Great camping tableThis lightweight table is easy to assemble using just the included wrench and Allen key. If you have experience assembling simple items, allow 30 minutes for unpacking and assembly. Simply drive all the screws in first so everything is aligned before tightening anything. Once the legs are attached to the table, they can be used as a makeshift stand for assembling the crossbar under the seat. To assemble, first turn it upside down and then flip it over. This table is more compact than some others, measuring only 54 inches in length, but it's big enough to seat 4 adults. It's sturdy enough for regular camping activities, but not suitable for use as a scaffold or dance platform.

Heavy duty but lacks locking mechanismThe construction is solid and the tabletop is load bearing. There is no locking mechanism, which is really the only downside. The table needs to be flipped up quickly and hard to set up, otherwise it will break in half when trying to stand upright due to the lack of a stable locking mechanism.

Very durableVery heavy and very durable. I thought it didn't have a handle, but it does (it was tucked into the top). It's very stable for picnics on uneven grass. I would buy it again...but it weighs over 40 pounds folded up.

Good table for shade if you are lucky enough to have Chinese quality control and an costway delivery driverThis picnic table assembled roughly as described. I bought the Cosco version, not a similar, less expensive, no-name table, hoping that Cosco would improve its quality control. Perhaps they did, as this table did not have the blow molding defects that buyers of similar tables mentioned. Included in the package are the nut runners and Allen wrenches needed for assembly. I used an electric drill with the appropriate hex bit (I guess 3/16) to speed up assembly and avoid excessive wrist fatigue. Like the junk exported from China, the welding process is haphazard. Three of the four positions where the moving parts are inserted between the welding flanges are incorrect: two are too tight and one is too loose. Heavy-duty pliers are required for assembly. Of course, if the parts are not to spec, you may break one. The instructions are generally good, but it would be better if they explained the most efficient assembly sequence in more detail. The assembly process is fairly simple, even one person can do it easily. The assembled table looks sturdy enough. Two people can easily carry it, and one person can also carry it when the table is folded flat (depending on physical strength). One thing to note is that the grey plastic of this table gets very hot in direct sunlight. It's best to cover the table and benches with light-colored material when not in the shade. The delivery was the worst. The driver apparently threw the box out of the truck without any regard for the damage that could be done. The "fragile", "this side up" and "team lift" signs meant nothing to him. The box was torn and the foam end caps were shattered. It's easy to bend the frame or damage the plastic surface during delivery. As for the quality of the welds, I was lucky. Overall, it's OK for the price, but your experience may vary.

I purchased this table and dealt with customer service.love this table. It is a little smaller than a normal picnic table so be aware of that before purchasing. I love the look of it and the quality is great. It was easy to assemble and I had no trouble putting it together myself. When putting the last piece together I noticed a hole in it. I contacted costway and they told me to contact them first. They were very easy to deal with, they responded quickly and handled the situation well and gave me several options. I am considering adding another piece to my outdoor area and will definitely buy from this seller again in the future.

Sturdy and easy to assembleI bought two of these to use this summer when family comes to visit. They are very well made and very durable. They were very easy to assemble! It was easier to drill with an Allen bit instead of using a wrench. All the parts came in a sealed kit. It took me a few hits with a hammer to get the metal pieces straight enough to fit the joints, but it was easy. It would be nice to have another person to help flip the table over when assembling. I am very happy with them and look forward to using them next time. I would buy again.

Best purchase for my backyardWe have a cement patio in our backyard. We didn't want to have bulky furniture that would need to be covered or kept out with a tarp. We live in the Midwest and the weather can be unpredictable and it's easy to damage furniture. This table is the perfect solution. It's a little tricky for me to get it out and unfold since I have limited upper arm strength. My husband has no problem with it though. So far, it's holding up really well considering the number of people and weight sitting on each bench. I think it says each bench can hold up to 400 pounds. And, so far, it's definitely lived up to that promise. I'm very happy with my purchase and love this table! It's perfect for our needs.
