Works great! Finally got to try this out this summer for making cherry juice. It worked great. Appears to be well made, looks like it will last for many years. Great price for a very durable product, but probably too small to try to press harder fruits like apples in it.

So worth itI had the best time using this with my kids we made apple cider using this and we loved it. We have a apple tree so we had enough apples and I went ahead and bought this and this is so durable I use it sloth and it hasn’t broke or break yet.

Works fine. Fair for the cost. The press works well. I have used it with two batches of apples I crushed first. It is not a large press, which I knew, but for someone just doing a few batches it is fine. It would have been nice if it had more blocks. To really make it work the best and to get all the juice out of a batch, you need to make or put in more blocks to squeeze the apples more. I cut two pieces of 2 by 4 boards to put in vertically, which allows you to do this. Other than that, I am pleased.

Works wellThis press works fine, we pressed grapes and apples. I cut an extra piece of wood to fit inside at the bottom so the slatted cage doesn't move around. One iron bar is ok, but I used two more for ease of turning. You'll have to replace the mesh bag fairly soon, it's not robust. All in all for the money, it's a reasonable starter press. I'm pleased with it.

Worked well for concord grapesI'm giving this a 5 star rating not because it's the best fruit press ever, but because I think it is a good value for the money. No missing or broken pieces and it seems well built.I ran about 40 lbs of grapes through it in multiple batches. The included mesh bag worked fine. The press did a good job.I did need to make & use extra spacer blocks (4-5 inches-worth).I did not crush my grapes super-well first and so didn't fill the basket up so full .Obviously, you cannot spin the "nut" below the top of the basket with this design. That left quite a distance to the fruit. YMMV, depending on what you are pressing.I happened to have some oak lying around from a woodworking project that I could use.

Nifty little pressI used this for pressing crabapples. My method is drawn out and tedious but yields lots of tasty juice. I cut the apples in half, freeze, thaw, chop in the food processor, then load the press and crank it down. I let it sit about 5 minutes, then crank down a little more, repeating this several times until I'm sure I've gotten every last drop. Doing it this way yields 2 quarts of juice per press, about 2 gallons per 5 gallon bucket of crabapples. I did cut 2 2x4 blocks to use in addition to the blocks provided to get maximum press.
