A Very Stable BicycleThe old bike was bought two years ago. It is too short now. I bought this 18-inch model. The color is rare. But it looks good! The tires are very thick, and it is very stable to ride! There are also training wheels, but I didn\'t install them because he can ride a bike this year! My son likes to ring the bell. Quite a glamorous bike!I got to say the design and aesthetic of this bike beats the typical generic ones found in Target and Walmart (except the higher pricing ones). The materials are very well made. The seat is supportive with soft cushion. Definitely nicer than sitting in the hard seat I remember I used to ride on back in college. The kids love the basket and the ring that it comes with. Works out great so I don’t have to buy a separate ringer to attach to the bike. Assembly is generally straightforward and easy. There was just the one last step to connect the steering wheel that needs adult assistance. Bravo product!

Highly recommendMy kids ride the bike for a month, they love and enjoyed so much, easy to install and handle. Pretty stable and running smoothly as well. It’s good for this summer and increase lots of outside time and more exercise as well. The blanket in front of the bike which is very helpful and useful to leave the items. Not very impressed.I soooo wish this was easier to pedal. I have a 5 year old. He\'s not super big, but he should be able to easily pedal a kids bike, right? Even after adjusting the brakes and doing all the setup in the booklet, it still is just really hard for him. We\'ve been trying to work on him trying, but it\'s hard for him to push them fast enough to get enough speed/momentum to stay up. I don\'t see how everyone else isn\'t having the same problem. But the 14-inch wheel is a struggle for my 5-year-old.
Another difficulty is that things are on there so tight! It\'s nice it\'s mostly assembled, but we cannot budge the nuts on the back wheels. We were contemplating putting on the training wheels with how hard it is to pedal, but there\'s no hope of that when we can\'t even budge those. There\'s not a wrench that comes with it that\'s the right size and the one we have isn\'t deep enough to sit clear back over the long bolt (which would hold the training wheels) to access the nut. Which is frustrating that we\'ll have to take a brand new bike to a bike shop to loosen those and try to figure out if something is wrong with the back wheel setup to make it so hard to pedal.Posted on

Love itMy daughter first bike, she loves it, it was a little scary first time getting on it for her, but she managed getting on it, with help from paddle wheels. As you can see in the pictures, the bike built with heavy duty materials not like cheap bike. With the basket in front my daughter placed her toys in it. I tried the brake pads( foot and hands) are very sensitive. Recommend for all the newbies and youngsters.

It’s Aight.The bike is a good size. My daughter likes the color and the basket so she can add her toys. For my 5yo seems a bit big, but at least should get a good amount of use out of it. Putting it together was easy. She still requires the training wheels. Little bit afraid due to not being able to touch the floor.
My only gripe is the nuts and bolts. Tighten the heck out of them but always coming loose. Training wheels and seat are always loosening up.Posted on

Overall good bike, minor complaintsThe bike itself is something my daughter wanted; light pink color, training wheels, and a basket. I am slightly disappointed that the mud guards aren\'t made of metal but then again my daughter will likely only use this bike for 1-3 years. The bike comes with \"everything needed\" for assembly but you will need some real wrenches for tightening the training wheels otherwise they will come off in my experience. I do recommend this bike, its very nice, sturdy, and everything a 5 year old girl could ask for.

My kid absolutely loves it!It came in a big box. Most parts were attached. I only needed to attach few parts: handle bars, front and rear reflectors, secure the seat, install the left/right pedals, install the basket, and the training wheels (these are optional). The installation only took me about 15-20mins. The required parts, tools, and manual are all included in the box. The seat and handle bars are adjustable in height so you can make it fit your child. The tires didn’t come inflated so it needed a quick pump, which isn’t a big deal. The only thing you might want to pay attention to is adjusting the brakes. Depending on your child’s hand strength, you may want to either loosen it or tighten it. My kid is 7 and she loves it very much. She tells me the bell and the basket is her favorite parts on the bike.

Excellent finish but some adjustments could be madeUpon opening the large box the product arrived in, I found the bike inside almost fully assembled—only the foot pegs and adjusted the underbar as necessary. The quality of the product is excellent, with a great paint job and no greasy chain or scratched marks. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have the front brake pre-adjusted upon arrival.

Classic Design and Good PerformanceThe assembly is quite easy since a lot of parts are already pre-assembled. Thus, it took less than 15 minutes to install the whole thing.
For the size, we got the 16 inch one and the size chart is correct. My daughter is 4 year old and about 42\" tall. The size chart suggests the suitable height is 41.5\" - 51\". As my 4th picture is shown, my daughter is very comfortable with this size (I set the seat the lowest).
The design is classic. I like its mix of blue and brown colors. All the parts like rubber handle and leather seat look high quality.
The performance wise, it works well. My daughter has no issue riding it and the break stops the bike without any issue. Since my daughter is very young so we will keep the training wheels for awhile. Because this bike can support the height up to 51\", she will be riding it without the training wheels when she gets little bit older.Posted on

Perfect present of my 6-year-old.My 6-year-old outgrew his previous bike and it was time to upgrade. He was adamant about getting a basket so he can have a place to put his toys.
The bike came with training wheels which is great. Despite the instruction booklet showing a kickstand, there was no kickstand in the box (not needed since there are training wheels). There are both forms or braking system (pedal and handlebars) which is a nice transition from his previous bike. His hand is too small to use the hand brakes but it’s there for him to practice when he’s ready. For now, the pedal brakes work perfectly fine. He loves the color scheme and the brown accents on the wheels, seat and handle bars are a nice touch.
Installation is very straight forward. It may take a bit longer if the kids help. The front wheel does not have a quick detach system but the wheels are so small at this point, I’m not sure that would be necessary.Posted on

Nicely priced, sturdy bikeMy grandchild is loving her new bike. The bike comes shipped in a large box and is almost fully assembled but there are some things you do need to put together. The manual does a nice job of illustrating and describing just what you need to do. The company provides the tools too. I only had one problem with the larger metric wrench. It was a bit to large and slipped off the wheel bolt when tightening it. The other wrenches worked well. You get an Allen wrench with a Phillips head screwdriver end as well. You will need to put on the training wheels. The seat is attached to the post but you will have to install the bar post. The handle bars are installed on the bar post as well but you will have to install the handle bars too. You get a front and back reflector, one Red for the back and a White for the front. These are easily installed on the seat post and handle bar post. You also need to install the front plastic basket or leave it off, it is your preference. No screws are needed for the basket, it simply has plastic hooks that clip over the handle bars. You will have to tighten up and adjust not only the seat and handle bars for your childs size but you will also have to tighten and adjust the bell and front brake handle. I did have to adjust the front brake pads as they were not operating correctly. This was done with little effort by loosening the nut and aligning them and then also I needed to tighten the brake space by unscrewing the cable adjustment to adjust the brake to decrease the gap of the brake pad and wheel. So you will need to have a little bit of skill in completing the assembly but it’s not bad at all.
The only other thing you will need is a tire pump as the tires come deflated.
This is a nicely priced bike and should give them years of enjoyment. We are happy to see a smile on the face of our grandchild!Posted on
