I bought this for use to start vegetables and fruits prior to moving them out to the garden. I also wanted to utilize it in the winter months for my houseplants.
I have bought 4 grow tends in the last few years and this is by far the nicest. The drainage hole and floor tray are both nice features that I didn’t have with other tents in the last.
The fabric is thicker and won’t crack like the clear plastic ones. The zipper seems reinforced and I have had no issues with it. Grow lights are easily used and I don’t worry about melting the canopy.
This is much sturdier also than basic grow tents. The high bar works well for hanging plants and baskets.
Ventilation seems to flow well, humidity helps the plants in dry months and helps keep moisture in. I haven’t tried putting a humidor directly in the tent, but I might. I use spray bottle/mister mainly.
Overal this is a great purchase for an avid grander or beginner. The basic tents may cost a bit less than this, but I can attest to the fact they break easily, are wobbly and will need to be replaced in a short time span. Go with this instead!
