Good for small spaces!I was looking for a small shoe bench that would fit in my entry hallway. This was one of the best options, and I’m not even kidding, the third I built and tried. I really do like this bench, but I will add a few notes about things I didn’t expect, or that aren’t ideal.
I didn’t expect that there would be a glossy sheen on the wood. The wood itself is very nice, but I was a bit surprised by this because it appeared more matte in the pictures. I don’t mind it, but I thought I would make a note of it.
The bench was pretty easy to build, but I did find that one of the legs was slightly damaged. I’ve included a picture. The damage was very minimal, and nothing that affected the performance of the bench so I built it anyway.
I also noticed that the shelves of the bench, especially one of mine is a little bit bendy. I’ve included this in the video I took. I certainly wouldn’t put anything very heavy on them, although I do feel comfortable sitting on the bench itself.
My main complaint would be that you cannot fit any shoes taller than sneakers on the shelves of the bench. As someone who lives in a colder climate, this means that for a decent chunk of the year, I can’t store my every day shoots (boots) in or under the bench. This might not be a problem for everyone, and it’s some thing I can get around by storing boots next to the bench, but it unfortunately sort of defeats the purpose of buying a bench to store your shoes.
All that being said, I love the design of the bench and how it works in my space. As I said, building, it was really easy, and out of the multiple I built, this was definitely the easiest.Posted on

Cheap hardware and misaligned holesThis is a nice looking shoe rack but the assembly was difficult due to the pre drilled holes not lining up properly. Also the screws provided were cheap and the heads broke off on two of them as I was trying to screw them in. Their customer service would not send replacement screws so I ended up returning the rack to Amazon.

Imperfect quality, tedious asssemblyI got the white and the brown - both have a nice gloss finish. Both arrived covered in small marks, like the reviewer before me mentioned they look like hundreds of small puncture marks (the tip of something sharp) but considering these have exposed hardware and aren\'t high in aesthetic value it\'s not worth returning - a shoe rack is going to get nicks anyway. Assembly while easy, is tedious. 4 legs have 6 screws each - 24 manual fairly long screws with an Allen wrench. You also need to ensure all components of the legs and shelf are lined up before fully screwing. Wouldn\'t recommend for anyone with arthritis, weak hand strength, bad coordination.

Quality could have been betterI got this is in deal so I don’t regret buying it but it is not sturdy. When you seat on it, it swings little bit. It fits my outdoor space and within my budget so I don’t mind compromising on quality. I would not recommend for household with healthy people.

Sturdy Bench for Door EntranceThe shelf was easy to put together and it didn't take long to assemble. The shelf is sturdy so I sit on the top bench and put shoes on the bottom two racks. Each rack holds about 3-4 pairs of shoes. I love this purchase and would recommend it.
