screw tabs seamlessly worked and all of the hardware fit perfectly, without any signs of being wobly or loose. Once together, this thing is a solid and verywell designed piece of furniture that is more than sturdy enough for it's designed task, plus it looks great. The added cardboard insert at the entrance will hopefully do a much better job of filtering loos litter from the cat's paws, and is designed to be removed for cleaning, and one might suspect replacement.Posted on
