Trees are great…with a modification.I purchased these trees to place on my front porch during the holiday season. I was concerned based off some of the reviews that they would get knocked over quickly during high winds. Where I live tends to get very high winds frequently so I wasn’t sure if they were going to work or not. However, the way I solved for that was to buy some very small sandbags (The kind you can use to weigh down a tent or canopy) and clip two together, draping them on either side of the trees base above the box for even distribution. I did this for both trees and it worked perfectly. Also, with the way the branches fall on the trees. You could hardly see the sandbags so it was perfect visually as well.

Beautiful!I needed new trees for my front porch and I’m so glad I found these. They are GORGEOUS! They barely shed at all when I was fluffing them out and the lights are placed perfectly throughout. I’ve gotten compliments from every visitor that’s been over since I put them out for the season.

won\'t work outside and no free returnsI had been searching for solar or battery powered for my patio. These came up anyway and I didn\'t read carefully enough to see they require a power cord. Also, as I would have found had I read enough reviews, they are not heavy enough for my intended purpose. Worse, I had come to trust Amazon to have free and easy returns. That is not the case here where I am having to pay $20 in shipping to return them. So...buyer beware!
