Great umbrella stand!I wanted an umbrella stand that was both attractive and sturdy. This stand fits the bill! It is very heavy, so my umbrella won't blow over and it is fairly attractive. I wanted a bronze color to match my umbrella pole and this one does. It is larger than I expected, but I'm happy with my purchase.

Heavy and sturdyHeavy! We had to put a spacer in the stem so umbrella would close. But it seems to be very sturdy. We've had some strong winds and so far its held with umbrella closed. Others have broken in same situation.

Wind testedI waited a while to write this review. We had a windy day that blew over my propane patio heater, but the umbrella remained standing. The finish hasn't suffered at all. I would highly recommend this umbrella stand.
