In the dog house.Should work in the short term. I bought this to keep my dog as dry as possible when she\'s outside. I would be surprised if it last three seasons. A little tricky to put together. Much easier to assemble with 2 people.

Misaligned PiecesThis was harder to put together than it should have been, some pieces just didn\'t line up to fit and I had to hammer them in place. The piece for the very 1st step didn\'t click the way it was supposed to so it\'s not flat and if it rains, the water will definitely get in. My dog isn\'t out a lot, I just wanted to give him the option of a house. I\'d return it if I hadn\'t already dumped the box but I\'ll make it work.

Easy to assemble but would be great with an included door flapBought it for my Westie who is thoroughly obsessive about his crates. If I pick up his crate and move it he barks and cries and chases it, the moment I put it down he runs inside and stays there. If I am busy doing house chores he just goes in the crate and sleeps. If I leave him home alone he goes in the crate and stays there the whole time. So I bought this with the idea hey he can have a home, with his personal things. He rarely goes in. Tried to use treats and his toys but he just grabs it and runs out. Going to keep playing with location and etc (right now it\'s in a different room). I did try putting a blanket over front and got a better response, so would love to have a flap (maybe clear or plastic/rubber net like crate door). I see some advertised but not sure of the fit. Was thinking of putting his crate in but can\'t fit through opening and it\'s not a simple thing to remove roof (have quite a few screws to take out).
In essence, keep in mind the size and the ability to move it. You got metal screws into plastic (I think), and if you remove and assemble again it might weaken. Great idea and concept, floor looks easy to clean. Just wish my pup would use it.Posted on

Very basic doghouseThis is a plastic doghouse that wasn\'t as large as I thought I would be. I make a point that it is plastic because it is a little flimsy until you screw it all together, then it isn\'t that bad. I wouldn\'t expect it to hold up against any wild weather. We had some nasty high winds come through and it held up fine. I think for $40 bucks or whatever I paid it was a fine purchase. We will see how it does in the snow.

Nice and toughI brought this house for my outside cats to have a place to keep warm in the winter and when it rain or snows. I've had it for a few years now and its still strong and sturdy.

Cute, sturdy and easy to clean.Aesthetically very nice, the plastic makes it easy to clean we just take a hose to it. My dog likes it and it’s a great place for him to get some shade and keep warm in the winter. We also use it for storage of all his toys. I like it!

Anchor it down!Great dog house for our pup...the size is fine, though we are finding he'll likely grow out of it. That's our fault, not the house's though! I would highly recommend weighting or anchoring it down though. The weather hasn't moved it but our naughty pup has! We went with plastic due to weathering and so if we need a bigger one, we'll ultimately look for this one in a larger size. My husband put it together very quickly and if I (and I'm not terribly good at assembling things) had to do it I am sure I could as well.

Good valueWas pretty easy to assemble with a screw gun. You may end up with tendinitis or carpal tunnel syndrome without one. It’s nice that the floor is raised a few inches above the ground to prevent water from splashing inside. Been up for several weeks and the dogs have not destroyed it yet!

Decent.Wasn’t as sturdy as I was thinking it would be. But it works and it gets the job done. Survived a full grown Akita for the past few months so it does fit larger dogs.
