Works well but problems installing

The shower works well for our pool area to rinse off before or after swimming. The water does warm up quite well. The anchors to attach unit to the floor are the worst -- fits in 7/16 drilled hole but anchor expansion is too much and bolts don\'t screw in all the away. Bolt threads get stripped and get stuck before fastening the base down securely. One anchor cracked the tile floor. Had to improvise to make it work. The unit is unstable at over 7ft high - had to secure to a wall to prevent wind movement from breaking the plastic base (see photo). The shower head / handheld diverter switch is too high for most people to reach.

Best solar shower on the market no leaks

I was skeptical at first only because the low price. This solar shower is amazing. I saw other reviews that said the shower leaked. That only because the didn\'t apply the included plumbers tape to each fitting. Once you applied the plumbers tape there are no leaks at all and the water comes out really warm even hot. Luckily there is a control valve to adjust the heat. When you adjust the control valve to medium heat meaning dont crank it all the way left when you shower. Water comes out warm instead of hot about 100 degrees. It will get the water hot to at least 130 degrees if cranked to the left all the way because that is the hot position. What a great product. I highly recommend it if you don\'t want to install a hot water line this is perfect. Not a single drip anywhere when turned off with the controll valve or turned on. And I only get about 2 hours a day of direct sunlight and I took a 15 min shower at a perfect 110 degrees ( roughly I didn\'t put a thermometer on it ) but inside my house I generally like about a 110 degree shower and I was able to take a 15 min shower at that temp and it never ran out of hot water. I tried 3 other similar products and this one was by far the best.

Pros - It looks nice. Cons - It leaks.

After I purchased the outdoor shower the price dropped $40. Go figure.
Review of the product -
It leaks in a few different places. It\'s a shower so I guess water leaking outside isn\'t a big deal while you run it. You need to have a hose connected to it at all times. You could buy a plug so it wouldn\'t drain all the water out if you discounted the hose. But it also needs pressure for the water to come out of the shower head so you need the hose if you want to use it. Not really happy with it but it was under $200 so I guess this falls under - you get what you pay for.
Plus side - It does look nice and it is tall.

5 star product, not made for the heat.

Great product, worked great for 40 days. It touts to be a \"solar\" heated, and lasts about one shower. However, once the heat hits the upper housing gasket ripped and blew out the top of the housing. All the bad reviews I read were about manufacturer comeback for their product. Guess what? Not holding my breath for a reach around.

We love this outdoor shower, it works perfectly, we also love the foot spout and handheld sprayer. The water pressure is great and the water heats up well.
Two things to mention: the connection for the hose is, I think, not for USA, my husband had the parts to change it out but a trip to the hardware store will be needed if you do not have the parts on hand. Also, it is very very very hard to connect the top and bottom columns together, it is hard to twist the two pieces together, my husband who is in construction needed to call a neighbor to come help him twist the column in place-there is a high gasket that makes it hard to do.
I would recommend this shower because it looks great, is a perfect height and works really well.

Just a heads up the adaptor they use for your garden hose to connect is not easily found in the US. They gave me a refund, but I spent a deal of time and money trying to make it work to no avail.
