The Ultimate Companion for Outdoor AdventuresAs an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, fishing, and picnicking, I’ve always been on the lookout for a reliable cooler that can keep my drinks and food cold for extended periods. Enter the **COSTWAY 16 Quart Cooler** in a stunning teal color, a game-changer for my outdoor adventures. Here’s my in-depth review based on personal experience.
#### First Impressions and Build Quality
The first thing that caught my eye was the vibrant teal color, which adds a stylish touch to any outdoor setting. The cooler is built to last, with a sturdy, heavy-duty handle that makes it easy to carry, even when fully loaded. The 16-quart capacity is perfect for my needs, comfortably fitting up to 24 cans.
#### Ice Retention and Insulation
One of the standout features of this cooler is its exceptional ice retention capability. I’ve tested it on multiple trips, and it consistently keeps ice frozen for 3 to 5 days, even in warm weather. This level of insulation ensures that my beverages stay icy cold and my food remains fresh throughout the trip. It’s particularly handy for multi-day camping adventures where access to ice might be limited.
#### Practical Features
The cooler comes with two built-in cup holders on the lid, which is a thoughtful addition. It’s incredibly convenient to have a place to set my drink while I’m relaxing by the campsite or fishing. The heavy-duty handle is robust and feels secure, making it easy to transport the cooler from my car to the campsite or picnic spot.
#### Leakproof and Durable
I’ve had my fair share of disappointing experiences with coolers that leak or don’t hold up to rugged use. Thankfully, the COSTWAY cooler is truly leakproof, providing peace of mind that it won’t create a mess in my vehicle. The hard exterior is also incredibly durable, withstanding bumps and knocks without any signs of wear.
#### Portability and Ease of Use
Despite its sturdy construction, the cooler is lightweight and portable. The handle is well-designed for a comfortable grip, making it easy to carry, even when packed with ice and drinks. Its compact size fits nicely in the trunk of my car without taking up too much space, leaving room for other gear.
#### Conclusion
The **COSTWAY 16 Quart Cooler** in teal has exceeded my expectations in every way. Its excellent ice retention, durable build, and practical features make it an indispensable part of my outdoor gear. Whether I’m camping, fishing, or just enjoying a picnic, I can count on this cooler to keep my drinks cold and my food fresh for days. If you’re in the market for a reliable and stylish cooler, I highly recommend giving the COSTWAY 16 Quart Cooler a try. It’s truly the ultimate companion for any outdoor adventure.Posted on

good insulation and durable materialI bought this 16 quart cooler to use for camping and roadtrip. As my 2nd picture is shown, the inside is pretty large (24 cans without ice); thus, for our family\'s recent camping trip, it is more than enough to store drink and food that need to stay cool.
Its material seems to provide good insulation. The cooler is pretty thick overall and the lid with the black rubber closes tightly. Therefore, with the plenty of ice, our cans of soda stayed cold on our 2nd day. The stainless steel handle is very sturdy; thus, even after we fill this cooler full, I can lift it without worrying about it getting bent or broken.
I like that it has a drainage plug that allows me to drain the water. Since overtime, the ice gets melted. By draining water frequently, ice tends to stay longer.Posted on

Keep things cool for hours, very cute color, great quality! This cooler was perfect!!! It fits cans of soda easily and is perfect for road trips! No need to pack a giant cooler with this small thing. It holds more than expected and so much better than a soft sided cooler that I usually bring, we could usually bring Dino and multiple snacks with extra room for anything else we may need, the color is beyond magnificent, very please with all aspects of this product. Easily wipe down when you are all done and ready for your next trip! Good design, it keeps food cold for hours! The lid is easy to open too! Perfect size for family of three!

Better than I thoughtThis cooler is the perfect size for most of my uses, with good roto molded type cooler performance. Especially great on road trips. It arrived promptly and was advertised. Seems to be a good designed little cooler. I hope it holds ice half as good as its design. Looking forward to using it.

Mis-handle handleGenerally well built cooler for the $100 price mark. However, the handle is a deal brraker. It is designed to hold cooler by pivoting on the cooler hole for handles but not truly attached thus is wadles and falls off. It is also narrow, thus making uncomfortable to carry too far or too long. Decided to buy slightly pricier Camp-Zero 16 qt cooler instead.

Big but easy to carryTested the cooler after i received it. It definitely keeps the insides cold and the ice doesn’t melt. Planning to bring this for the next family trip!

Good for service truck coolerHeavy cooler, I mean that both good and bad. It rolls and bangs a lot in my service van and has not cracked or broken. But when you load it full of drinks and ice it is a bit bulky to carry. Holds ice inside a van for a day and a half in 85 to 90 degree heat outside the van. Probably 110 ish inside truck. I would recommend for good construction truck cooler. Hold’s enough drinks for 2 guys maybe 3.

ComfortabilityThe only thing I wish was different was a more comfortable handle. The foam that comes with it is not very thick, but it does the job. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but a closer inspection shows it is really nice for the price. If it performs like I hope it will on the trails, will be money well spent.

Great size for kayakWe bought these to use on kayaks and they work perfectly for them. They have the strap holes to run a strap though them and have the latching lid to keep the cooler close incase you roll over

Better than I thought it would be.I almost returned it when I opened it because it looked so small inside. Then I decided to give it a try and it fits 18 beers (cans) and a full bag of ice. So far the ice lasted a day and a half under normal use.

Great value for the money.I originally sought to order a double walled ice bucket. The cheapest I could find was $79. For ten dollars more, I purchased the STAKOL/Goplus cooler which serves that purpose and a lot more. Built like more expensive double walled roto molded coolers, this was half the price. Worth it and I would recommend. it.

Must have coolerThis ice cooler has been working great for us and does what it is supposed to do.
It’s very durable, comfortable handle grip, light weight, drains really well, tightly sealed when closed with its latch straps, easy to carry and does the job of keeping the food inside cold for many hours!
We took it for a road trip across the states and the food inside stayed cold for 3 days . It has good non slip pads on the button and it didn’t move around when we were driving.
It’s well worth the cost for the quality and features that this cooler offers and I’m looking forward to getting many more uses out of it in the future.Posted on

very durableMy previous cooler was not that good so I has been looking for a better and more durable cooler for some time. Seems like any anything good with a brand will cost an arm and a leg. I tumbled upon this one and since it was fairly cheap, 2/3 of the price of the famous brands. I decided to give it a try. Took it out to the river and was very rough on it and this is the result.
we put ice in the cooler together with 12 cans of beer, there are only three of us so we didn’t need much. It has no issue fitting our drink and lot of space of ice. We were outside under the sun all day and the ice lasted since 7AM till we got home at 5PM. Left over drinks were cold.
We took it out on the river. It float on the river. We tied it to out tubes and float downstream. There are a lot of rocks and at various places of the river I was worry that it would break due to hitting the rock and scraping on rocks. At the end of the 2.5 hrs float, there was clearly scratches but the cooler was solid.
Pros: very durable, keep ice for a long time, float in water and water resistant. Looks just like all the expensive brands out there, but fraction of the price
Cons: heavy, but expected. Similar weight to other brands.Posted on

Perfect can cooler for weekend trips! After doing a lot of researching for a modern, insulating beer cooler, I decided on the Stakol 24 can design for several reasons. First, I was initially attracted to the color (not going to lie).
The blue looks exactly as pictured in real life and it's just a very cool looking blue. I also liked the collapsible carrying handle with soft grip be aise the other designs with only side handles are inconvenient for this size.
It also features a perfectly placed drain plug, holes in the closure for a lock if you needed, and two spots on the lid for placing your cans.
So I was able to give this cooler a great test run this Father's Day weekend. The family and I went camping for 4 days and 3 nights. We have a larger cooler for food and soft drinks, but wanted something more compact and efficient for adult beverages. Camping, we opt into aluminum cans over bottles and this cooler said it could hold up to 24.
With a layer of ice, 6 cans, more ice etc etc, I was able to fit 18 cans with 10 lbs of loose ice. The cans started at room temp on my pantry before putting them in. By Monday morning, we had several beers leftover and there was still ice floating in the water. I was very impressed. I can't imagine how long the ice would last with ice cold beer first going into the cooler.
A quick learning curve and I might end up using ice blocks with can sleeves and very cold beer before heading out for multi day camping trips. This will definitely be a staple in camping for my family and it's impressive to hold ice for 4 days in Arizona summers while left in the camper or in the shade!Posted on

Ice for 24 HoursThis cooler is amazing and the perfect size to throw in the backseat and take an ice cold 12 pack somewhere. On a recent camping trip i filled it up and head out in the morning and by the next morning i still had ice and cold drinks in the cooler even with 90 degree days. The cooler itself has a nice gray color that is a little more subdued than others with bright reds, whites, and blues which i appreciate. The plastic is smooth and durable feeling and it has a metal handle with conform foam grip.
It is small enough to easily throw around with one arm and big enough to hold up to 24 cans. I find 12 at a time to be the sweet spot filling the rest of the space with ice. It keeps frosty ice cold and as you run out you can drop in another 12 and keep going.
For the price this is a quarter of what some other cost but seems to provide the same/similar features for a significant value.Posted on

niceThe quality is good .It keeps your items with ice for at least 2-3 days. It is sturdy and easy to handle. I would highly recommend this product. It stays cold even in hot weather.

Lightweight and efficientI was super impressed how light with this cooler was. I was anticipating because of its thermal abilities. It would be a lot heavier. I can easily get 2412 ounce soda cans and shut the lid tightly. That doesn’t include ice but gives you an idea of the volume of this 16 quart cooler. The valve on the side has a really long and thick threaded Screw to keep it shut. The opening is family wide, so it drains very quickly as well. The bottom of the cooler has some small rubber raised feet. This allows me to safely put it onto a surface without it sliding off. The metal handle has a padded hand grip. That’s definitely wide enough for two hands. It maneuvers forward and backwards and locks into multiple positions.

Sturdy and very portablePurchased for my frequent lake trips, I needed a sturdy cooler that’s as easy to carry. I love the portability of this and how long it keeps the ice from melting. It keeps my drinks and snacks cold the entire day without the ice melting and soaking everything. Forgot to empty one trip and everything was still super cold next day. Taking to a concert next week ! I like the built in side drain making it easy to drain. It has easy to use latch straps and the bottom has nice rubber feet. Happy with purchase!

The best weekend away coolerI'm tired of all my coolers leaving my drinks warm before I get to my destination. When ice melts it usually just pools on the bottom with no where to go.
I picked this one out because it has a way better seal and an easy to use drain to make it easier to get any water out when I'm done with the cooler for the weekend. It has simple instructions attached to the cooler to prechill for maximum results.
This cooler is the perfect size for a weekend away at the campground. It keeps drinks cold and I even had ice at the end of the weekend.Posted on

Great cooler terrible handleThe cooler is great, it stays cool for 48 hours easy. The handle is the sad part. It is thin and spindly , the pad moves too easily. The small handle will make your hand hurt even after a short carring distance. I added some grip wrap for a 10 speed bike handle bars and that helpped a bit.

Hreat alternative to YetiLooking at a Yeti but get sticker shock? Then this is a great option, every bit as good, rugged and a great size for a contractor for lunch and beverages. Not the slim tiny cooler its chunky and well insulated keeps ice easy 2 days in a hot truck. It has indents for cups that are useless but everything else is great for rugged use.
