Don't mind the bad reviews! For its intended use, this is more than adequateI'm very happy with it. Regarding some of the negative reviews, I have to comment. When you cut the tape to open the box, don't use a razor blade or a utility knife, as you'll cut the bag, the gloves, or both. Those who say the bag arrived damaged likely damaged it themselves when opening the box. Those who say the bag is leaking likely overinflated it. Use common sense when inflating the bag. If you start to see stitching or the ball looks like it's about to burst, you've overinflated it! It just needs enough air to bounce back. To the person who says it's falling apart, you obviously didn't tighten the hardware properly. I'm a mechanic, and I can assure you that the hardware is more than enough to hold it together. Regarding the person who complained about the height adjustment grooves, try threading the screw in just enough to touch the post, then slide it while applying pressure. It's not magic! You can feel the groove; just tighten it. That being said, this is a speedball that hangs on a pole. Don't expect to pay $200 for this bag. This is an affordable speedbag. You'll absolutely have no problem using it for boxing and learning hand-eye coordination. Don't expect to use it like you would at a New York gym. This is a home workout tool that works perfectly for its intended purpose. Don't mess it up and don't give the product a bad review. Again, common sense is key. If you're considering buying this, go for it! I love my punching bag. It's perfect for me and my strength and abilities. I'm 61 and recovering from a three-year battle with cancer. I have no problem using it for boxing and training. Carefully cut open the box, find a good Phillips screwdriver, and it'll be ready in 30 minutes at most. I filled my box with water. It's very stable. If you're planning on buying this bag for a teenager who will be punching and kicking it like a punching bag, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a professional-grade one. It's been perfect for me. I'm very satisfied.

very goodIt's excellent. Some people have complained in reviews about it being wobbly, but come on, it's a freestanding punching bag, so be realistic. Sure, if you hit it hard enough, it might fall over, as it's lightweight. But for a freestanding punching bag in this price range, I think it's unbeatable and one of my best purchases.

Definitely worth itOne of the poles broke, so I contacted customer service. They sent me a replacement the same day. I put the entire pole together and have been having fun with it ever since. I highly recommend it to everyone. It was super easy to put together, and the price is very affordable and the quality is great compared to other pole brands.

Money well spent!I just received this a few days ago. My son immediately wanted to put it together. He's 10 years old, and the assessment was easy for him to complete. He spent over an hour just hitting the punching bag, and he released some energy, haha. It comes with a pump to inflate the bag inside—no need to buy it separately. It won't inflate to the entire ball like the photo in the product description, but it's enough for hitting. It can be easily adjusted to different heights as needed. The size is perfect for my child, and it seems quite durable and sturdy. The suction cup is great, keeping it in place without falling or sliding (we're using it on laminate). So far, it seems to be working well and provides my son with an additional activity option—well worth the money! I recommend using boxing gloves because of the metal parts that hold the punching bag in place.

What's that sound?The sandbags are good. They hold a generous amount of sand, and both the cup and the sand stay securely in place. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that after a short time, the sandbags start to make an unpleasant squeaking sound when I tap them. I tried tightening the screws and lubricating some parts, but nothing seemed to help. Aside from the noise, we're otherwise quite satisfied.

Great product and excellent customer servicewas looking for a punching bag to start learning boxing, and this one was perfect. Assembly was super easy. We filled the base with 100 pounds of sand, with room to add more if needed. We didn't use suction cups because we were placing it on carpet. It feels sturdy and durable, and I know it will last a long time. I give their customer service five stars because the shipping company kept delaying the arrival of one of the boxes. When I left a message with the seller, they were very responsive, making sure I had the correct tracking number. They even came back a few days after our conversation to confirm I received the package. This is definitely one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. If you're a beginner and don't want to drill holes in the ceiling, this product is definitely worth the money.

Sturdy and thick plastic.Why did you choose this product over others?: I bought a similar punching bag at Walmart before, but the other brand's punching bags quickly popped up. This one has thicker plastic and seems durable (I've been using it for a month). It also comes with a small foot pump, which is nice; my daughter loves it.

Great punching bagI've been wanting to buy a sandbag for years. I finally decided on this one, and so far, I'm very happy with it. The bag is already three-quarters full of sand. It sits on the carpet, so I put a gym mat underneath it. The suction cups hold the mat well, but if I hit it hard, it tends to lift up a bit. So I placed a few weights in the corners, and that made a huge difference. I'm so happy to have this in my home gym.

Surprisingly good product at great value for money.The shipping was fast. The order said it would take a week and a half to arrive, but it arrived in three days. The box was slightly damaged, but the product itself was not. It looks good and was easy to assemble. It's very secure even without sand or water on the bottom; simply use the suction cup on a smooth concrete floor until the sand sticks. The instructions are written in broken English, which is a bit confusing in this day and age, but it's still understandable. I recommend using a proper socket wrench instead of the tiny punch-down 12mm wrench that comes with the product. The gloves are nice; they fit my large hands perfectly. I have Parkinson's disease, and boxing is a good exercise for improving my symptoms.

Beautiful sandbagOverall, this is a good punching bag, but it's more suitable for children/teens. The base can be filled with water or sand for stability. I found the material a bit flimsy for punching—I'm skeptical about how long it would last before it deflated. The base can be difficult to move once filled with sand—not necessarily because of the weight, but because, like the bag, it's made of vinyl, which can be a problem if it hits something sharp. I'd prefer a base made of a more rigid material, like a plastic shell.

Yes, just say it.The base is quite heavy, but I ended up propping it up against a wall so it wouldn't slide around. Hitting it as hard as I could definitely make it move a bit. But now, I can hit it pretty hard and it doesn't budge. I've hit it about four times now and it hasn't torn or anything, so I think it's actually quite durable; the material feels quite tough. I don't think you need gloves, but I covered my hands anyway. I can also use it as an activity when we have children's parties; it's soft enough for kids to easily fall on it, and I love that versatility. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up and be ready to go, so getting started was quick and easy. I definitely recommend adding it to any home gym; it's perfect for tackling everyday annoyances.

While not a replacement for a heavy bag, it's a pretty good alternativeI've been using this bag for about a year and a half. It's held up well to moderate kickboxing training, with the occasional hard punch and kick. I fill the bottom of the bag with sand and keep it in my garage on a concrete floor. The bag won't stay in place completely, but it barely moves for 30 to 60 minutes, so the impact on its functionality is negligible. It's not as good as a 200-pound Muay Thai bag, but given its price-performance ratio, it's a very good option for those with limited space at home. Similarly, you won't be hitting this bag with full force all the time—but you will get a solid workout. The bag's frame has gotten a little "soft" over time; it's not as rigid as it was when I first started using it, but it's nothing major. The bag itself has some minor bumps/ridges/dents from being hit and kicked hard, but these appear to be cosmetic issues and don't affect the feel or quality. I expect it to last at least two years. If it works, it's well worth the money. If it lasts three or four years, it's a great value.

Great bag!Setup was easy. Filling it with sand was a bit of a hassle. After filling it with sand, I tested the bag, firing 10 rounds at a time for 3 minutes each. Here are its pros and cons. Pros: The bag is made of some durable material, so wear gloves when handling it. It moves a bit, but I prefer that because it can mimic an opponent's head movement if they're swinging. I'm a power hitter, so even with the sand, it tipped over a few times. So I threw in my 25-pound vest and 200 pounds of sand, and it never tipped over again. Durable toyI bought this for my 8 year old son and it's exactly what I was looking for. My son likes it very muchbought this bag for my son, and he punches it all the time. It's so sturdy. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh over 200 pounds, but I can still handle his punches and kicks. The height is perfect for both of us. I used water as the bottom, but I've heard sand/mud would be even better (heavier). I want to move it around, so I'm sticking with water for now.

Great for kidsThis is a great boxing set for a child, especially one aged 12 and under. It's quite sturdy and you fill the base with water to stop it tipping over. I like it because you don't have to move anything or screw anything into the wall: it's just a free-standing unit. If your child plays with it from time to time, it will improve their hand-eye coordination and boxing skills.

Very good quality, but not completely "noiseless"The punching bag arrived on time, as ordered. The base arrived much earlier than expected, arriving one day after the "delivery date." If you decide to fill the base with sand (which is almost unanimously recommended online), you'll definitely need a funnel to collect all the sand and minimize spillage. Other websites have suggested using playground sand, but I found multi-purpose sand easier to work with. However, multi-purpose sand can trap a lot of dust in the air, which can be respiratory, so wearing a mask is highly recommended. The bag itself is very durable and can withstand punches and kicks. I filled the bag with 150 pounds of sand. It does wobble when hit, but it's not a problem. The assembly process is very simple and straightforward; I didn't need the instructions. When hitting the bag, I noticed that when I hit it hard, a small dent formed around the contact point. However, hitting multiple areas eliminated this dent. If I only hit that area for precision, the divot scratches didn't seem to get any worse. One issue I did have with the bag is the use of terms like "noise reduction" and "noiseless" in the description. Just like how sound works, things like this are always going to make some noise. I once used this punching bag downstairs at home with a pull-back punching machine, and my parents said they could definitely hear the noise coming from the floor while they were watching TV upstairs. Other than that, this bag is great quality. It's very durable, easy to assemble, and affordable compared to other punching bags.
